After ages of humans being dominant the humans ether were to evolve or die most of them evolved onto animal people while some died except for one human a girl named Mika Sanders who was the last human left. She didn't die nor evolve which made it a problem for her being the only human left in the world now that most of the humans have evolved into animal people while some died.

Mika didn't get along with anyone else now that she was the only human left in the world. She didn't speak to anybody or meet eye with them because they were all animals instead of humans with her being the only human she chose to walk alone and read stories about humans instead of animals.

Everyone else stared at her and said stuff like "why hasn't she evolved yet? If she stays that way she'll die," all the animals around her would say. Mika didn't listen to what those animal people had to say about her being the last human alive, she was fine and she was not gonna socialize with any of those animals because she was human and not an animal.

One night the moon was full and just any full moon but a blood red moon that was shining high in the night sky, that's when Mika's life started to change forever.

Mika can feel her skin itching and her body sweating while in her bed. Her teeth started hurting like some sort of jagged pain. Mika thought of all humanity evolving or dying was just in her head, a dream, her parents died when she was still in middle school and had been taken to a foster home till she was now able to live on her own at age 15 but thinking about losing her parents, humanity evolving into animals or dying she hoped this was all just a bad dream. She tried to stay asleep till she was finally awake in her human world but unfortunately when she did wake up to splash some water on her face she looked in the mirror and saw a new face. Mika now saw the face of a grey she-wolf when she was about to take a shower. Mika screamed at her new face and started panicking as she put a towel around her naked furry body covered in thick brown fur and ran outside putting a hood on her head wondering if she was hallucinating with all these animal people and herself as a grey wolf.

"This is insane! This can't be real! I can't really be a wolf! I'm human and only human, this whole world should be full of humans, not animals!" Mika thought as she continued running while all the other creatures were staring at her.

She continued running until she ran smack right into someone and fell on her tush.

The guy she ran into was in fact a male grey wolf named Legosi who saw Mika laying down on the ground.

"You ok miss?" Legosi asked.

"Where am I? What am I? Why am I talking to you?!" Mika complained.

"It's ok, here, give me your hand," he said softly lending out his hand.

Mika didn't want to hold hands with a wolf especially since wolves aren't supposed to have hands.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you, it's fine," Legosi said softly.

Mika reluctantly put out her hand to the kind male grey wolf as she got back on her feet.

"Thanks for the help, but I can take care of myself," Mika said coolly.

"Why are you hiding your face? There's nothing to be embarrassed about," said Legosi moving the hood from Mika's face.

"No! No! Wait!" Mika said.

But Legosi already removed the hood from her head.

"See? No harm done," said Legosi.

"Don't look at me!" Mika said covering her face.

"What's wrong?" Legosi asked.

"I'm the last human…well…I the last human," said Mika slowly uncovering her face and facing Legosi.

"You were the last human? I thought they were all gone," said Legosi.

"They are, they are now I'm afraid, I was the last one," said Mika.

"What happened to you then?" Legosi asked.

"I don't know, I thought all this was a bad dream or I must've been hallucinating even with myself being a grey wolf but it seems like a lot has changed now and humanity has evolved including me," said Mika.

"What's your name?" Legosi asked.

"M-Mika Sanders," she said.

"Oh you must've been that only human that wouldn't talk to anybody at all, don't worry I'm sometimes that way too," said Legosi.

"But you've been a wolf longer then me," said Mika.

"Yes, I became a wolf when I turned 7 years old and I didn't hardly want to talk to anybody because I was once a human too when I was young and I became a wolf but I wasn't allowed to hide from others just because I was a wolf because my mom wanted me to be social even though humanity was evolving I went to that was meant for animals and eventually made friends with a dog named Jack even though it took me a while to get to become friends with him," said Legosi.

"You were just like me?" Mika asked.

Legosi nodded.

"You don't have to be a quiet tree like me, you can open up and make friends now that your not the only human anymore," said Legosi.

"What? How do I do that?" She asked.

Legosi handed out a poster of a collage named "Cherryton Academy".

"A school? Are you sure I can fit in here?" Mika asked.

"Just ask the staff of the academy that you want to go here and they'll probably let you in, I go there too," said Legosi.

"Oh there's a library, a gardening club and a drama club, sounds promising," said Mika.

"Well I better go to my dorm, I hope to see you there," said Legosi.

"Wait! What's your…" said Mika but before she could ask him his name he was gone.

Mika thought that was all too weird happening in one day as she finally saw Cherryton Academy up ahead as she started to apply to be a part of the school.
