So, this is an idea I'd been planning for a while after watching The Vampire Diaries/The Originals. I was worried The Vampire Diaries would be some stupid Twilight mess and while there are some similarities at first glance, The Vampire Diaries is much better than Twilight and shares similarities with Buffyverse, in some ways Buffyverse is superior to TVD verse, in some ways TVD verse is superior to Buffyverse.

Supernatural I find one of the best supernatural shows ever, even though some storylines were either repetitive or dull or weak but what majorly pisses me off is how they ruined Chuck/The God, who was one of the best and most compelling characters in the last two seasons by showing that Chuck had been the one pulling the strings and writing the main characters' stories and putting them through Hell, turning him into an utter sociopath and the modern media again mocking God by making him a monster.

As for Cade creating Hell and the Sirens, that is ignored here, it will be Supernatural's Hell with Crowley as the King of Hell.

Begins between Supernatural Season 7-8, with Dean, Cass and Benny in the Purgatory and in TVD 6x05-06, when Damon gets back from The Other Side, while Bonnie stays behind with Kai.

And I'm not going to do the plot with Lily and The Heretics here or trials of God, since that would make things a bit more convoluted for me here.

I'd like to thank my friends Aragorn II Elessar, Stand with Ward and Queen and R4ik3n for some help with this fic.

The updates will be sporadic due to personal things but I have every intention of writing this story from the beginning to the end, since I already have the basic layout of the story thought through.

And just a final note before we get started, any comments regarding power level comparisons, creative liberties and suggestions, isolating fans or such shall be ignored and deleted. Go whine to someone who actually gives a damn, I have no intention of wasting my time with the likes of you. Don't like, don't read, click 'close' or 'back', plain and simple.

Disclaimer: I do not own The Vampire Diaries or Supernatural.

2020

In a remote cabin, a little girl who was around four or five years old was playing in the sandpit, when she saw a Chevrolet Impala 1967 pull over and a man in his late 30s in a brown jacket and square shirt and blue jeans with long brown hair exited the car.

The little girl ran to the man as he smiled at her.

"Uncle Sam!" The girl said happily.

"Hey, who's that big girl?" Sam asked, lifting her up.

"It's me. It's Sheila." Sheila said.

Sam narrowed his eyes at her. "No. You can't be Sheila. Last time I saw her, she was this small." He gestured the approximate height to a little above his knees as Sheila laughed.

"Sam Winchester. As I live and breathe."

Sam smiled at hearing the voice as a dark-skinned woman in purple woolen jacket and white shirt and jeans with brunette hair approached as they hugged each other.

"Hey, Bonnie." Sam said, hugging her.

"It's always nice to see you." Bonnie said before she knelt to Sheila. "Honey, why don't you go inside? I'm gonna talk with Uncle Sam for a minute before we come in."

"OK." Sheila said as she ran into the house.

"Where's Enzo?" Sam asked, looking around.

"He's with Damon in Oregon on a road trip. Elena's been impatient to hear his calls." Bonnie explained.

Sam chuckled. Of course. Same old Damon, Enzo and Elena. "And I'm guessing Stefan and Caroline are still in Mystic Falls. I hope none of them has turned off their humanity and begun causing trouble, otherwise I'd have to come and… you know."

"Oh, I think I'd beat you to it." Bonnie said as they chuckled. "Been a while since I've seen you the last time. Where's Dean?"

Sam looked solemn as Bonnie pulled away, realizing what had happened.

"Oh, my God…" Bonnie said, looking at him with sympathy. "How?"

"On a hunt. The way he wanted. And before he died… he asked me not to bring him back again. Not this time. It's what he wanted, Bonnie." Sam said before sighing. "It's been… a few months back. After a while, I just couldn't do it anymore either."

"So you retired again?" Bonnie asked.

"This time I'm out for good. Dean's not coming back. And he doesn't want for me to look for a way to bring him back. I burned the body. I just hope he's found his peace. And I'm happy now." Sam said, showing his wedding ring on his finger as Bonnie smiled.

"So who's the lucky woman?" Bonnie asked.

"Well—"

"Mom! Can you make dinner, please?" Sheila called out from the front porch as Bonnie turned her head.

"I'll be there in a moment, honey!" Bonnie called before turning back to Sam. "Why don't we catch up back in there?"

