Lost Teammate
"Ohayo, everyone!" Greeted Quatre cheerfully as he entered the Kitchen. "Ohayo, Quatre!" Said his best friend, Duo. "Where's Trowa?" Asked Quatre as he looked around the room. Duo shrugged, "Haven't seen him since yesterday." "Hmm." Quatre thought. "Did he even come home last night, after his mission?" Heero inquired. Quatre gasped, "Now I remember!" "How convenient." Wufei frowned. "I waited for Trowa last night. But when it got late, I figured he would be back even later so I gave up and went to bed." "I'll go see if he's in his room." Stated Wufei, then left. "I hope he's alright." Quatre said in a concerned tone. "Don't sweat it, Q. For all we know he only slept in." Duo smiled. Wufei reentered the Kitchen. "He wasn't there." He said. "What!?!" Quatre's eyes widened. "Hn." Wufei sat down on a chair. "W-What could have h-happened?" Quatre sat down beside Wufei. "I don't get it. He wouldn't have stayed somewhere else for the night without telling us." Said Heero. "Unless." Quatre's eyes filled with tears. "Unless he couldn't." Heero stated. Duo smiled at him. Heero smiled back. "Huh?" Wufei said with a confused expression on his face. He turned to Quatre who was currently in shock, "Don't worry, Winner, we'll find him." Quatre smiled slightly and nodded. After breakfast they flew their gundams to the L3 colony. "No, I haven't seen him around." Said Catherine after quickly glaring at Quatre. "I guess she's still mad at me for taking Trowa away from her." He thought.
"We should go to where his mission was. Maybe somebody recognized him and he got caught or something." Wufei suggested. Quatre smiled happily at him. Wufei looked away and blushed. After searching the place of Trowa's mission thoroughly, which turned out to be very time consuming and also unsuccessful, they gave up searching for him and went home. Quatre sighed when they arrived. Wufei put his hand on Quatre's shoulder, "We'll look again tomorrow." "Okay."Said Quatre sadly. When they got inside, Quatre said goodnight and went to his room. He sighed again then turned on the light. He looked up and smiled brightly. "Trowa!" The blonde ran and hugged the taller boy. "Where were you?" He asked, his eyes filled with tears. Trowa smiled and said, "I was on my way back." "I was so worried, but Wufei was really helpful in making me feel a little better." Quatre blushed and hugged harder. The next morning, Quatre and Trowa entered the Kitchen together. "Ohayo, everyone!" Greeted Quatre cheerfully. "Ohayo, Quatre! Ohayo- Trowa? You're back!" Said Duo. "Where's Heero?" Asked Trowa as he looked around the room. Wufei shrugged, "Haven't seen him since yesterday." Quatre sweat dropped, "Not this again."
