Hermione sat on her bed, brushing out her long mane of silky brown hair. She had changed since leaving Hogwarts, and her old self. Instead of being shapeless, flat-chested, with ratty brown hair and freckles, she was now tall, slender, very shapely, huge bossoms, and long silken brown hair that framed a tanned face without freckles, and dark hazel eyes. Beside her sat a yawning Ginny. Ginny had changed, too. Instead of her beautiful red hair and melting brown eyes, she had grown into a goth. Her hair was dyed black and dreaded, and her brown eyes were adorned in black contacts. Her pale skin showed no sign of being a Weasley, and her physique was hidden under a baggy black sweater and skater jeans. They had spent the night together, a sleepover. Some other girls had joined them, two of them were in the bathroom doing their make up, and three were downstairs in Hermione's living room.

Ginny yawned again, looped her arm around Hermione's waist, and pulled her closer, resting her lips on Hermione's throat. Her tongue darted out, tasting, and feeling, and slid along her jaw, and to her mouth. Ginny and Hermione frenched for a few seconds, and Ginny ended it with one last lick of the throat, and wandered down the hall. Hermione sat there, a smile toying with her lips, as she watched Ginny disappear down the stairs. One of the other girls in the bathroom stuck her head out and saw Ginny leave. Quickly and quietly, she made her way towards Hermione, and sat beside her.

They interlocked fingers, and stared into each others eyes. Hermione felt a pang of guilt around her heart. She didn't love Ginny, she loved this girl, she loved Cho. But why did she keep letting Ginny take advantage of her? She thought to herself, I must end this affair with Ginny before Cho can't handle it anymore. Cho knew of course, Hermione had been trying to end her affair with Ginny for a week, but she once again had the opportunity, and fell weak-kneed, to Ginny's command. "Herm, are you and Ginny..?" Cho needn't finish the question. Softly, Hermione shook her head no. Cho's dark eyes saddened, and felt her heart plunge. Hermione ran her fingers through Cho's long raven black hair, and leaned over and kissed her on the lips, softly.

"I'm sorry, Cho. I will try and end it today. I promise." Cho nodded, and swallowed the lump in her throat. She draped her arms around Hermione's shoulders, and they hugged for a few moments, and then they both got up and made their way downstairs.