"Sure." Sam said as he followed her.

"Hard to believe it's been eight years, is it?" Bonnie asked.

"Sometimes it feels like a lifetime ago." Sam said as they chuckled, remembering the old days.

Present, 2012

In the cavern, Bonnie had cut herself in the palm of her hand with the blade emerging from the Ascendant before she clenched her fist above the Ascendant as drops of blood poured onto the crystal in the center of the Ascendant.

Damon observed as Bonnie took a breath and began muttering an incantation as the gears in the Ascendant began moving, while Damon and Bonnie looked hopeful.

"It's time, Damon." Bonnie said.

"Alright." Damon said, rubbing his hands before approaching Bonnie, ready to go home. "Let's get awkward." He took a breath as he held the Ascendant with Bonnie. "Like this?"

"Yeah." Bonnie nodded.

"I'm sure there are about a billion people you'd rather be here with." Damon said.

Bonnie smiled at Damon. "Not exactly."

Damon chuckled back. Even though they had their differences towards each other at first, mainly due to what had Damon put her and her friends through, they had grown close together during their time in the Prison World after the Other Side collapsed.

"Let's go—aah!" Bonnie screamed, knocked back as an arrow hit her in the heart, while the Ascendant fell on the ground.

Damon turned around and glared upon seeing Kai Parker aiming the crossbow at them.

"Forgetting someone? Did you really think I hadn't tried to kill myself before?" Kai taunted as Damon briefly turned to Bonnie, who grunted, struggling to get up, while Kai loaded his crossbow. "Because I had. Lots of times. Lots of ways."

Damon turned to the Ascendant before receiving a warning look from Kai.

"Grab that and the next arrow goes in her heart. Your choice." Kai warned.

Damon blurred to Bonnie, helping her get up. "OK. I got you."

Bonnie grunted as Damon pulled the arrow out of her chest before Damon bit himself in the wrist, about to heal Bonnie before they saw Kai making a run for the Ascendant.

"Damon, no!" Bonnie yelled.

Kai picked the Ascendant before Damon blurred to him and grabbed him by his throat as the Ascendant fell on the ground. Damon grunted as Kai stabbed him in the chest with another arrow and pinned him down on a rock. Bonnie crawled to the Ascendant and took it as Damon turned to her.

"Bonnie, get out of here." Damon grunted.

"I'm not gonna make it." Bonnie whispered. "But you are."

Suddenly, Kai was thrown away from Damon as Bonnie muttered an incantation and swung her hand and she telekinetically pulled Damon towards her as Damon ended up in the center of the cavern, where the light was shining in before Bonnie threw the Ascendant towards him and Damon saw the gears on the device moving.

"No." Damon whispered before a glow of light from above shone on him. "No!" He yelled before the light pulled him up and Damon disappeared.

The light blinded Bonnie and next thing she knew, she was on the ground, with leaves and timber on her hair and her clothes as she ended up in the woods and Bonnie felt dead leaves on her hair before she got up and brushed it off her head and clothes and as Bonnie looked around, she wasn't in the cave anymore but somewhere in the woods and wherever Bonnie was, she was sure it wasn't the Prison World she had been in with Damon and Kai anymore. The atmosphere and the shades of the places were darker than where she had been earlier.

The trees twisted in unnatural ways, creating an image of tendrils wrapping around her and the roots jutted up through the hard ground sporadically as Bonnie walked down the place, almost falling as she tripped on the roots of the trees around her, vines hanging down, many covered with thorns big enough to take out an eye if she wasn't careful. What was this place? It shared some similarities with The Other Side but the place had collapsed, so where was she?

After what seemed like an eternity of walking, Bonnie sat down and coughed. Tears had begun forming on her clothes from the trees, vines and thorns ripping into them and holes were beginning to open in her shoes and socks, plus, the dehydration and starvation was starting to get to her as the sun was becoming too hot and the fatigue was causing for her to lose focus but Bonnie tried to stay awake, especially, since she kept hearing snarling and roaring and there was the smell of blood she would pick up here and there while walking down this place, which made it clear that she would need to find a safe place to hide and rest sooner or later.

