In a dark room, Ozpin can be seen standing in the middle of the room with several large screens floating in front of him. The meeting of the Vale council is always a bit troublesome as the council would assemble these meetings and make a decision that is always questionable to Ozpin and always question Ozpin's actions. But this time, Ozpin called this meeting because an old friend has found a breakthrough that will be beneficial to the safety of Vale, even the whole four kingdoms.
"This better be important Ozpin."
"I assure you this meeting would be beneficial to us," Ozpin stated, drinking from his favorite mug. "Recently a colleague of mine has come to a breakthrough in his research, and I believe that this very same research can protect the citizen of vale from the Grimm, including those that are from an isolated area and dare I say, all over the four kingdoms."
Hearing such a bold statement from a man known to always give cryptic messages, all four council members could not help but curious as to what is the research in question would contribute. A moment of silence, as the council members are weighing the statement. A few whispers and grunts could be heard being exchanged between the councilmen, and a decision has been made.
"Very well, proceed."
"Of course, may I introduce Dr. Peter Tezla."
The door opened and walking into the room would an older man with silver side-swept hair, a goatee, purple sunglasses, and a purple suit, but the most noticeable thing about Dr. Tezla would be the silver exoskeleton that he wore over his suit. With each step, the exoskeleton would emit a subtle whirling noise of machines.
"Greetings, may I reintroduce myself. I am Dr. Peter Tezla and I have discovered a new prospect of travels that can be used to dispatch huntsmen with little to no time wasted."
"Interesting, and pray to tell how is this possible?"
"I have discovered a phenomenon that happened by using a combination of gravity and hard-light dust creating a portal that allows vehicles such as cars and motorcycles to teleport when they achieve a speed exceed of 300 miles per hour or roughly 483 kilometers per hour and by calculating the frequency I can assign the coordinate to where these portals will teleport to"
Ozpin gave Tezla a small remote, a click, and screens began to light up behind them to show a small floating drone in a middle of a green field recognized as the island of Patch. The drone's light turns green as an even smaller drone appear from behind and began creating a large arc. A small purple and green static appear to connect the drones as the arc began to emit a blue void in the middle arc. A white car with purple windows appears and accelerates to the portal. As soon as the car reaches the portal, blue flames began to appear on the wheels and began to vibrate as a white glow surrounds as it sucks the vehicle into the portal.
Another screen appears and it shows from the car's perspective before it reaches the portal, the same light appears surrounding the car and driver. Entering the portal, the driver only sees an instant of light surrounding the car blinding what is happening outside before the light diminishes to reveal that they are at Vacuo dessert.
All the councilmen are in awe of what they are seeing.
"As everyone can see, the car had safely teleported from a grassland of Patch to the desert of Vacuo in an instant" Tezla summarizes.
"As impressive as this is, from what you have said only land vehicles that does this, why?"
"The reason would be" Tezla click another button to reveal another screen showing the same video of the portal but this time with a bullhead, as the tip of the wings cover in blue flames and a white glow surrounded the bullhead, it began to shake violently and when the bullhead enter the portal and reappear at the other side, the pilot loses control of the bullhead as it spinning wildly before the pilot eject himself and saw the aircraft crashed. "While it is possible for aircraft to use the teleporter, the energy from the portal seems to be reacting violently with those without the assistance of the ground to gain stability, until I can come up with a way or stabilize the teleportation for aircraft to safely travel, it is restricted to ground vehicles momentarily."
With that explanation, the councils are satisfied with that answer.
"I have also created two squads that specialized in this new way of travel, with a command center to overseas missions," Tezla says. This piqued the interest of the councils and Ozpin as he did not hear of this before.
"Would you show us these squads Dr. Tezla?" Ozpin asked.
"Most certainly," another press of a button as the two screens showing the portal disappears and three screens took their place. Tezla points to the right screen showing a maroon red with black accent car, the engine protruding from the hood, in front of the car stood a muscular African American with green eyes and black spiky hair. He has thick eyebrows, sideburns, and a goatee. He wears a red tank top with a cut tire tread on his shoulders, vest-style. He wears dark green jeans and heavy-duty metal boots and gloves. His left eyebrow has a small scar, and he wears golden earrings. He has the Metal Maniacs logo tattooed on his left arm. Behind him is a small group with the same aesthetic.
