Introduction
In the city of Mustafu, Japan, inside of a one-bedroom luxury condominium, a young man who has been living there was in his bed. He had recently moved to the said city by himself with the help of his parents due to the fact he is attending UA and is taking the Entrance Exams. The alarm went off as the young man slammed his hand to turn off the alarm blare.
The boy soon got up and stretched his toned and built body as well as rubbing his blood red eyes. He was 15 years old with fair skin and black hair. He swept it back into a natural 7:3 hairstyle and got up to take a shower.
After he showered, he got dressed in some black shorts, a t-shirt with a zipped up windbreaker on top. He wore glasses and looked at his phone as it said, "UA Entrance Exams start at 9:00 AM." He looked at the top left corner of his phone and saw it was 7:50 AM. He had time to eat some leftover fried rice he made and he did so before grabbing his backpack.
Honoka Kenjiro was in front of his apartment building as he was walking to a bus stop. It didn't take long for the bus to come and take him to UA High. He soon felt his phone vibrate and took it out to see a text from three people who were asking him if he was there yet. He texted the group that he would be there in a few minutes.
—(OP: Play JJK OP, Kaikai Kitan by Eve)—
Kenjiro was in front of UA and was amazed at the sight of UA. He has seen photos of the place, but has never been near the place until now. He was mesmerized at how big it was and was walking towards a group of three people, two girls and one boy. They all were talking until a girl with black hair and ruby eyes saw Kenjiro walking towards them. Mayumi Saegusa started waving to Kenjiro as the other two teenagers saw Kenjiro. The said teen smiled as he started to run towards his friends, Mayumi Saegusa, Nezuko Kamado, and Kyosuke Muteki.
"You all should've told me you were leaving," Kenjiro said, "and why were you guys here early?"
"We were exploring the campus," Nezuko said.
"And you were probably asleep, so we didn't want to call you," Kyosuke said.
"Well thanks for letting me rest," Kenjiro said sarcastically, "if you all are doing something all together, let me know please."
They all nodded and checked the time. Each of their eyes started to widen.
"We should get going to the auditorium," Kenjiro said, "the presentation will start soon."
They all nodded as they headed into the auditorium.
…
The four teens managed to get inside the auditorium of UA, but there were no seats for them to sit next to each other, so they decided to sit whichever seat was open. As Kenjiro did, he managed to find a seat and it didn't take long for the lights to begin to turn on as a lone figure was seen in front of the room. This person turned out to be a man who was tall and slender with long, spiky blonde hair and a small mustache. He wears a pair of headphones with the word "HAGE" written on the headband and a pair of sunglasses. His outfit consists of a black jacket with an upturned collar complete with studs. He sports a tan, studded shoulder pads, black pants with a red studded belt, black boots, and black fingerless gloves. His neck is completely covered by a large speaker.
'Who knew Present Mic would be here?' Kenjiro thought, 'is he going to be a teacher?'
"What's up, UA candidates?! Thanks for tuning into me, your school DJ," The speaker then opened Present Mic's arms with a big smile. "Come on, everyone! Let me hear you say yay!" He then cupped his ear, ready for someone to say something.
[SILENCE]
'Tough crowd…' Kenjiro thought.
"Keeping it mello, huh? That's fine, I'll skip straight to the main show. Let's talk about how this practical exam works, okay?" He then pointed his fingers at everyone, "Are you ready?!"
[STILL SILENCE]
And yet again, no one said anything.
"Just as the application requires, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this," Present Mic said as the large television screen started showing seven groups, each representing a letter from A to G, "After the presentation, you'll head to the specified battle center, okay?"
Kenjiro looked at his card, the test location was Battle Center B. He later looked at the television screen as it showed 3-D models of several buildings.
"Alright, let's check out your targets," Present Mic got everyone's attention once more. On each corner of the screen, four robot-like shadows appeared with one having 1P, another having 2P and the third having 3P. "There are three types of faux villains in every battle center. You'll earn points based on their level of difficulty, so better choose wisely. Your goal in this trial is to use your Quirk to raise your score by shredding these faux villains like a mid-song guitar solo." Present Mic then pointed at the crowd. "But make sure you keep things heroic. Attacking other examinees is a UA will not be tolerated."
Kenjiro nodded and looked around and soon saw a hand raised.
"May I ask a question," a male voice asked.
"Okay!"
"You've listed four types of villains, not three. With all due respect, if this is an error on official UA materials, it is shameful. We are exemplary students. We expect the best from Japan's most notable school. A mistake such as this won't do," the candidate explained with a professional tone. Kenjiro looked at the candidate who made an outburst and saw that he had navy blue hair and glasses and a blazer from what looked like the Somei Private Academy.
