Rayearth Poems
By ~Tsuki
This poem is written after the second season when Hikaru and Lantis get in an argument and Eagle is watching her suffer. I do not own Rayearth or the Rayearth characters.
The Watcher
It hurts me.
To only be able to watch,
Stand by on the sidelines, view your
Pain
Shown, displayed to me, in crying fits.
You're remarkably good
At hiding what you feel.
But unlike so many others,
I can see what's beneath, what's real.
It pains me so,
To see you like this.
Shocked by cruel reality
From your state of bliss.
I wish I could say I truly
understood.
In truth, I'm rather lost.
All I can is listen, and watch
This scene play out, you paying your hefty
price.
My comfort can't mean much
As you hold your bleeding heart
I wish I could do something more,
Then watch your life rip apart.
Damn the one who did this
Who mercilessly tortured your soul
Damn him, that Wiley vixen
For completely abandoning your soul.
Yet somehow, you still love him
(proving you are beyond kind)
And all I can do is watch,
And hope true love will find you once more find.
I am a watcher,
I view your life and pain
Watch as tears roll down your cheeks,
Dripping from them like rain.
so I'll sit, and watch
Be your listening ear
Your shoulder to cry on,
And wait for the day you stop shedding your tears.
