Prologue: In the Beginningā¦The school of the Warring States, as creatively called, was the brainchild of the Great Demon of the Western lands. It was the concern of Lord Inutaisho, when he had mingled with the mortals, to put culture and sophistication among the demons under his ruling. Alas, this expectation proved to be too lofty for a very large percentage of the youkai population was considered beyond illiterate. Conversations usually come into a series of growls, shrieks and noises that fall along the lines of: 'let's mate', 'let's fight','I'm hungry' and ' you die'. Either that or creatures would be reduced to incoherent mumblings in the presence of the gigantic White Dog looming over them and talking intimidating long words.
In the end, the Great Demonic Dog was tad pissed. He sat in the middle of his domain and threw a temper tantrum.
" BUILD ME A SCHOOL OR I WILL EAT ALL OF YOU!!!"
The earth trembled in the deafening roar of the Great Demon.
There was a long stretch of silence, then the youkais, spirits and even humans scampered out of their hiding places and proceeded to appease the Great Demon. The Great White Dog watched in amusement as his minions laid down the foundation, filled it with wood, stones and concrete, and in a very fast pace, created the building right before his eyes.
When the construction was finished, Lord Inutaisho came down into his human form and admired the handiwork from a different point of view.
Like a decorative bow to a birthday present, an inauguration ribbon was tied on the two ends of the open school gate and with a bit of flair, Lord Inutaisho cut it with his sharp claws.
' Ah the perks of being an overlord.'
After acquiring the faculty, staff, directors, and other people who are willing to handle the nitty-gritty details, the Great Demon of the Western Lands encouraged youkais to send their children to school.
Word of the day:
Encourage:[en'ko-rij]
Do it or elseā¦