The candidate kept talking, "In addition, you over there with the curly hair—" Kenjiro looked to who the candidate was pointing to and saw a green haired boy pointed to himself, as if asking if he was the problem. "—You've been muttering this whole time. It's distracting! If you're here on a pleasure trip, then you should leave immediately!"
The room was filled with giggles, but Kenjiro thought otherwise.
'That was just unnecessary…' Kenjiro thought.
Present Mic replied, "Okay, okay, Examinee Number 7111. Thanks for the great message." He shot a thumbs up.
Continuing his presentation, Present Mic said, "The fourth type of villain is worth zero points. That guy's an obstacle, so to speak. There's one in every battle center: An obstacle that will go crazy in narrow spaces. It's not impossible to defeat, but there's no reason to defeat it, either."
On the screen, there was another 8-bit Present Mic, but instead of taking on the 0-point villain, he ran away from it.
"I recommend that you listeners try to avoid it."
The test candidate bowed, apologized for interrupting, and finally sat down.
Back to the Present Mic. "That's all from me! Finally, I'll give you listeners a present, our school motto! The hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said: 'A true hero is someone who overcomes life's misfortunes.' Go beyond. Plus Ultra! Now, everyone, good luck suffering!"
'Well that's a weird way of wishing us well,' Kenjiro thought.
Kenjiro was in front of Battle Center B, he took off his windbreaker and put it in his backpack before heading into the Battle Center. The t-shirt was large enough to cover his torso, but not his toned and built arms. He ignored girls looking at him as he was listening to some music from his bluetooth earbuds. Soon, a hand tapped on his shoulder and he looked back to see Mayumi, Nezuko, and Kyosuke. Kyosuke wore a white t-shirt and black sweatpants. Mayumi wore a white track jacket that was zipped open to show her wearing a black sports bra and her nice figure with black leggings that went close to her ankles. Nezuko wore a pink tank top with dark gray leggings that also reached to her ankles.
"Nice to see some familiar faces," Kenjiro said.
"What would've been the odds that we were in the same Battle Center together," Nezuko said.
"To be fair," Kyosuke said, "we didn't sit together and we were far apart from each other. So, we had a slight chance."
"That means we can work together to rack up enough points to get into the Hero Course," Mayumi said, "that's great!"
Kenjiro nodded in happiness and looked behind their shoulder to see a familiar green-haired boy that was put on blast earlier so he went to him.
"Ken-kun?" Mayumi said as she and the others caught up with Kenjiro.
Kenjiro managed to get behind the green-haired boy and gently tapped his shoulder as he said, "Excuse me—"
The green-haired boy was startled as he saw the towering Kenjiro.
"Sorry," Kenjiro said, "didn't mean to scare you, I just wanted to see if you were okay after what that person did during Present Mic's presentation."
"O-Oh that," the green-haired boy said, "don't worry about that. It's nothing I can't handle."
"Okay," Kenjiro said, "I'm Honoka Kenjiro and these are my friends."
"Muteki Kyosuke."
"Saegusa Mayumi."
"Kamado Nezuko."
"Midoriya Izuku," the green-haired boy said, "it's nice to meet you guys. If you don't mind me asking, how do you all know each other?"
"We went to the same school in the city Kobe of the Hyogo Prefecture," Kyosuke said, "we were the only four that wanted to be heroes so we decided to apply to UA."
"And we all moved to Ichiban Heights," Nezuko said.
Midoriya's eyes widened, "Isn't that the most expensive Penthouse in this area?!"
"Yeah, but our parents were able to afford one bedroom condos for each of us," Mayumi said, "also the distance wasn't that far as we could take a bus here and the ride wasn't that long."
Midoriya nodded to the information he was receiving, but the four teens saw that he was still nervous.
"Still nervous?" Kenjiro asked.
Midoriya timidly nodded as he couldn't help but tell the truth, but soon Saegusa's hand patted his shoulder, "No need to worry," Saegusa said, "Just stay calm and do your best!"
"Thanks," Midoriya said, "I wish I had your optimism."
Midoriya later looked around, but soon gasped as he saw someone. The four teenagers looked to where Midoriya was looking and someone with brown-hair.
"Do you know them?" Kyosuke said.
"Yeah," Midoriya said, "she actually saved me from tripping and falling over with her Quirk."
"Did you get the chance to thank her?" Kenjiro asked.
"That's a good idea!" Midoriya said, but he was nervous as he had never talked to a girl before and Kenjiro and Kyosuke noticed.
