A shot of outer space is seen as the screen lowers to reveal a desert planet, Tatooine. A yellow ship flies past. The ship lands as a figure gets out. He was a tall man in a silver armor made out of an indestructible armor called beskar. He had a wrist mounted flamethrower and grappling hook on his right arm and a whistle bird launcher on his left arm, which shot tiny rockets, all which he wore over two gauntlets. He had two small blasters on his belt in gunholders and a pulse blaster attached to the bandlier sash he wore along with a beskar staff. On his belt, he wore what appeared to be a hilt with no blade, but was really one of his strongest and most mysterious weapons, the darksaber. He wore a jet pack over a cape on his back. He had a silver helmet with a T-shaped visor. This was a man simply known as the Mandalorian, or just Mando to those he trusted. His real name was Din Djarin, though he doesn't go by that name, an orphan rescued by a Mandalorian clan and raised to be one of them. They live by a creed that no living thing shall ever see them without their helmets. He has since made a reputation for himself as a ruthless bounty hunter across the galaxy. That is until he found a new purpose.
Mando scanned the area, making sure no one was around, before reaching in to the back of his ship. "Okay, looks like the coast is clear. You can come on out, kid." Mando said as out came the other rider. Out hopped a small, green being. He was a hair over 1 ft and very light. He had three-fingered hands and two-toed feet. He had big eyes, a tiny nose and mouth, and large, pointed ears. He wore a small robe, with chainmail(a gift from Mando) underneath. His name was Grogu, or simply The Child. He was force sensitive, meaning he was connected to a special energy called the Force. He originally was a bounty Mando had collected, before the two became close and Grogu became a foundling, or young Mandalorian. "Well kid, better see what Boba needs. Right?" Mando asked, getting a coo in response. Mando laughed as he began to carry the little one.
The two began to walk to walk to a castle nearby. There, they were greeted by an Asian woman wearing a black jacket with orange stripes, brown boots, and a sniper rifle across her back. In her hands, she held a black and orange helmet. Her name was Fennec Shand, she was the main partner of Boba Fett after he rescued her from near death. Alongside her, was a 7ft creature that looked like a mixture between a wolfman, gorilla, and Sasquatch, he had pitch black fur, with white fur among his face, and he carried a large gun. His name was Black Krrsantan, a wookie working for Boba. His species' language had no words and only growls and roars that could be understood if you knew the language. "You're late." Fennec said. "Didn't realize there was a time limit." Mando said with an amused tone and a grin, which couldn't be seen through the helmet. Fennec playfully rolled her eyes and motioned him to follow.
Walking in to the throne room, they were greeted by a man in armor similar to Din's, but with a camouflage green color. He had a black shirt underneath his chest piece, black pants with orange knee coverings. Like Mando, he possessed a jet pack and a cape. His helmet was mainly dark green in color with a red visor and, unlike Mando, had an antenna that could help his aim. This was Boba Fett. He used to be the most feared and dangerous bounty hunter in the galaxy, now he rules over a town on Tatooine as a crime lord. "Glad you could make it here, Mando." Boba said, getting a nod from Mando.
"As for why you're here", Boba said as he pulled up a holomap, "We've detected an anomaly somewhere around the edge of the outer rim here." He said as a section of the map glowed red. "Have you figured out what it is yet?" Mando asked curiously. "No, that's why we, or more specifically he, brought you in." Fennec said. "Why hasn't the New Republic investigated it?" Mando asked. Krrsantan gave a roar. "I was afraid you'd say that." Mando said. Boba took off his helmet, revealing a bald, slightly scarred face, as he looked Mando in the eye. "If we don't find out what this is, Mando. It could potentially spell disaster for all of the galaxy." Boba said in a dark tone. "No pressure then." Mando said sarcastically, nodding his head. Grogu was just listening to the conversation, snacking on a fruit. He cutely tilted his head in confusion.
