Disclaimer: We don't own anything coming out of Harry Potter, and the only parts of this story we do own are the parts our imagination created, and Tianna and Tierney. If you have any objections, deal with it.

A/N: Welcome to the wonderful world of Hogwarts, heh ^^. This chapter is in the Point of View of Tianna Jamieson. Read, Enjoy and Review. Here it is, folks!

Prologue

Why haven't I grasped the concept of packing lightly yet? What an idiot I was to think that I would need three types of soap for my first year at Hogwarts. Well, not really my first year studying as a witch, but my fifth.

My father's job was relocated from New York to England this year, so I kind of had to move here with them, since I'm not old enough to live on my own yet. The only problem with all this is that I was one of the most popular girls at my last school, Heartwing.

Anyway, I was hauling my large, overly packed bags up to the station, and loaded them onto my cart. I hugged and kissed my mum and dad goodbye, then proceeded into the station. I waved goodbye to them before turning back to the station.

I looked around as I pushed the cart towards the number nine and ten, and sighed. "How is it possible that there is a platform 9¾ when there is nothing in-between nine and ten?" I sighed, thinking for a moment, and in my frustration, kicked the pole in-between platform nine an ten, and I swore I could see it pass through. I kicked it again, and sure enough, it did pass right through the pole. I smirked and placed my hands on my hips, smiling smugly.

"Well, well, well. Who's a genius?" I said, and checked for anyone looking before pushing my cart through the pole into platform 9¾. I gasped and looked around; surprised that such a large platform could fit in a pole that separated two others. "Well, that's the wonderful world of magic," I muttered to myself, then paused as I saw at least a thousand Hogwarts students loading on the Hogwarts Express.

I shook my head, took my carry-on and left my other bags with the train attendants. I smiled as I spotted a good-looking boy in line to get on the train, which looked to be about my age. He had brown hair and deep green eyes, and wore a pair of round-lensed glasses. I stepped up beside him and his friend, a red-haired boy about the same age.

"Hi. I'm Tianna Jamieson, and I'm kind of new to Hogwarts, would you mind if I stuck with you two for a bit?" I gave them the brightest smile I could muster.

"Um, sure." The boy with the brown hair replied, and he turned to me. He blushed slightly, and the other boy did the same.

"And you would be?"

"Harry, I'm Harry. Harry Potter. This is Ron Weasley." He gestured to his friend.

"My goodness, is that really Harry Potter?" I asked rhetorically, a smirk spreading across my face. I touched his forehead and lifted his hair, smiling once again when I saw the scar. I let his hair fall back into place. "Well, it is, isn't it?" I put my hand out to shake both of the boy's hands, "Nice to meet you, Ron Weasley and Harry Potter." I turned back to the train and climbed up the steps.

We made our way down the tight passage, and found a nearly empty cabin. A girl with curly red hair, about my age as well, looked up at us as I asked if we could sit with her. She nodded and said, "Of course."

I then introduced myself, and she said her name was Tierney. We sat down, and waited for the train and our fifth year at Hogwarts to begin.

A/N: Now your turn, Tierney.