Bonnie then saw a nearby river as she heard water flowing and felt relieved. Bonnie rushed as fast as she could to the river and knelt towards it, trying to extinguish the uncontrollable thirst as she picked handful of water and gulped, feeling a bit rejuvenated. God, she had no idea how thirsty she had been and she felt like she had almost forgotten what water tasted like as she continued drinking before she heard snarling and Bonnie paled as she looked up to see several people who had normal clothes but Bonnie could already tell that they were not human as she saw their fangs on their jaws or claws sticking out of their fingers.

Vampires, werewolves and monsters that Bonnie had read about but never encountered them face-to-face until now. Even though Bonnie had recovered her magic, there was no way she could take on so many monsters at once and Bonnie could tell just by the looks in their eyes and by the way how they were baring their teeth that she was about to become their next prey.

As the monsters lunged at her, Bonnie raised her hand and knocked some of them back with telekinesis but turned to see more of them coming at her, but what Bonnie did not expect was two men with makeshift machete and axe coming to her defense as one of them cut the head off one of the monsters, while another one cut the other monster in two and the two men worked together in tandem to her defense until the last of the monsters were cut down.

Bonnie stared in shock at her saviors as they turned to face her. One of them was a man in his late 30s with a brown leather jacket and long hair and had a peak physical condition, while the other man was bulkier with short hair and beard with a black jacket and pants and white shirt before Bonnie noticed a third man accompanying them but he stayed a bit behind and he looked the most worn out and looked like he needed shaving, wearing a torn trench coat.

The bulky man turned to Bonnie and sniffed her. "She ain't smelling like a monster. She's human."

The other two men looked at her in surprise, while Bonnie paled. Were they more monsters?

"What's another human doing here?" The man with brown leather jacket asked with a rough voice.

Bonnie clenched her fists, preparing herself for a fight. "Back off."

"Whoa, easy. I'm human too." The man said as he raised his hand as he gestured at himself and his companions. "I'm not gonna hurt you and they ain't either."

"Where am I?" Bonnie asked.

"Purgatory. Where the monsters end up upon dying." The man in trench coat said.

Bonnie blinked. Purgatory was real? Although, given what she had been through on the Other Side and in the Prison World, it wasn't that difficult to believe it, so she couldn't really act surprised.

"How did you get here?" The bulky man asked.

"It's complicated." Bonnie said before they heard more snarling in the woods.

"Well, you can tell us once we find a place to hide. You wanna make it through the night, come with us." The man with the brown leather jacket said and Bonnie couldn't argue with that as she followed them before he offered his hand. "Dean Winchester."

Bonnie shook her hand with him. "Bonnie Bennett."

"This bundle of joy is Cass." Dean said, gesturing to the man with the trench coat. "He's an angel."

Bonnie stared in surprise at Cass. Angels were real? Though, considering the Other Side, angels probably were not that big of a stretch.

"And this is Benny." Dean jerked his head to the bulky man and Bonnie looked at him warily. For some reason she could tell he was not human and Bonnie had a strange feeling about him but right now, this group was her best chance of surviving this place as they walked down the woods together.

After some more running, Dean, Benny, Cass and Bonnie hid in a nearby cavern as Dean handed Bonnie a jug of water as Bonnie panted.

"You must be thirsty." Dean said.

"Thanks." Bonnie said as she drank the water before she looked around. "Are you sure that we're safe here?"

"For now at least. We'll be lucky to make it through the night." Benny said and Bonnie sighed. Isn't that just her luck.

"So, how'd you end up here?" Dean asked.

"Honestly… I've been asking myself the same question from the moment I got here hours ago." Bonnie said as she took a breath. "I was an Anchor to The Other Side before it collapsed. Then… I ended in some time loop in 1994 where a psychotic siphoner tried to siphon off my magic and kill me and my friend, I managed to get Damon out but I ended up here somehow."

"The Other Side… you're saying it collapsed?" Cass asked.

"Wait, what other side? What are you talking about?" Dean inquired, not following.

Cass turned to Dean. "The Purgatory isn't the only place where monsters go upon dying. There are multiple dimensions they can end up in. The Purgatory, Hell, the Empty, the Other Side… You know there are various versions of monsters and demons, Dean. The vampires, werewolves and other kinds of monsters we've faced are descendants of Eve as you know. And there is a different breed altogether of these monsters as well."

"So you're saying there's more than one kind of vampires, werewolves and such?" Dean asked.