"If you want, we can come with you," Nezuko said.
"No it's okay," Midoriya said, "I'll do it myself."
He started to walk and just as he was about to talk to the brown-haired girl, someone stopped him. Kenjiro remembered that it was the Somei kid who made the outburst earlier and decided that he needed to stop whatever was going on. The other three started to follow as well, not wanting to be left behind.
"That girl looks like she's trying to focus on the test ahead," the Somei boy said, "What are you going to do? Distract her and ruin her chances to succeed?"
"No, no, no. Of course not! I-"
"If you had talked to her, she wouldn't be able to focus on the trial, would she?" the Somei boy sternly asked. Kenjiro managed to hear everything as he was approaching them.
"What's going on here?" Kenjiro asked.
"He was going to ruin a person's chance to succeed," the Somei boy said.
"Okay hold on," Kenjiro said, "first off, he wasn't trying to do anything bad. All he wanted to do was thank her for something she helped him with."
The Somei boy started to glare at Kenjiro who was slightly taller, but Mayumi and the two friends got in between them. Nezuko and Kyosuke held Kenjiro back and
"Hold on," Mayumi said, "now isn't the time for conflict, we have to get ready for the test."
The Somei boy huffed out in annoyance and started to walk away.
"Okay, START!"
[SILENCE]
"What's wrong? There are no countdowns in real fights! Run, run! The die has been cast, you know!"
Everyone ran for the door, but Kenjiro stood behind as he did a few hops to get the blood flowing and after he felt like he warmed up enough he smirked in excitement as he sprinted and did a charged jump over the other contestants.
Everyone saw Kenjiro soaring over the air past them and stopped in shock at how fast and high he was jumping. The first robot he saw was a three point robot, did a web-strike towards the robot and tore the robot apart and used his strength to make them into two baton sticks. Later used them as weapons as he managed to destroy the robots with his faux-escrima sticks.
"Alright… let's raise some hell," Kenjiro said to himself as he went off to destroy robots.
The other candidates' jaws dropped at how fast he was plowing the field.
"Check that guy out."
"Hey's wrecking them like they're nothing."
Kenjiro did a few wall jumps as he was racking up the points. He did a spin dive to the ground from the wall and was sticking on it to see where everyone was. From a bird's eye view, he looked around and saw his friends destroying robots and some of the debris were flying towards him. He dodge the shrapnel and looked at his friends who were working together with narrowed eyes.
"Can you guys be careful where you make a mess," Kenjiro said.
They all nodded as Kenjiro joined them and started to work together to rack up points. Other test takers were amazed at the teamwork they were displaying.
"Wow…"
"They really know how to work together…"
"Do I think it's a coincidence that they are close friends that know how to work together?"
The four teenagers ignored the comments as they kept working together to rack up points altogether.
…
After Kenjiro threw a robot towards the girls who destroyed it, Kyosuke dusted his hands after destroying the robot.
"I think we're good," Kyosuke said.
"I think so too—"
[HEAD RING]
Kenjiro's spider-sense went off and he started to breathe heavily. Mayumi was the one to approach him.
"Ken-kun, what's wrong?"
He didn't answer the question as he kept breathing heavily.
[GROUND SHAKE]
Kenjiro felt the ground shake and he started to hear something come out of the ground. He looked behind him to see a massive robot towering him and the other test candidates. He looked around to see other students running away. The 0 point robot was rolling down and the test candidates kept running. Kyosuke and Nezuko, on the other hand, approached Mayumi and Kenjiro.
"We need to go," Kenjiro said, "there's no way we can destroy this robot."
"I think they went a little too hard with the 0 point robot," Nezuko said.
"Tell me about it," Kyosuke said.
The four were about to run, but Kenjiro stopped as he heard someone calling out for something. Kenjiro looked back and saw a girl with brown hair that Midoriya was trying to approach earlier and Midoriya running towards the robot. He later looked at the other three.
"New plan," Kenjiro said, "Mayumi and Nezuko, make sure no one is left behind. Kyosuke, you're with me. We're going to save the girl and Midoriya-kun."
They all nodded and the girls ran off while Kyosuke and Kenjiro ran towards Midoriya and the brown haired girl. They managed to get to the brown-haired girl first.
"Are you okay?" Kennjiro asked.
"I need help," the girl said, "this is too heavy."
Kyosuke without hesitation moved the large rubble and started to carry her. Kenjiro looked up at the robot and saw Midoriya high in the air as he was close to the robot.
"Kyosuke, get her out of here!" Kenjiro said, "I'll take care of this."
