The Living Daylights

What are "The Living Daylights"? Ask your friends, family, teachers, and neibors, and their reply , after some thought, might be wits or some bodily excreetment, or the ever-likely 'I don't know'. The phrase "Sacred the Living Daylights out of them" has worked it's way into our vocabulary.
In the distant future, when man has set out to live in the icy blackness between the Earth and the moon, the world lived in a time of uneasy peace and bearly subdued rebellion. As is want in uncertan times, five elete solders arose from the otherwise pacifist coloney citizens, as reataliation for the supression of the coloneys. In this time of war and terror, a young woman arose and took center stage, shoking the population with her earnest pacificstic views. She, together with the marter's death of the charismartic leader of many solders from Earth, brought peace to the Earth and coloneys. However, less than a year later, there was yet another coup de tauh, making it seem that war would forever grip the earth-sphere. Again the five elete solders rose to defend the new peace they had fought and sacricficed so much for, and two other solders of note, one thought dead with his friend and leader, and his beloved. To defend their new world, Vice Minister Dorlan, the pacifist, called the people to battle as the few elet were not enough. . . renouncing her stictly pacifistic ways, saying that everyone must fight to obtain as well as keep both freedom and peace. The people responded, scilenceing their would-be tyarnts. All seemed to return to normal, as the solders faded into shadow, once again intangable.
Only two years afterward Vice Forgin Minister Relena Dolan was kidnapped, leaving no trace behind, never heard from again. . .
Now in the year After Coloney 203, an Earth resident by the name of John Delu has begun to use his powerful force to influence and eventually take over the earth-sphere. The Preventers, a force meant to maintain unity and balence among those in power in the Earth and space have requested the help of the five elete solders; the Gundam pilots, in taking down Delu. Such is nearly impossible at this time, for lawfully he has done no wrong. The first Gundam pilot has been enlisted as a spy to gather evidence against him. However, opposing the comblined force of the pilots and the Preventers are the mysterous personal guard of John Delu- The Living Daylights; a force so terrifing, no person of John Delu will betray him for fear of excution at their hands.
