The Amulets

Chapter 1: The shadow demons of the box of darkness
"Master, I'm tired of waiting, when will someone discover our box of darkness?"
"Soon, my dear friend, soon"
"But when will 'soon' come? When will I finally use someone else's body? When will I-?"
"Are you really that impatient, my friend? Well, I guess I can't blame you, I've been waiting for a body myself too, but yapping about a body won't give you anybody's body, you understand?"
"Yes, master."
"Good, the sooner someone discovers our box, the sooner we'll find a holder."
"And, the sooner we'll have the whole world to ourselves."
"Oh yes, speaking of which, why not have the whole universe? What good is having the world than having the entire universe, right?"
"Right, but what will we do with the universe? What evil power will we bring towards space itself?"
"What is more powerful than any other organ in the human body?"
"The... Heart?"
"Kind of... But the correct answer is a human's mind, remember that old saying? Knowledge is power?"
"Yes, master, but how will we be able to bring mind powers to one's brain?"
"With these amulets, of course."
"Amulets?"
"Yes, my friend, allow me to demonstrate, when these amulets are worn by anybody on the planet earth, they will become possessed. Not only will they be under our total control, but they will become something more powerful than us shadows demons."
"Even powerful than you?"
"Surprisingly, yes."
"Hehe, this plan will be the best one yet! Oh, I really can't wait for a body of my own! Not to mention giving them powers."
"Hehe, me neither."
"Huh?! What was that noise?!"
Yogi woke up with shock while looking around his room.
"Boo-Boo, wake up! I-I heard the noises again!"
Boo-Boo rolled over with an exhausted face on him, as he stared at his friend with blurry vision in his eyes.
"Ugh, Yogi, what time is it? And why are you-?"
"Boo-Boo, I heard the noises again! I actually heard them! Please, you have to belie-!"
"Yogi, how many times did I have to tell you that it's just the wind?"
"Boo-Boo, I'm being serious!"
"Yogi! Just. Stop! Ok?! I'm tired of hearing your 'I heard the noises again' story!"
"Boo-Boo, this is not a story! I'm telling the truth!"
Both bears started arguing, their voices rose with every sentence that was given by one another.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here? Two close friends fighting?"
"Duh, what do you think they're doing?"
"My friend, this is it! This is the guy-or bear, who will discover our box of darkness! As long as we keep making noises, he'll come and find out where our box is hiding."
"Right, master."
The two bears continued their brawl.
"Ya know what? I've had enough of you! I'm tired of your stories, Yogi! I'm beginning to think that you're just a crazy, stupid bear who's just hearing noises while he's in bed! I don't even know why I'm friends with you!!"
Yogi stared at Boo-Boo, tears nearly filling his eyes, he never knew that his best friend could be that cruel to him, they thought of that made him burst into tears.
"Y-Yogi?"
Before Boo-Boo could say anything else to him, Yogi immediately ran out the front door and disappeared into the woods.
"Wha-! Yogi, Wait! I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-!"
The door slammed into the cub's face, causing his nose to bleed. He groaned with pain as he pulled himself up and sluggishly walked over to his bed.
"Yogi..."
Boo-Boo whispered to himself, "I'm sorry, please, come back."
He laid down with sorrow as tears made its way through his eyes. For a moment, all was silent, until small sobs escaped the cub's throat.
"Yogi, c-come back, p-please... I-I'm sorry..."
"There he is my friend, a lonely bear who's got no one but himself."
"I almost feel kinda bad for him, but we're gonna possess him, right?"
"No, why would we need to possess an unintelligent bear?"
"I don't know, but, don't you want him to have mind powers?"
"Of course not, I only want him to discover our box, first, we'll introduce ourselves, then, we ask him questions, finally, he'll take us to whoever he's friends with, sounds like a plan?"
"Yes, master."
Sobs escaped from the bear, he felt heartbroken, sad, and alone.
"W-Why would...B-Boo-Boo s-say something l-like that? W-Why?"
Yogi started to become angry.
"W-Why did I-I have t-to believe something t-that wasn't r-real?! D-Damn it! W-Why did I h-have to believe i-in something t-that wasn't real?!"
"Oh, Yogi, you have every right to believe in us~"
Yogi gasped. "W-Wha-?! Who said that?!"
"WE DID."
A look of shock and surprise registered on Yogi's face, he couldn't believe at what he was seeing. "I-I was right!"
"That's right, Yogi, you were right. You were right all along."
"And your other friend was wrong!"
"Quiet, idiot!"
"Sorry, master."
Yogi spoke while wiping his tears from his face. "Who are you guys?"
"Can't ya tell? We're shadows demons! I'm the master/Leader, Lucifer"
"And I'm Behemoth, Lucifer's shadow assistant."
"Thank you, Behemoth..."
"Wait, how do you two know my name?"
"That's simple Yogi," spoke Lucifer."We're psychic. We can read your mind, well, I'm mostly the one who does the mind reading." He said as he smiled.
"We need you to do us a favor, Yogi," Behemoth exclaimed."Please, follow us!" Immediately, Behemoth took off in a flash.
"Hey! Wait for me you brainless shadow!" Lucifer yelled from behind.
"Hey! Don't forget about me!" Yogi yelled while following the shadow demons.
End of chapter 1
EEEEEEEEE!!!! I'm finally getting started on 'The Amulets' story!!
So, yeah, about this chapter, I decided to change up Yogi's role on being kind of villainous, don't worry, the fun part is coming in chapter 2... Probably, I an't promising. :\
Writing the first chapter was not fun... I had trouble on what the characters were gonna say, what sentence made sense, it's basically English homework all over again! D:
The shadow demons, Lucifer and Behemoth, are the main antagonists in this story, other demon characters are gonna come in, probably in chapter 2.
Oh! And one other thing, 'The Amulets' story is taking place in the Yogi's Ark Lark universe. :D
Can't wait to write more about this story! :3
