The Greater Power

Prologue
The world is full of mystical things: Demons, spirits, mortals, immortals, and gods. But this story isn't about what this world is filled with. It's about a power that anyone would give their very soul to posses. For this reason, this power was intrusted in a child, a child that will never age. But there is more to it than that for this child was once a powerful god. The god that gave its very body and soul in order to protect it from the greed of mortals. But that still didn't stop from people trying to take it for themselves. Soon even the highest of gods started to long for its power, thus a battle begun. The results were terrible the world having to suffer earthquakes, tidal waves, tornadoes. But for odd reasons, fire the greatest off all disasters was rarely involved, but when it came it was massive and changed history each appearances. Soon more creatures started to appear. The gods started making minions such as Shadow and Lighting. Soon the mortals started to fight back and they made their own god, the god of Technology. The fight grew longer and harder. All trying to gain the power they sought, but one day the child that carried the power disappeared into a different realm where fate has sadly brought that realm into the battle of gods.
