Note: The poem in the fic is mine and was written just for this fic, though I don't know if I want to take credit for it. I am NOT a poet. I understand nothing of poem structures, I wrote it because it sounded kind of nice. Heh so it doesn't do any good to try and correct me since I wouldn't know how to fix it.
This is an older fic written a while ago, thought I'd post it for you folks on FF.Net. It has some small revisions from the version posted to the lists.

Moonlight spilled through gossamer curtains, illuminating the darkened bedroom in it's silvery light. Duo sat, propped against the headboard of the bed he shared with his sleeping lover, a pad of paper on his lap, he wrote silently, using the moonlight to light up the page.
//My dragon's heart beats true
His wild emotions tempered by
The greatest love and the oldest sorrow
My dragon flies free and high
His path is clear and he never strays
Knowing it leads the way home
My dragon lovingly embraces death
He slumbers peacefully in my arms
And sighs, "I love you."//
"Go to sleep Duo." Wufei mumbled drowsily.
Duo set the poem aside and slid down into the bed, immediately Wufei's arms came around him, drawing him closer.
Duo smiled and brushed ebony locks of hair back from his beloveds face. He slid his arms around Wufei, settling the sleepy dragon on his shoulder. Wufei's eyes drifted open, softened by sleep, gazing up at Duo before closing them again with a sighed, "I love you."
