A/N: This story was an idea from MsShadowsOra on my story Forgiveness! This is a kind of sequel to that story. It ties together with all of my other Next Generation and After Hogwarts stories. Those stories include Just James and 12 Days of Christmas Dursleys which I will be releasing soon! The current ages of the Potters are James 7th year, Albus 6th year and Lily 4th year. And bonus fact my stories are mostly canon except Carrie Wood and Tyler Wood live with the Potters. Happy reading!

Madeleine Dursley was sitting by her window reading. Her mother, Amanda was cooking supper for her and her eight year old brother, Daniel. Her dad, Dudley was currently at work but would soon be on his way home.

Madeleine lived at 4 Privet Drive. Her grandparents had moved out two years prior and were now spending their time in a retirement home. Madeleine loved her home but always got an unnerving feeling when she was near the cupboard under the stairs.

She was broken out of her thoughts as she heard a car door slam.

"Daddy!" Madeleine exclaimed and dashed towards her bedroom door.

She ran down the stairs past her brother and mother. Her blonde hair flowing behind her.

She opened the door to find her father looking through the mail.

"Daddy, come in!" she exclaimed gesturing him through the door.

He walked in, his eyes locked on a certain letter. When Madeleine tried to peek at whatever had him captured in thought he pulled it away and hid it from her.

"Amanda, I'm going upstairs," Dudley called nervously.

"Okay honey. Just be down for supper," she said.

Dudley nodded, still in a gaze.

Madeleine watched as her father walked up the stairs and slammed the door to his bedroom.

Meanwhile the Potters we're having a lovely day. It was August first, a month before the Potter children and Carrie Wood would be going to Hogwarts. Carrie was James's girlfriend and the Potter's goddaughter. She had lived with them alongside her older brother since their parents had died.

Harry Potter was sitting with his wife, Ginny looking over the school supply list for the upcoming year. James was watching a muggle movie with his girlfriend. And Albus and Lily were talking to each other about prefect duties as Lily had just found out she would be a Gryffindor prefect.

"Dad!" Albus called. "The muggle phone is ringing!"

Harry thought that it was very peculiar, since no one contacted them that way. Harry walked over and picked it up.

"Hello," Harry said to the stranger on the telephone.

"Hi Harry," Dudley said.

"Dudley? Is that you?" Harry asked.

The last time he had spoken with his cousin was a week after James and him had seen him in the park. After that they never spoke again.

"Yes Harry. I need your help," Dudley asked gulping.

Harry listened with curiosity and then said, "With what?"

"My daughter. Today she got a letter in the mail from that magic school you went to. Harry, she's a witch," Dudley said, worry evident in his voice.

Harry's eyes widened at Dudley's words. "My family and I can be over tomorrow."

"Okay. We live on Privet Drive," Dudley said. "You know the way."

"See you then, Big D," Harry said ending the conversation.

The two cousins hung up. And Harry Potter was left alone with his thoughts.

Harry piled the Potter clan into his car. They knew that they couldn't apparate or they would probably give the Dursleys heart attacks.

When the Potters arrived Harry went up to ring the doorbell. But to his surprise a girl with short dark blonde hair opened the door. She had familiar blue eyes and a warm smile. She looked about ten or eleven years old.

"Who are you?" the girl asked with a bit of an attitude.

"I'm Harry Potter, your dad's cousin," Harry said.

"Dad!" the girl yelled shutting the door.

The Potters had been standing on the sidewalk when suddenly the door opened again.

In the frame stood Dudley, "Hi Harry. Sorry she gets a little odd around strangers."

The two men shook hands.

"It's alright," Harry told him.

The Potters walked through the door and sat on a couch in the living room.

Dudley noticed the awkward silence so he tried to strike a conversation. "So uh who is everyone?"

"I'm Ginny, Harry's wife," she said holding at her hand.

Dudley remembered hearing about her and smiled as he shook her hand.

"I'm James," he said, shrugging a bit.

"This is the James from the park? You have grown," Dudley said, looking at Harry for reassurance.

"Yeah. I'm seventeen now and I'm in my last year at Hogwarts," James told him. Dudley nodded.

"I'm Carrie," she said.

Dudley was confused as he did not remember his cousin having another child besides Albus and Lily.

She saw the confusion, "My parents died when I was younger and my brother and I got sent to live with our godparents. Which are Harry and Ginny. I'm not adopted I just live with them. And plus I will be their daughter one day since I am James's girlfriend."

"I'm Albus. But please call me Al. I'm sixteen," he told him.

"You look exactly like your father," Dudley said, still kind of in shock.

Albus smiled, "I get that a lot."

"I'd say you are even more like dad on the inside," James interjected.

Al looked at James with confusion, "Think about it! You and dad were both considered for Slytherin. You both are way more compassionate than me. You are literally the most loyal guy I know. You have always tried to do the right thing, no matter the cost. And you are always ready to help. Just like dad."

"Thanks, James," he said giving him a hug.

The two brothers didn't normally get along so that moment was really a turning point for them.

"Hello! It's my turn now," Lily said, breaking the scene.

"I am Lily Luna. I'm fourteen and I get comments that I look exactly like my grandmother all of the time," she said.

"Nice to meet you Lily," Dudley said.

He remembered an old picture of his mother's sister with her husband. Dudley looked at Lily and James and remembered the couple in the picture. They looked exactly alike.

The friendly conversation was interrupted by a girl's voice. The Potters and Dudley turned to see the girl who had refused to let them in earlier.

"Madeleine, can you get your mother and Daniel? Once you do please come back, we need to have a little chat," Dudley explained.

Harry watched in shock at Dudley's kind nature. He never would have guessed Dudley to be the fathering type.

"That's my little girl, Madeleine. She got a letter to Hogwarts," Dudley told them. Everyone nodded.

After a few minutes Madeleine came back with a short woman with blonde hair and a boy with the same colored hair as Dudley. They sat on the couch next to Dudley.

"This," Dudley said gesturing to his cousin, "is my cousin, Harry. And this is his family and his goddaughter." Dudley pointed to his own family, "This is my wife, Amanda, my little girl, Madeleine, and my son, Daniel."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Ginny, Harry's wife," she said getting up to shake Amanda's hand.

"I've heard a bit about you all. But Dudley has always been a little secretive on his family," Amanda told her, whispering the last part.

"Hi Madeleine! I love your dress. Oh and my name is Lily," she complimented. Madeleine blushed and smiled.

"I'm James and this is my girlfriend, Carrie," he said gesturing to the two of them.

Madeleine smiled graciously. She was still very confused to why her family had suddenly come to visit.

"I'm Albus," he stated simply.

Madeleine spotted her brother and pulled him over, "This is Daniel. Daniel this is Lily, Albus, James, and Carrie."

"Hi," Daniel waved shyly, "But why are you all here?"

This caught everyone's attention and they all turned. This was going to be hard to explain.

A/N: Okay! I tried my best! This story is probably going to be about 15-20 chapters, more or less. Thank you for reading and please give me ideas! I have NO ideas what to do next. Thanks!