"Meet the Metal Maniacs, led by Tork Maddox, specialized in strength and durability. Perfect against strong Grimm and protection of the citizen. Equipped with a steel ramming blade, hard light and steel shield, and steel wheel protection."
On the screen next to it, a young Hispanic man with chin-length black hair and brown eyes. He wears an orange and blue jacket, white undershirt, dark blue jeans, and blue shoes. He wears a golden T Necklace, which has a piece broken off. Beside him is a blue all-terrain buggy with the number 7 at the side and blue neon light at the bottom. Behind stood several people with similar clothing and logo.
"Next would be the Teku, led by Nolo Pasaro, who specialized in speed and control. Search and rescue, Grimm control, along with high-end computers within their car for technological warfare. These cars have jump jets, a small drone to observe from above, and multi-adapt wheels."
The last screen shows two people, one is a young woman with dark brown hair, dark brown lipstick, brown eyes, and earrings working on a car. She wears a light blue tank top, with grayish blue overalls and blue shoes. She wears light blue arm guards and an armband on her right arm. Next to her shows a familiar yellow-haired blue-eyed tall young man, wearing a white shirt and blue overalls tied around his waist. He wears black gloves, maintains the command center, and gives orders.
"lastly would be the command center, our mechanic Lani Tam, and our operator and commander Jaune Arc. With all of them, I have named this group of people, the Acceleracers."
Somewhere in an undisclosed area where the HQ of the Acceleracers is located. Within the command center room, Jaune reclined in front of the console with a comic of X-ray and Vav resting on his face, slight snoring can be heard from the young man sleeping.
The door to the command center opened to reveal Lani and Karma, one of the drivers from the Teku, walking in to see Jaune sleeping.
"He's been pushing himself again didn't he?" Karma says shaking her head as if this was a common occurrence.
"Yeah, Monkey had asked him to help with his new Nitrox 3 and a half. Not to mention Dr. Tezla ask Jaune to calibrate the portals." Lani replied as she walked toward Jaune as shook him lightly to wake him up. "Jaune, wake up, it's not healthy to sleep here."
Slowly with a groan, Jaune opens his eyes to see Lani with Karma beside her. "Angels, what time is it?" Lani's face began to resemble a tomato while Karma only shows a small smile and a subtle blush.
"Well love, it's already past six," Karma replied still having a smile. "Come on you big idiot, let's go to bed."
"Alright, just let me..."
Before Jaune can finish his sentence, a loud blaring alarm covers the base as the screen began to light up showing the location of the emergency. Vacuo. Jaune immediately goes to the console and began to analyze the location and threat. Lani follows Jaune as she sat beside him turning on the screen showing the text 'input drivers'.
"Vacuo, mostly desert, far from other colonies, a few small deathstalker, creeps, huh a beringel but those don't live in this environment,"
Looking behind him, Karma still standing waiting, with a nod Jaune goes to the mic. "The following drivers will be dispatched, Pork Chop, Taro Kitano, Shirako Takamoto, Kurt Wylde, and Karma Eiss."
Turning around, Jaune smiled and nod his head. "Be careful okay, Ice Fairy?" Karma just leans down and gives a small peck on the lip with a small blush before going out.
Lani just giggles at the sight. "Can't believe you manage to melt her heart?" Jaune just chuckled back.
"Me neither, what did both of you see in me anyway Greasy Monkey?" Jaune replied using Lani's pet name on her as she blushes, with a pout, and continued monitoring the cars.
With a chuckle, Jaune went back to the mic. "The threats are a small colony of baby deathstalker, a few creeps, and two beringels. Proceed with caution, the teleporter on duty are Taro and Kurt. Acceleracers, Good luck."
The sound of the car's engine roaring in the base as they begin accelerating to the portal, inputting the coordinates. One by one enter the portal. When all the drivers have been teleported, Jaune looks at Lani as she nods before pressing a purple button on the console. The floor opens in the middle of the base as a platform rise revealing a white and purple car it activates its cloaking device before accelerating to the portal.
