'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through our hall

The refrigerator was smoking, causing holes in our wall

We cowered in our ducky pants, and our many striped hats

When suddenly Gal began to dance!

But hark! What should we hear? Was it a sudden blare?

We looked out our door, and saw our sleepy master standing there

She stumbled into our hall, blanket and all,

As we cowered in fear, hiding under our paws

She yawned and stretched, then began to shout

But by then, we were on our way out

We slammed the door with a clatter and blocked it with our ladder

What could we do? Where did Char and Arcane go?

Only Gal and me(Griff!) remained, to face the upcoming pain

We leaped into our beds, covering our different sized heads

We heard a loud boom and an angry shout, we hoped she wouldn't get out

Then suddenly!

The door knob started to turn ever so slowly

I jumped to Gal and dragged out of her bed, though she did kick me in the head

We scrambled to the open window, with pillows in hand

Though we would be no matched against our master and her frying pan

I looked out the window and prepared to jump

But wait! What was that? Could it a loud thump?

Gal looked upward and did she see?

Two Neopets drinking whiskey!

Oh, wait, those were our odd neighbors and their crazy sisters

I looked up instead, and saw Char and Arcane's overlarge heads!

They were munching on candy and gingerbread men!

I laughed when I saw what they wore, Santa hats and big red pants

The door suddenly opened with a mighty boom

Then her frying pan came flying across the room

Gal shrieked and jumped for a rope

Dear Lord, was it made out of soap?

I looked out and up, seeing Gal safely eating candy

The only problem was…I wasn't just fine and dandy!

My master approached, her eyes ablaze with crimson flame

I cringed and let out a small exclaim

Suddenly remembering a vital factor

I jumped out the window and fell like a tractor

I opened my wings and started to sway, then I ran into a sleigh!

A jolly old man dressed in red sat upon sled
A wink of his eye and a twist of his breaded head,
Soon let me to know that I had nothing to dread.

With a shout, he was gone, only a memory in my head

I glided down to the roof, where sat my pack

They were still eating all their yummy snacks

I slumped down with a sigh of relief

I spoke, "Well, at least we're safe!"

We all shivered and trembled because it was cold

Oh, how we all wished it hadn't snowed!

Then we heard a crackle, "You spoke to soon!"

As the others cowered, I challenged the crackle with my plastic spoon

Our master wandered onto the roof, bundled in coats

She suddenly shouted, "Hey wait…where's my boats!?"

She did a merry little dance

So we decided to give her another chance

And here ends our tale of Neopets and Christmas

Now remember don't make a mess

Or else your odd neighbors and they're sisters

Will steal all your gifts!
