Anger Management
To an outsider he appeared like a graceful dancer, stepping forward and backward with movements like a cat, his shadow following his every move faithfully. But within the room, the truth was revealed.
The sweat and dirt dripping into his glowing red eyes. The angry sneer upon his painted lips. The way his arms appeared listless and heavy as they moved. The torn shirt shredded in his anger, hanging loosely about his sculptured green torso. And clashing violently with it all was the blood. Both the sight of it covering the lobby of the Hyperion and the smell of death in the room would strike you down as you entered.
Blood and some sodden flesh was draped over the front counter, streaks of blood plastered the walls a grey lump on the floor could only have been something's brains. There was no sign of any remaining identifiable body. Even the small circular couch in the centre of the room had been decimated in the brutal attack. Bits of green velvet and white stuffing were stuck in the odd piles of blood.
Lorne was still swinging the large hubcap axe when Angel, Gunn and Fred arrived. Fred covered her mouth and hid behind Gunn. Angel immediately went to game face though whether from the perceived threat or the volumes of blood it couldn't be known. Lorne continued to swing the axe down onto the smear of mush on the floor at his feet. He was panting heavily, his breath ragged. Gunn approached him.
"Lorne" he whispered. Lorne reacted by switching targets lifting the axe and turning to attack Gunn. Gunn skidded back arms out, shouting to stop. Fred Screamed. Angel barrelled into Lorne knocking the axe from his hands and pushing him to stairs. Using his vampire strength Angel held Lorne still.
"What happened here?" Angel asked, still in game face "this smells human, what's going on?"
Lorne shook his head as though to clear his thoughts, then he seemed to notice the others. His eyes travelled around the room taking in the destruction and blood, something he suddenly remembered doing himself. He smiled at Angel.
"That will teach the little prick to call me a Filthy Demon"
