Rain fell upon my head and Gordo solemnly said the two words I had been waiting to hear since Winter Break.

I suppose you're wondering what the crime was. Earlier this year, Christmas break to be exact, Gordo's family went on vacation to Cancun, Mexico. Of course, that's where Kate, and Claire, and Ethan, and all the popular kids go on break to get a tan and walk around in bikinis. Gordo, being the social outcast that he is.or was, didn't understand that until that one "Fatal night," as Miranda puts it.

Gordo decided it would be fun to go to Senior Frogs club, because his parents were out and what else was he supposed to do? He saw Kate and Claire there.looking hot, of course. Kate saw someone she knew and started dancing with him. Gordo may have been a social outcast but he was still a guy. So of course he danced back and the next thing he knew he was flying home next to Kate talking about what an amazing time they had had. As soon as school started again he wanted nothing to do with me or Miranda.

But finally, that one night at the dance he came back to me. It was the best night of my life, so far.
