Chapter Two.
Harry sat at the table feeling very small; This Draco Malfoy guy seemed quite shifty and a very good wizard. Harry started to tuck into the same food as Draco so he didn't look odd. He remembered when he had eaten everything on his plate that he hated beef and roast potatoes, and that humbugs made him sick.
Draco Malfoy seemed to have noticed Harry was copying what he was eating and looked at him strangely. Harry gave a smile back and absentmindedly put a handful of sprouts on his plate and began to eat them.
Draco Malfoy looked at him in an even stranger way and so did the rest of the Slytherins. " I thought they were carrots!" Harry insisted, using the first thing that came into his head. Now he was positive all the Slytherins thought he was mental.
" Come on then Potter!" Draco snapped, after the meal. Two prefects took everyone to the Slytherin common room.
Harry looked around it in amazement. It was deep in the dungeons and it was the most amazing room Harry had ever seen. There were seventeen deep purple velvet sofa's, a thick white carpet, silver and green wallpaper, many sets of wizard chess, and small library and a study hall. The walls were also covered in many painting's of large snakes and statues of Salazar Slytherin. Harry stared in awe.
" Girls dorms on the right boys on the left!" One of the prefects announced.
Harry was wandering around aimlessly touching each object and staring at everything with his eyes popping out. Draco Malfoy approached him like he was a mental patient wishing he had never befriended such a nutcase.
" Lets go to the dorms," Draco whispered, dragging Harry away from a glass vase of lilies magicked purple, red, blue, yellow, pink, green, and every other colour.
The dormitories were even more amazing. Six huge double four poster beds, six closets and shelves there were rugs and posters and it was a really large room. There were three bathrooms and a small pantry.
" Welcome Home!" Draco said, grinning evilly.