We cut to space as Mando and Grogu are in their ship, while Boba flies in his ship called the Slave I. It was flat on the bottom and could be rotated 90* with the cockpit always faced "up". "Alright Mando, you ready for the jump to hyperspace?" Boba said through the comms. "Ready as all ever be." Mando replied. "Alright. Launching in 3. 2. 1." Boba then said as they entered hyperspace. "This is the way." Din muttered. The stars in front of them began thinning out before revealing a blue tunnel. "Kid, You okay back there?" Mando asked his foundling, getting an affirmative coo in response.
Before either could do anything else, an alarm blared. "Boba! What's wrong?!" Mando asked, urgently. "I don't know! My systems are going crazy!" Boba responded. Grogu hummed in warning. "Kid, what is it?" Mando asked as Grogu pointed in front of them. Mando looked to see a strange purple blob, like a black hole, in front of them. "Boba, you seeing this?" Mando said in astonishment. "I am. Looks like we found our anomaly." Boba confirmed. "More accurately it found us." Mando added. "We should drop out of hyperspace. Get a better grasp on what we're dealing with." Boba suggested. Mando agreed and attempted to exit hyperspace, but nothing happened. He tried again, same result. "Hyperdrive must be jammed. What about you, Boba?" Mando asked. "Same over here. Mando, I think we shou.." Boba started before being cut off by static. "Boba? Boba?!" Mando shouted seeing the Slave I being sucked into the anomaly, bit his own ship starts to follow. "Okay, kid. Brace yourself." Mando said as the darkness overtook them.
When the darkness cleared, Mando saw that he and the kid were in another kind of tunnel or vortex, this one being indigo with blue rings about 50ft apart. With each passing ring, Mando got a different feeling. Through one part, Mando turned to his right and was surprised to see a young boy, around his teens most likely, in a hat and vest flying next to the ship along with a small yellow rodent thing. Grogu actually waved at the two, who, surprisingly, waved back. They disappeared after another ring and then, Mando was blinded by a light.
When Mando came to, he noticed that he and Grogu were on a strange planet and their ship was nowhere in sight. "Kid, you okay?" Mando asked with a groan. Grogu just shook himself off and looked at Mando. "Where are we?" Mando asked. He then checked himself over, making sure he still had all his gear, before bringing out his comm. "Boba? You there?" He asked, no response. "Fennec?" Nothing. "Cara?" "Bo?" "Ashoka"?" "Luke?" "Can anyone here me?!" No one responded. "Dank Farrik!" He cursed
He looked around to see a gas station. "Maybe I could get some information and directions from there? Stay here and hidden." Din said as he walked in. Inside, there was a Caucasian woman with brown hair. She wore a green shirt, blue jeans, brown sandals, and a name tag that read "Jess". She saw him and immediately raised her hands in fright. "The money is in the register. Take it. It's yours." She said. "I'm not going to rob you.", Din said, trying to calm her down "I'd just like to ask you some questions. I'm not exactly from around here.". She looked him up and down, before sighing in relief. "Yes, of course." She said. "First, what planet is this? Also, what system?" Mando asked. Jess looked confused. "This is Earth? Of the Solar System?", Jess said, "Shouldn't you know this, Mr Stark?". Now, it was Mando's turn to be confused. "I've never heard of Earth. Or this "Solar System"." ,Mando stated, "And who the hell is Stark?". "Sorry, he just.. He's a guy who wears a suit similar to yours. Though, I should have known you weren't him due to the lack of a light in your chest. He calls himself Iron Man. He's all over the news. 'A suit like mine. Is this Stark a Mandalorian?' Din thought.
