Ephram Wakes up one morning to his father standing over him. "Wake up, I made waffles!!" said Andy. Ephram think to himself how he has to go to school and survive another day with Amy, and not being able to tell her how he feels. All he can think about is Amy. He dreams about her. As Ephram walks down the noisy halls of his High School he has his eyes locked on Amy, he approaches her with a big grin on his face.
" Hey Amy, How are things going?"
"I got a call from the hospital today…Collin is dying." Amy burst's out into tears. She wraps her arms around Ephram and hopes for some comfort back
"Want to go somewhere were we can talk?" asked Ephram
"Please"
Amy and Ephram missed their first and second period classes, Amy just let out all her feeling about Collin's condition. She was explaining to Ephram how everyone can't expect her to live her life holding on to someone who is dying. As she is explaining this to him, he leans in and gives her a hug of comfort.
As the lunch bell rings they both depart.
"RING, RING" "Someone get it" yells Ephram.
"Hello, Dr. Brown speaking…one second please…..EPHRAM, TELEPHONE"
"Hello?!"
"Hi Ephram, It's Amy how are you?
"Good thanx how about you?"
"umm…well….yah…Collins…heart has stopped"
"oh my god, Amy I'm really sorry, is there anything I can do?"
"No, it's okay I just called so if Mrs. Buber asked were I am tomorrow you can explain to her!"
"Okay no problem anything to help you, well okay take care of yourself, and I'll call u tomorrow when I get home from school"
"ok thanks so much Ephram, bye"
Eprham goes to bed feeling some what of joy, he's sort of happy in a way that she has learned to get over Collin, someone who has been in a coma for over 4 months!
"Amy, I love you so much" says Ephram.
"Oh how I love you Ephram," says Amy.
They end their night with a goodbye kiss. Ephram walks in the door and right into the living room with the biggest smile on his face.
*beep, beep, beep , beep * His alarm goes off, with a big frown on his face, he relizes it was just a dream.
