Chapter two

It was the morning of September first and Hermione was waiting for Draco at the entrance of the platform. She glanced down at her watch again for the 5th time in 3 minutes. "Where in the world is he?" she mumbled to herself as she cast her gaze across the crowd.

Suddenly she was distracted as she saw a red headed girl jump up and down in the sea of people. "Hermione," Ginny shouted as she came nearer.

"Hermione! Do you know what day it is? He's finally coming back. Oh I can't wait, can you?" she said in one breath and had to stop and had to stop and breathe before continuing on.

Hermione was amazed at how much this girl talked. She had always thought it was just a stage but this just proved that she wasn't always right about everything.

Just then Ginny's words began to sink in. 'How in the world could I have forgotten,' she repeated over and over in her head. 'Of course Harry was coming back to school today.' She mentally kicked herself.

Ginny seemed to have noticed the look of shock on Hermione's face. For some reason she seemed to think it was funny and began cracking up. "Oh Hermione I'm sorry." She said between giggles "It's just that you looked so funny."

But Hermione wasn't listening instead she was looking around the sea of people again for Draco. All words that Ginny had said were forgotten as she quickly glanced around the platform.

That's when she saw him, standing around a group of people, seemingly the center of attention. She quickly walked over there to see what the commotion was about and to back up her best friend but once she got there and turned to see who they were fighting she noticed the bright green eyes of there competitor.
