I don't own anything related to csi. I translated this story from Dutch to English and belongs to Brigit Kaandorp.

The trouble with time.

If I had known that raising a child would be so difficult I never would have got one.

He is very sweet you know blue eyes, he almost never cries. But I don't have time for my self anymore.

Before we had Dylan and I wanted to go some were I got my coat my car and I was off. But now it takes half a day before I even get in the car.

Like for example: taking a shower.

First I get Dylan ready and then I go and take a shower.

But when I'm standing there with shampoo in my hair I hear a big bang coming for his bedroom and a loud cry for help.

I ran out of the shower and start looking for him but I can't see anything because of al the soup in my eyes, so by accident I step on his hand.

"OOwwhh" they all felt sorry for the little boy when she said that.

You know what he did? He pulled a draw out of his closet right on top of his face. And because of al the commotion, Gil wakes up and is now standing in the doorway asking if I needed any help. I lie to him that I have every thing under control. He looks at me in disbelief but goes to bed anyway. So taking that shower took about 30 to 45 minutes, see what I mean.

What to think about breakfast.

Before I had Dylan it took about 5 minutes but now 30 to 45 minutes.

He is during breakfast busy with looking round the living room he does everything except eating.

So with force I try to put something in his mouth but he doesn't want it and by accident he troughs over his cup with milk, and while I'm cleaning up the breakfast table he found a glass of wine on the living room table from the night before and is pouring it over his head.

So back up stairs to redress him and then he wants to walk on his own down the stairs. Every thing goes ok until those last 2 steps where Gil put his briefcase and he falls over it right on top of his face, so off course he starts crying as hell and Gil comes running down the stairs "What is going on her?". I jell at him that he mustn't put his briefcase on the stairs and send him back to bed.

Oh yeah, then his teddy bear falls in the toilet so the hole bear is covered in a brown a smelly liquid, and even more because he tried to wipe it off . So I have to change him again, then I have to clean the bear so I think' I hang the bear out side to dry', but that is not aloud that hurts the ears of the bear. Then I think 'I put him on the heater but am not aloud because that hurts the bottom off the bear. So before that bear is settled on chair in a towel next to the heater with a bandage on his ear 30 to 45 minutes have past.

So when you think you are finely ready to leave Dylan needs something that I haven't seen for day so we start searching and after 5 minutes we found it but then I lost my keys.

He likes that game looking where I just looked and then after 20 minutes I discover he put them in his own coat.

I look at the clock and see that it is already 13.00 while I had to be there at 10.00 so I gave up.

Next time I let Gil take him he is more relaxed then me and has more control over Dylan.

"So when is the next baby coming?" Nick teased.

"Never, I can't handle even one!" Sara said to the rest in the break room.

The end.
