Am I invisible or what?
Harper was bored so he decided to wander round the ship and see what the others were up to. Just as he stepped out his quarters he saw Tyr go running by, "Hey Tyr" he called but he was already gone. Oh well thought Harper plenty more fish on this ship, and headed onwards.
Next Harper made his way up to command, there was always action going on there he reasoned. The doors to command slid open to reveal Dylan and Rommie deep in conversation "Remember that time when..."Rommie said "How could I forget when." Dylan replied "Hey guys what you talking about?" Harper asked "Yes that was rather amusing" Andromeda added "Yea Beka couldn't stop laughing." Dylan cut in seemingly oblivious to Harper presence as was Rommie. "Err guys" tried Harper again only to be drowned out by laughter. No fun here though Harper and headed on to find Trance.
Trance was in hydroponics talking to her plants as she watered them "Hey Trance, what a hand?" called Harper but Trance never heard him and continued talking to her plants. "Hey got no time to spare for the Harper genius extraordinaire?" Harper tried again only to drown out himself by knocking over a pot, which smashed into tiny pieces on the floor. Oh crap! Thought Harper and decided to make a quick exit before he was named as the culprit.
"Andromeda" Harper called "Were is Beka?" No answer; this was by now not surprising.
Harper found Beka on the Mauru she had headphones on which were blasting out load rock music she had a flexi in her hand which she was bent over intently studying. "Hey Boss what you up to?" Called Harper loudly over the music; no response he tried again this time waving a hand in front of her "Hey Beka anybody home?" Beka never looked up from her flexi, and Harper's efforts were wasted.
Disheartened Harper headed back to his quarters deciding instead that perhaps his own company was best; he mumbled to himself not so quietly on the way back "Am I invisible or what?"
Harper reached his quarters and stepped in muttering "Home sweet home" a second later he hit the ground having tripped on an old sparky can; Harper jumped to his feet moaning "I'm really going to have to tidy this place some time soon." Harper spotted his bed amongst the junk that filled his room "Hey bed what's that I hear you say, come lay down and go to sleep. I think I might just do that; maybe my dreams will talk to me 'Hey Harper how ya been?' 'Very good my nightly apparition how are you?' Harper mutter absently to himself.
Just then Andromeda's hologram flashed into existence "Who are you talking to Harper?" she said, but Harper continued muttering to himself, completely oblivious to her presence.
Andromeda winked out of existence and re-materialised in hydroponics with Trance; "Trance I'm very worried about Harper, I think he may be delusional" the hologram stated a note of concern in her voice; "He seems to think he's invisible and is currently in his quarters engaged in a conversation with himself."
Trance laughed at that and headed of to Harper's quarters to see what was the matter with her favourite engineer and resident genius.
