"Dark Side of the Shadow" By Shadow Bakura
This is a one shot poem I wrote about Ryou and Bakura's sort of shaky bond. ?_?
I am the dark side of the shadow The dark of darkness' shine I'm a thief, a killer, a spirit And I inhabit a young boy's mind Where did I come from? What do I want?
I'm not even sure.
My emotions are tied up in knots I seem cruel, emotionless How can you say that When you don't even know my name?
My life was in shreds And then I found you I wanted to be kind But only my darkness showed thru I'm imprisoned in your spirit,
I live off of your fears Please someone help me I wish I could dry your tears What if I could change? Would my soul be stronger? Is strength all that important? My spirit has that hunger All my life is for Is to have ultimate power But can an emotion so pure Be something that will take over?
I can't, I won't! I want to get away With so much pride inside me There isn't any other way
Ryou, please don't do this! Don't shatter my little hope! If you break the Ring. Do you really hate me so? I'll change, I will! I'll do anything for you! Just don't take my soul For I am hungry for what you have Teach me how to be what you want I'll change just like that!
Our souls may be divided But we are one.
