Yes, he had wanted to die, but not like this!
Where was the glory? The grand explosion?
And why did he feel.. remorse? Remorse for his actions?
And as he drew his last breath, he realized his actions were wrong, and wished he could start anew…
And everybody present breathed a tired sigh of relief, for it was over.
Sephiroth had died.

Author's notes: MUAHAHAHAHA! I bet that's got a few of you scratching your heads and saying, "Huh?"
I was originally intending this to be a self-insert, but inspiration struck, and I realized it's way too early in my authoring career to think about doing THAT! Besides, I'd feel QUITE uncomfortable putting a self-inserted version of me in the situations poor Sephiroth's gonna go through! BUAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!
Yes, I know it's shorter than hell, but this is a prologue, and just a simple way for me to add a bit of suspense, all while adding in a new "menace" to the Ranmaverse!
If this is really similar to the real ending of Final Fantasy 7, cool. If it's worse, oh well. If it's better, then maybe I should get a job with Squaresoft…
I really wouldn't know, considering I've never gotten to the end of FF7…
