They ask me where I'm from.

I don't know.

They ask me what my name is.

I don't know.

They ask me what I am.

...I don't know.

But *why* don't I know?

I've never known anything but the things around me.

I've never had a name.

I'm something that's not human...But I'm not a pokemon either.

Than who-no, *what* am I?

I look like a human.

Though I have fur, and strangely shaped ears.

I have fangs and claws.

I have a tail, and thirst for meat.

But I'm still human...aren't I?

They keep me locked up in here, night and day, I have never seen the outside.

I've heard others, in their sleep, mumble marvelous things about the outside, with it's lush grass and blue sky.

One day, I'll venture out there, and finally know the answers to my questions.

But for now... I just don't know.

Wow...first angst. If you could call it that. This idea just popped into my head one night after watching YuYu Hakusho and Inuyasha. Personally I liked it. Oh, yes, and could you please send something in for "Hoshi and Tsuki: the Star and the moon?"
