Disclaimer: I do not own pokemon.

Well I'm back for a totally new series.

A brief overview to get you aquainted with me. I used to write in Fanfiction before everything went hazy and I couldn't figure out what to do any more. Absolutely no one will recognise my writing style, because I'm in high school now. And its all different and I only use pokemon to test my writing techniques on. Ciao.

The espeon trailed miserably in front of them, his head hung low and exhausted from the long night he had ahead of him.
The night was cold and everything was still.
Pitch dark, moisture dripping from passing pine trees.
Suddenly a beedrill leapt up in front of them, its drill sparkling in the moonlight.
Espeon straightened up, his fur glistening as his face blanched at the sight of the beedrill.
"So... soon?"
The beedrill nodded and the espeon bowed his head low and set off down the path again, tired of the heavy weight that now rested on his shoulders.
Beedrill called after him, "Though not quite. Those possessed pokemon have not yet captured everything... you may find some solace further on in the Jenny Cottage.
The dog growled under his breath, "Look what we're all reduced to. Hiding!"
Suddenly a noctowl swiftly flew from the air and landed, panting, in front of espeon next to beedrill.
"Esha! Beware-"
"Look out!"
A crobat zoomed through the air and with a flick of the wings sliced off noctowl's head and swept back into the forest.
Espeon was about to send a psychic after him, when beedrill hit him with a volley of poisoned pins.
Dodging them aside, espeon hissed, "If I didn't know better, I'd say you were against us!"
The dragonair behind sighed, "Esha do you have to be so suspicious!"
"Well sorry!"
The Dragonair, Day, tossed her coils, sensing the approaching army.
Espeon focused his mind on beedrill, trying to dig into his mind, finding what might have caused the attack.
Beedrill, completely oblivious to this, stretched his pin tips.
"Just keeping you on your toes Esha."
Nothing. It was like his mind had been wiped clean of any thoughts.
"I'm sorry Beedrill. Forgive me?"
Beedrill came down and gave Esha a hug, "After all, we're best friends- remember?"
Esha suddenly kinetically grabbed Beedrill and twisted him around, pulling a metal chip from his head. Beedrill slumped to the ground.
"Run!" Esha screamed to Day, and the Arcanine, Eleven.
Eleven howled to the moon, sweeping a long flamethrower that shook pidgeottos from the sky.
"Eleven! Now every pokemon for miles knows where we are!"
Army troops bearing the insignia they all feared.
The star surrounded by fiery snakes.
"I can get us out of this!"
Esha turned around and glared at Eleven, "Don't you dare! You know what happened last time!"
"I must..."
Eleven tilted back her head in defiance of her leader and called to the sky, seeking for the mindlink that would take away her soul.
"Arrrcanine!!!!!"
Arcanine had reverted back to its origins, saving her companions in the sacrifice that any pokemon would think twice before committing.
A dark shape swept out of the night, its shape swallowing up the night in perfect agony, destroying all hopes and dreams of the dreamers.
It was Missingno.
Eleven vanished in a flash, leaving Espeon and Day...
In limbo.
