Chapter One:Dance With Me (Vegeta's POV)

It was the night of the Universal Planets Union Ball; where leaders of the planets invovled with the union bring their future heirs to the throne once a year and talk about economics, battle stradegy and stuff like that. It was also the night before LOT (Leaders of Tomarrow) classes began.
And everyone in the room was full of anticipation.....everyone except me.
About an hour of my father's jibber jabber on the next planet that would be attacked I noticed a young lady standing in a group of people and talking to the scientist Bardock's son Radditz.
She looked like a goddess, she was so beautiful. She had creamy tan skin that shimmered in the light of the chandelier hanging above her. Her blue eyes looked as blue as the ocean. And her figure was so amazing....it made me feel warm and tingly inside. She wore a white silky dress with ruffles and roses pinned all over the dress and in her long straight black hair; she had a pair of silver heeled shoes and a tiarra made of sterling and diamonds.
As Radditz put his arm around his shoulder I stood up knocking my chair down on the floor. I was determined to have her for myself and no one was going to keep her away from me.
"Vegeta! What's gotten into you?" my father asked glaring at me, "This is an important meeting and I think if you know what's best for you, you'll pick that chair up and sit down." he sneered.
"I think what's best for me is out on the dancefloor."I muttered walking down the stairs.
The closer I got to her, the prettier she seemed to get. I then noticed the chandelier above her was wobbling and hanging on one string. I ran to the group knocking everyone out of the way and ripping her from Radditz's grasp and moving out of the way of the chandelier as it fell on top of Radditz.
'Note to self: remember to laugh about this event in Radditz's face; also remember to laugh hard......REAL hard!'
I stood up and helped her up off the floor.
"Oh my god....you saved me!" she said shaking her dress.
"What can I ever do to repay you for such a great deed?" she asked looking into my eyes.
"Repay me with one dance....I promise I'll protect you."I said grinning at her as Radditz's shakily stood to his feet.
"Radditz, when I get back have two cold Syrulian champagnes ready for me and...."
"Vegeta....Prince Vegeta."I said as Radditz sneered at me.
"Yes Princess Isis."he muttered walking to retrieve the champagne.
For the next fifteen minutes we danced to so many different songs my head felt dizzy with excitement. And yet she still smiled at me stared off into my eyes. she layed her head on my chest and closed her eyes.
"Are you tired?" I asked as she nodded her head slightly.
"I thought so." I said lifting her up in my arms and walking to the guest chambers.
After all....it was the least I could do for her.................
