There was a peculiar smell in the air. It was savory. One the Druid hadn't smelled in years. It was that of… "Petunias? What the…?"

"What? Can't you stand something that actually smells good," the Amazon said.

"No, not really it's just that I didn't expect…," Norecc said.

"Look, your wolfy wolf aroma like reeks, ok? And ever since you got Jala's Mane a minute ago you've gotten all excited and it got worse," Verasile said.

Norecc scratched his werewolf back and frowned in thought. "Well, in about 40 seconds I will have to recast and there is a…um…1 second interval where you might have some peace." Norecc laughed at the thought of the further agony of his companion.

The corpses of the enemies were already scattered around in them in desolate land of Tristram. Griswold had given up some decent items and now in order to complete the quest they need to get Deckard Cain out of his cage.

"Now where is this living fossil that witch was talking about?" The Druid said.

"Living fossil? After all those items he identified for you? After all the knowledge that saved your life? Why would you call such a great man that?"

"If the man's so great why is he stuck in a cage…again? He made me pay for all those items by the way. And besides the man's senile. He claimed the Rouges saved him when clearly a group whom refused to party with me clearly did all the work." Norecc said.

"It's a wonder why they didn't….wolfy bastard…"

*Whooonnnnnngg*

"Ooop, time to change."

Verasile grunted. "This was a mistake. I need to get out of here."

Norecc smiled and, with eyes open wide, he turned towards the Amazon. "Last time I checked you needed this quest and," the druid laughed, "it doesn't look like anyone else needs this particular one. Your friends already got it, remember? And if you hadn't gotten killed by that Fallen a minute ago you wouldn't have gotten left behind."

The Amazon would put an arrow to his head right then and there if she were able to hostile outside of town.

"Help!" Cain yelled.

"Oh thank God he is right there!" The Amazon ran towards the cage to release Cain. But then the Druid in werewolf form outran the Zon.

"Oh no…Norecc stop!"

"Ooooh!" Deckard groaned.

It was too late. Deckard Cain had died of a heart attack do to the sudden appearance of the wolf.

The Druid pulled the corpse out of the cage. "I don't think this was supposed to happen"

Verasile slapped her head. "What in the world in wrong with you?! Why did you ran like grease lighting towards him!?"

"I wanted to make sure he saw my face before he went through the portal…remember how he made me pay…"

"You fool! I'm in your party and you were in the same area so you get the quest regardless!"

The Druid shrugged. "Oh well, we'll just start another game."

The Zon almost screamed. "No! I'm never joining another game with you again! If I'm about to kill Baal in Hell difficulty and you join, I will leave!"

With that the Zon left, however not before the Druid made note of her account name…she wouldn't see the last of Norecc the Werewolf.
