Variation in Red and Silver

This is a bit of a prequel to The Sky Over Scotland; it's Draco and Ginny's story. Their romance, their lives at the moment. Bits of snarking, and possible future smut! Wheee.

Variation is a story that I have been feeling the urge to write since shortly after I began my story The Sky Over Scotland. In Sky, we learn that Draco and Ginny are a couple, and are off on some sort of scientific mission. This is their piece of the puzzle- a bit of a prequel to Sky.  I love these two; I love their relationship and their personalities, and I feel the need to write out their story. Plus, they won't shut up 'til I write it. Godsdamned pushy people.

 The title comes from the ballet term 'variation'- a dance specifically for one or two characters, in which they tell their own story, a small part of the whole. So. Here it is; the romance of Draco and Ginny- a variation in red and silver.
