???
I've lost you.
It's been a long
time
since I've had such a
feeling of losing
someone I love.
But I know it,
smell it the way
a dog recognizes its
master - No
matter how long its
master has left.
And I'll miss you when
you go
remember you
when you return,
But
most of all
love you nonetheless.

I really have no idea what title to give this poem, so all you reviewers out there! GIMME AN IDEA!!!
This poem was one of those things which really came to me suddenly (literally: when I was sitting in the car waiting for my cousin to buy lotto tickets, I wasn't allowed to go in because I was under 18. hmmm, makes you wonder how old I am right? ^__________^) I really loved writing this piece because it was one of the easiest things to write. I didn't know who it was for, or WHAT it was for, but after rereading the entire poem, it really made me think of Hiko Seijuro losing Kenshin isn't it? As much as he seems so macho on the outside, refusing to admit how much he cares for Kenshin, we all -know- that he is genuinely concerned for his 'baka deshi'. So here's to Hiko-sama, love him all you want, we already know you do.
