Artemis's Plaything

Author's Note: I'm not sure what possessed me to write this but I did! It's a Remus poem and it kinda rhymes...I tried my best! *Pouts quietly* Enjoy and be sure to review! ^_^

Day and Night, East and West

Two lines never to meet

Are these things as meaningless as the sand beneath my feet?

I love her with a dear heart

But will she even look at me?

Or am I the one's who's far to smart?

She walks by and I feel myself gasp

Her gaze is right at me

My voice is rasp

I try to talk but I can't

I try to look at her but eyes warn me

I try to touch her but I shan't

For I am a monster

A blood-thirsty monster, that should never be loved

My love is Artemis

And I am her plaything

A soulless toy that doesn't deserve a kiss

I cannot be free

This is how it must always be.
