Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I do not own any of the Tuck Everlasting
characters. I really wish I could own Jess/Jonathon Jackson *grins
evilly*
"I'll love you till the day I die." Jesse shouted to Winnie.
Those words were too much for Winnie to handle. How long would it take
Jesse to return? Would it be a year? Or would it be 50? She had the
bottle of water from the spring clutched to her chest. Winnie couldn't
bear the thought of living without Jesse.
She ran towards the wagon as they were getting ready to leave.
"Take me with you!"
All the Tucks looked dumbstruck.
"What about your family?" Mae asked Winnie
"I don't care. You're my family now."
Mae, Winnie, and Jesse looked towards Angus with hopeful faces. After a
moment, Angus sighed.
"I know I'll regret this. Get in the wagon, quick, before we get caught
and I change my mind."
Winnie hopped into the wagon, squeezing between Jesse and Miles. Jesse
wrapped his arm around her to keep her warm. As the Tucks and Winnie
rode away from TreeGap, they were all think of thier new lives.
a/n Just a little alternate ending I wrote one day during my Writer's
Workshop class. I was ready to cry when he said that during the movie.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a title? Should I try and continue
this or should I leave it the way it is?