"Speaking of my suit. Has anyone else came through here recently? He'd be wearing a suit similar to mine, but in green." Mando asked, hoping that Boba was here to. "Sorry. It's just been you so far." Jess said, apologetically. Mando sighed as he began to search around for anything useful for him or the kid. Before either of them could say anything else, two men in ski masks and carrying guns and a duffel bag barged in. "Alright, money in the bag! And don't try anything funny!" The first robber demanded. "Okay! Okay! Okay!" Jess said frantically as she began to load the money. The robbery was cut short when they heard a click. Everyone turns to see Mando holding his blaster at the robbers. "Alright all make this easy.", Mando began, "You can get out of this warm, or you can get out of this cold.". The crooks fired at him, the bullets bouncing harmlessly off his armor. Mando fired, hitting the first crook in the shoulder, making him drop his gun. The second goes in for a punch, but is blocked by Mando. The two trade fists for a bit before hearing a gunshot. They turn to see crook #1 with his gun in hand, clearly having fired a shot, but the bullet was floating in midair. Everyone is stunned before Mando takes the opportunity to knock out the second crook before the first was grabbed and then knocked out by Jess with a punch. "How'd you do that?" Mando asked, surprised. "Tae Bo lessons really payed off." She said with a small laugh. Noticing Din's confusion, she told him, "It's like a fighting thing." That got an understanding nod from the Mandalorian. "How'd you stop that bullet in midair, anyway?" She asked. Din didn't know how to answer before he saw a glimpse of a small green hand through the window. "Uh, I-I can levitate things. Yeah, that's right. And I used it to stop the bullet from hurting us." He quickly explained. Din then noticed something in the first crook's pocket, it was a card. 'And I thought the agent in the suit who couldn't decide which flavor of donut to get so he got both would be the strangest thing I'd experience." Jess thought. "Anything else you need? She asked. "Directions to the nearest town would be nice." He said.
We then cut to Mando flying with his jet pack, carrying Grogu with one arm, the young one clearly enjoying himself. He examines the card he found, it read "L.T.L" and in bold, "The Big Man" "New York, this was something he needed to investigate. The two fly past a van. "OMG! Was that Iron Man?" A woman with brown hair and glasses in the van asked, excitingly. "No, Darcy. I'm pretty sure it was just a bird or plane or something." Another brunette woman said.
The scene then shows an office, definitely belonging to someone with power. A man in a suit approaches the desk, nervously. "S-sir, I have n-news." He stuttered. "Yes, what is it?" A deep voice commanded from the desk, his face remaining hidden. "Our satellite picked up two of our men somewhere near New Mexico trying to rob a gas station." He began. "And?" The boss said, impatiently. "They didn't come out until the police arrived. But someone else was picked up on our satellite, though." He continued as he brought out his iPad to bring up the feed. The iPad showed Mando flying through the air. "Know where he's heading?" The boss asked. The goon shook his head. "Doubt even he knows. But when the boys were being lead to the police cars, they mentioned something about him having levitation powers." He said. That intrigued the boss. "Think he might find out about us and try to stop us?" The goon asked. "If he does, I will deal with him." The boss got up, revealing himself to be a towering man in a black business suit with purple lines and a red tie. His skin was very white, nearly silver with red eyes, sharp teeth and a flat haircut. "And he'll find out why they call me Tombstone." He finished as he cracked his knuckles. The screen went dark, leaving only his red eyes.
Hello, readers. Ace Xavier here with the first chapter of Mandalorian Avenger. Hopefully you liked this first chapter. Will see how Mando will change up events here in the MCU. Also, did anyone here about the Deadpool 3 announcement. So exciting! Now here are a few notes.
1. I know Mando had the staff made into the chainmail on Grogu, I forgot for a bit. In this version, pretend he just had other beskar to use.
2. This chapter and the next will be Mando's debut movie before showing up in the Avengers movie. Like Iron Man, Hulk, Cap, and Thor.
3. I feel like some people might think that Mando might be Iron Man due to their similar armor, so I put that in here.
4. Boba Fett's location will be revealed in the "mid/post credits" scene
5. The boy and the yellow rodent thing that appeared in the vortex are Ash and Pikachu from my Pokémon/Wild Kratts crossover story. Feel free to check it out.
6. Jess, the girl working at the gas station, isn't an oc. She appears in the short A funny thing on the way to Thor's hammer, where Agent Coulson saves her from being robbed. The Tae Bo thing is a reference to the cover story that she took out the robbers, I feel she would actually take it up. She was unnamed in the short, so I named her after her actress, Jessica Manuel.
7. Mando will be based mainly in New York and will be looked at as a Batmanlike figure, as I sometimes see him.
8. There will be characters from the comics that haven't appeared yet or will appear earlier.
9. Tombstone will be the main villain of Mando's "movie" and picture him played by Ving Rhames.