"Precisely." Cass said before turning to Bonnie. "Where are you from?"

Bonnie blinked, surprised by the question but decided to answer anyway, hoping that this Cass guy would answer some of her questions. "Mystic Falls. Virginia."

"Well, that explains it." Cass said dryly.

"Hang on. Mystic Falls. Isn't that place full of vampires?" Dean asked, remembering that Bobby and John had mentioned that place few times before.

"Yeah…" Bonnie said.

"That place is mostly full of ghosts, vampires and sometimes werewolves. The vampires there like their feeding grounds free of demons and such but the vampires there aren't like the vampires we've faced, they're closer to those you'd read in those books like Dracula." Cass said.

"Well, holy water and objects and garlic can't hurt them but sunlight, wooden stake, bloodlust and the invitations do apply. To become a vampire, you have to die with vampire blood in your system, either ingested or through an open wound." Bonnie supplied.

"Uh-huh…" Dean said, wanting to show he was following.

"Also, they can compel a human to do their bidding and during the trance the compelled human loses all of their free will but a properly trained mind can resist compulsion." Cass said.

"Or if they ingest vervain. It's a potent herb that is poisonous to vampires." Bonnie said.

"Well…" Dean trailed off. This sounded fascinating. "So, you've got some experience with vampires?"

"Two of my best friends were turned into vampires few years ago but they're good most of the time, I'm a good friend with one's ex too, his brother, it's a bit more complicated." Bonnie said. "Not every vampire is evil by nature where I'm from, asides from few exceptions." She added, remembering Damon. "For that to happen…"

"…they need to shut off their humanity." Cass finished.

"What?" Dean asked, confused. "What do you mean, 'shut off humanity'?"

"These vampires were created by magic, not mutation." Benny explained. "Their senses and emotions are amplified upon turning. Quite so different from our kind, I see."

"What do you mean, 'our kind'?" Bonnie asked warily and Dean groaned as Bonnie started backing away.

"Easy…" Dean said, raising his hands.

"If I wanted to kill you, you'd all be dead already and I'd be on my merry way by now." Benny said as Bonnie looked at him warily before turning to Dean.

"Look, I get it. I didn't trust him at first either but he saved our lives. I think the least you can do is keep an open mind." Dean assured.

Bonnie was unsure whether to trust Benny but considering that he had saved her life with Dean, Bonnie was willing to give him a small benefit of the doubt.

"I know a way out of here. There's an exit for humans." Benny said.

"And you trust him?" Bonnie asked, turning to Dean.

"Honestly, it's either that or spend the rest of our lives fighting for them." Dean said before Bonnie turned to Benny warily.

"I doubt you'd help out of goodness of your dead heart. What's in it for you?" Bonnie asked.

"A ride out of here with you." Benny said.

"Didn't you say it's an exit for humans?" Bonnie reminded.

"I got that part covered." Dean said.

Bonnie looked at them warily. Dean was rough around the edges, sure, but Bonnie could tell that his heart was in the right place. Benny, she couldn't really tell if she could trust him. Cass, there was something off about him, considering his passive attitude.

"Look, I can tell you're a good kid. And your heart's in the right place and that you don't deserve to be here. And I get it. You have no reason to trust us." Dean said, as he looked into her eyes as if he was reading her mind. "But let's face it. With us you have better odds staying alive than alone. So what do you say?"

Bonnie looked down to see Dean offering his hand as she considered. She was wary but like Dean pointed out, she had better chances surviving if she was not alone. Plus, what did she have to lose?

Dean smiled as Bonnie shook his hand.

"You cross me, you won't live long enough to regret it." Bonnie said with her eyes narrowed and Dean chuckled, impressed. Even though she didn't seem dangerous, Dean could tell she could make good on her word.

And Bonnie has ended up in the Purgatory with monsters in there hunting her, Dean, Benny and Cass. Though considering that she had left some blood behind, Kai would still find a way to escape the Prison World.

Hope my explanation on the Purgatory and the Other Side makes sense.

As for the flashforward in the beginning, since I traded TVD Hell with Cade with Supernatural's Hell with Crowley, at least Bonnie and Enzo get their happy ending here. F*** Julie Plec.

So, what do you guys think? Is it good? Is it bad? Should I continue?

Please review and let me know if you have been enjoying this and want for me to continue.