Kyosuke nodded as he carried the girl away, but she said, "What about them?"
"Don't worry," Kyosuke said, "everything will be alright."
Kenjiro jumped high and started to web-swing towards Midoriya and the robot and landed on the rooftop of a building closest to Midoriya and the robot, but he stopped and perched on the wall as he saw Midoriya high in the air with his fist pulled back.
"SMASH!" With that, Izuku landed a devastating punch to the robot's head, causing it to fall back while exploding from the inside. Every single examinee looked at Izuku in pure shock and Kenjiro's eyes and mouth were wide open.
"What… the… hell…" Kenjiro said.
He kept looking at Midoriya, but he had a face of fear as he saw Midoriya falling down with his right arm and legs flapping along with the wind.
"NO!" Kenjiro screamed as he jumped off the roof he was on and did a bullet dive. He shot out a web line from his right wrist as he kept mouthing, "Come on," repeatedly. Midoriya saw Kenjiro diving towards him with a web line approaching him so out of instinct he used his free and unbroken hand to reach the web line. When Kenjiro saw Midoriya grabbing the web line, he pulled Midoriya and managed to bear hug the green-haired boy. Kenjiro soon shifted his body so his back could face the ground and impact him instead of Midoriya.
[BOOM]
Kenjiro fell with Midoriya in his arms, back first and created a mini crater. He started to get up, but his back was starting to hurt. He got out of the crater with Midoriya on his shoulder and put him on the ground gently.
"Honoka-kun?" Midoriya looked at Kenjiro who nodded with a smile, but he soon heard an elderly voice and looked towards the direction where the voice originated from. He saw an elderly woman who wore a nurse uniform and knew who the hero was. Recovery Girl was approaching them and Kenjiro wanted to reassure Midoriya that everything will be fine.
"You'll be fine," Kenjiro said, "Recovery Girl is coming."
He stood up and nodded at Recovery Girl before walking away towards his friends.
"Are you okay, Ken-kun?" Mayumi asked.
"My back," Kenjiro said, "the way I landed is making it sore, but I'll be fine."
Days have passed since the test and he's been waiting for a letter from UA. At this point, he didn't care whether or not he passed, he just wanted a letter from them saying something. He managed to cook some tonkotsu ramen and was eating the said dish, but soon heard a buzz that was a notification that mail for him had arrived. After he finished his food, he went down stairs to the reception office where the mailboxes were located and saw his suite number mailbox. He used a key to unlock the letterbox and saw an envelope that contained a UA wax seal. He looked behind him to see his friends walking towards their mailboxes.
"Guys…" Kenjiro said, "let me know what you got later."
The other three teens got their UA letters and went inside their own apartment room and opened their letters. Kenjiro was in his bedroom as he opened the envelope to show a small device and he was kind of dumbfounded with this. He sighed as he placed it on the desk.
'So much for a letter...' he thought.
He started to walk off as he was about to take a shower—
"I am here as a projection!" a masculine voice bellowed.
Kenjiro stopped and turned around to see All Might as a projection.
'What's this?' Kenjiro thought.
"This is a letter to inform you that you have passed!" All Might said, "Not only that, you have broken the record for the most points accumulated in the entrance exams with a big score of 109 points!"
The projector showed the scoreboard and Kenjiro was indeed first and the next three were his friends, Kamado Nezuko with 101 points, Saegusa Mayumi with 92 points, and Muteki Kyosuke with 82 points. But there was someone under him that Kenjiro wasn't familiar with whose name was Katuski Bakugou who had 77 points.
The screen transitioned to All Might as he said, "Congratulations, Honoka-shounen. This is... Your Hero Academia!"
'Well so much for attracting attention,' he thought, but he soon reverted his thought as he kind of attracted attention with him performing the way he did during the Entrance Exams.
Soon the message turned off and the device started to fry itself up with sparks flying out, a small self-destruction. Throughout all this time, Kenjiro had a face of happiness as he heard a knock on his door. He got up and ran to open it to see Mayumi, Nezuko, and Kyosuke.
"So…" Mayumi said leaning in.
"I GOT IN!"
The four got inside as they made an unplanned celebration with some hot pot and some Kobe beef that Kenjiro gets from his parents. They ate a heaping amount of kobe beef with udon and kurobuta chashu pork belly. They all were laughing about jokes and drinking soda, not before saying this.
"Kanpai!"
The next day arrived with Kenjiro getting up and getting dressed in the UA uniform. He ate a quick plate of wok-fried udon in a homemade szechuan oil sauce. Soon after, he left the condo and waited for his friends, who came out in UA uniforms.
