Sonic The Hedgehog was dashing through the Green Hill Zone, his friend Amy had invited him to go watch the sunset together,
It had been a few months since the war had ended, everything was pretty much back to normal, everyone went back to their normal lives, everyone was happy again,
Although there was only one difference, and that had to do with Amy.
Before the war, Amy chased down Sonic every single day, but afterwards, although she did wave to him and say "hi",
That was it, she didn't chase him or anything, in fat, she started to grow nervous of her crush on him, preferring to keep it a secret, despite the fact that everyone knew it at that point,
The afternoon beforehand, Sonic gotten a text message from Amy, asking if he wanted to see the sunset at the Green Hill Zone, he happily agreed,
After a bit of searching, he found Amy sitting down on a cliff, which had a breathtaking view of the ocean, and the sky
"Hey Amy" Sonic said as he came up to Amy
"Hi Sonic" Amy said, as Sonic sat down beside her
"Wow, the sunset is really beautiful, is it Sonic" Amy said
"Heck yeah" Sonic said
They stared at the sunset for a little bit, and then Sonic decided to break the silence
"Soooo, what have you been doing lately" Sonic said
"Well, you know, i've been hanging out with Cream and Vanilla, doing some shopping, having some girls night outs, all that stuff" Amy said
"That's great n all, but i was more wondering on why you haven't been chasing me these past few months" Sonic said
Amy chuckled
"I know you were gonna ask that sooner or later" Amy said, her face then turned to a serious one
"During the war, i started to wonder if, you and i were really meant to be together, these past few months, i was thinking about it, and i thought this would be the opportunity to say something" Amy said
"Sonic, what do you think of me?" Amy asked Sonic
"Well, you're a pretty cool girl, i'm very happy to have a friend like you" Sonic said
Amy giggled
"That was very sweet Sonic, but i was actually wondering what you thought of me, romantically" Amy said
"Well, to be honest, i don't do romance, i mean, i do like you as a friend, but that's it, just a friend" Sonic said
"That's good" Amy said
"What?" Sonic said
"Well, a few days ago, i finally realized what i really think of you, i think that we are better off as friends, and that's it, nothing else, nothing more, in fact, i not only realized that i'm no longer romantically interested in you, but i'm not romantically interested in men as a whole " Amy said
Sonic was about to say something, but he got cut off by Amy
"During my time thinking about my true feelings for you, i realized that i have, more of a interest in, well, other girls" Amy said
Sonic was to say the least, shocked
"Are you meaning, what i think you're meaning?" Sonic asked Amy
"Yes Sonic, i am a lesbian" Amy told Sonic
Sonic was left staring at her in shock, he then lowered his head
"A-are you ok Sonic?" Amy said worriedly
Sonic then suddenly started to chuckle, then he started to laugh
"Haha, Wow, of all the people i was expecting to go the full L, you are the last person i was expecting, being serious right now, i'm very proud of ya Amy" Sonic said
And to say Amy was overjoyed after hearing those words was a understatement, soon after he said that, she hugged Sonic tightly
"Woah! Coming in hot!" Sonic said
"Thank you Sonic, thank you very much" Amy said to Sonic
"No problem Amy, no problem" Sonic said
Amy layed down on Sonic's lap as the two watched the sunset,
Both of them very happy, especially the now-a-lesbian Amy
