AN: I've decided to do rather short chapters for no to just test the waters and not burn myself out. But, if this gets moderately popular and you guys say you want longer chapters then i'll do longer chapters it'll just take longer to come out so yeaahh.
PS: probably not going to do pairings very soon unless you guys encourage it.
Chapter Two
Better
Naruto woke up the next day not one-hundred percent sure if the events of his previous day had been a dream or not. 'I should talk to Hokage-sama about this.' Naruto thought to himself as he headed for his bedroom while also wondering why he didn't think of the Hokage in his usual disrespectful but loving nickname.
Naruto changed into some bright orange pants and his black shirt with the Uzumaki crest on the back. He went into his bathroom and splashed some water onto his face and brushed his teeth. Having finished his morning routine he walked out his front door while subconsciously suppressing all of his natural chakra in order to not be noticed.
~some time later~
Naruto arrived at the hokage tower and was still subconsciously suppressing his presence as to not be noticed. He easily walked past the front desk without being noticed and walked up towards the Hokages' office. 'I wonder what dango taste like..I always see people eat it but-' Naruto was thrust out of his thoughts when he ran into a Jonin Sensei and their Genin squad. He bumped into one of the Genin almost making them fall. "Hey! Watch where you walk you brat!" one of the other Genins shouted. "Where'd you even come from huh?! I didn't see or sense you..hey..are you a spy?" said the Genin Naruto had bumped into "He isn't a spy he's a demon. Come on team lets get on with our mission" Said their Jounin sensei with an evil glare towards Naruto. The team moved along to their mission while Naruto stood their growing with anger.
'I see you hold much hatred for such a young mortal. Why don't you go and kill them?'
Naruto spun his head to see who was behind him only to find no one.
''Who's there?!'' He said rather desperately. ''Was it you who called my name?'' The little boy asked again when he got no response. Naruto sighed when he still gained no answer and continued walking thinking it must be his imagination. 'Hokage-sama did always say little children like me have wild imaginations' Naruto thought not believing one word he had told himself. Naruto arrived to the Hokage office and knocked on the door. "Come in." answered an old and tired voice. Naruto walked into the room and bowed. Hiruzen frowned at the sudden showcase of respect, half enjoying Narutos usual antics. "Hey Naruto. What do you need?" Sarutobi said with a warm smile. "I have some questions for you Hokage-sama" Naruto said sitting in a chair. Sarutobi really didn't like the way he said that. Especially the formal use of his name.
~45 minutes later~
Naruto was crying holding his face and all Hiruzen could do was apologize.
"I'm sorry for not telling you sooner Naruto-kun. I really am" said Hiruzen
"It's..its fine.." Naruto said in between tears.
Hiruzen had finally told Naruto about the Nine Tailed Demon Fox sealed inside of him after Naruto seemed like he was close to cracking the case. It all made sense now. There were still pieces missing to the puzzle and Naruto felt it but he couldn't hold the tears in now that he finally knew why everyone hated him. After Naruto was done crying he thanked Hiruzen and left. He also told Hiruzen that he would be training at the Ninja Academy for the next seven years and graduate at the age of twelve to start his Ninja career. Hiruzen cooperated and showed Naruto a basic henge so he could get into libraries, although, Naruto could have simply sneaked in without a problem. Naruto heads home and prepares to begin his very long seven year training period while finding scrolls on meditation and chakra control along the way.
~Seven Years Later~
"Okay. This is it. I've finally reached the last week of the academy. Now, things will be better."
