Endless Sorrow
My kiss dances across your quivering lips,
As your last warm breath of life escapes you.
You whisper "remember me always" but, how can
I forget your face?
Your shining eyes were always upon me,
You were there to free me in my darkest hour.
Now I say goodbye to you, for you were one that I
loved, just like the others.
Friends question me "where should we lay him?"
Your blank gravestone lies by my hand.
I answer not, for I'm reminiscing, about the past
and another land.
I will cherish the memory of how I'd watch you
In class, see you fret about things I didn't yet

My short and Glorious time, did soon come, as we
traveled far, to that distant land.
"I'll never forget you" I say aloud, while stroking
my last remaining friend.
Others do their best to cheer me, but my happy
days are at an end.
All I can do is sit and stare, my voice emotionless, monotone.
As I whisper, quietly, those fated words.
"I am destined to be alone."
