Summary-Lana gets the DNA results, Pete plays basketball, Pete gets whooped by a girl.
"Pete! Hey, Pete!" Lana yelled over the sound of a bouncing ball.
"Oh, hey, Lana." Pete replied, putting the basketball under his arm and walking towards her, meeting her at half court. "I'm guessing you're not here to work on my jump shot for basketball tryouts tomorrow?" He grinned, eyeing Lana.
"I bet you don't even need it. But.I got the DNA results from Henry.he's.he's my biological Dad." Lana said, a smile splitting across her face.
"Lana, that's great!" Pete said, putting his arm on her shoulder. Lana shook it off and hugged him.
"I thought you should be the first too know. I know you convinced your mom to petition for the tests." Lana said, stepping back.
"I do what I can. But, you're welcome." Pete said, picking up the ball that had rolled into the grass when she had hugged him.
"You know, I think I've picked up a thing or two about basketball. Do you really want some competition?" Lana asked, dropping her purse.
"Oh, please. But, I guess I could use an easy win to boost my confidence. Let's go!" Pete grinned, tossing the ball to Lana. "Ladies first." He grinned, bowing before her.
"Too bad, Pete. That's one, let's play to ten." Lana cried as she flew passed him and made a shot.
"You're on. Show me what you got." Pete said, hunkering down as she came towards him.