Kenjiro smiled at his friends as he said, "Are we ready to go?"
The others nodded as they all walked to the bus stop and took the bus to UA. They later got off the bus and entered the campus. They all had the same class which was Class 1-A. They kept walking down the hall and saw the person the four saw had a familiar set of green hair. Midoriya was staring at the door with amazement. The green-haired boy turned to the left to see the friend group walking towards him.
"Hey, buddy," Kenjiro said, "it seems like you made it, congratulations."
"Thank you," Midoriya said, "and thank you for saving me. I never got the chance to thank you because I was in pain and when Recovery Girl healed me, I was tired."
"Don't worry," Kenjiro said, "if we're going to be classmates, I would at least like to be respectful and considerate to others."
Midoriya nodded as they opened the door, but shortly after his face turned white. Kenjiro, Mayumi, Kyosuke, and Neuzko's eyes were wide as they all saw the Somei boy confronting a blonde-haired boy with red eyes.
"Take your feet off those desks!" the Somei boy said.
"Huh?" The blonde had an evil smirk on his face as he was challenging the Somei boy.
"Don't you think that's rude to the UA upperclassmen…" As the Somei boy was talking to the blonde, Kenjiro had a face of confusion.
'What the hell is happening?' he thought.
He later snapped out of his thoughts as he saw a bunch of heads turning towards Midoriya and the friend group. Midoriya started to get flustered while Mayumi waved at them, Nezuko held a hand up, Kyosuke nodded his head, and Kenjiro did a two-finger salute.
"Good morning!" the Somei boy said, "I am from Somei Private Academy. My name is—"
"We heard!" Midoriya said.
"I'm Midoriya," Midoriya said, "Nice to meet you, Iida-kun."
"Midoriya-kun, you realized there was something more to that practical exam, didn't you?" Iida asked.
'What are you on about?' the four teens thought as they and Midoriya looked at Iida with confusion.
"I had no idea…" Iida said, "I misjudged you! I hate to admit it, but you're better than me."
The teens by the door looked back to see the brown-haired girl from the Entrance Exams. But Kenjiro just sighed as he decided not to waste anymore time and just went to his seat with his friends following suit.
"So guys… how do you think this school is going to turn out?" Kenjiro asked.
"This year is going to be interesting," Mayumi said, "the people in this class seem pretty interesting."
They all went to the seats based on their peers' last names. Kenjiro ended up sitting next to a girl named Yaoyorozu on his left and a boy named Shoji on his right. Mayumi ended up sitting next to a girl who had Invisibility as a Quirk named Hagakure on her left and Iida was on her right. Nezuko ended up sitting in the front with a blond named Aoyama on her right and Jiro on her left. Kyosuke though sat at the very left of the classroom next to a boy named Todoroki on his left and Midoriya in front of him.
Soon a man with black long hair and pale skin who looked like he wanted to sleep stood up.
'Isn't that…' Kenjiro thought as he looked at the older man.
"I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shouta," the older man said, "Nice to meet you."
He dug into what seemed like a sleeping bag and took out a blue and white uniform that had red accents on it.
"It's kind of sudden," Aizawa said, "but put his one and go out onto the field."
…
"A Quirk assessment test?!" The class said together.
"What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?" Uraraka asked.
"If you're going to become a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events." The class was very clearly a bit distraught by this, but Aizawa continued. "UA's selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That's also how the teachers run their classes."
Aizawa went on.
"You kids have been doing these since junior high too, right? Physical fitness tests where you weren't allowed to use your Quirks." He pulled up a phone-looking device showing an array of different physical fitness tests, like ball throwing and standing long jumps. "The country still uses averages taken from results from students not using their Quirks. It's not rational. Well, the Ministry of Education is procrastinating."
He scanned the crowd and finally settled his eyes on Kenjiro.
"Honoka, you finished at the top of the entrance exam, right?"
All eyes were on Kenjiro as he ended up stepping forward and was now in front of the class.
"Yes sir."
"In junior high, what was your best result for the softball throw?"
"70 meters," Kenjiro said.
"Alright then kid," Aizawa said, "try doing it again, but with your Quirk this time."
He nodded and stepped up to the field, ball in hand, and let Aizawa continue explaining.
"You can do whatever you want as long as you stay in the circle," Aizawa said, "Hurry up. Give it all you've got."
"Alright," Kenjiro said as he took a deep breath. He did a quick toss with the ball and went for a baseball pitcher throw. He threw the ball with all his might and it ended up flying at a high speed, but not enough to break the sound barrier.
While the ball was sailing through the sky, Aizawa said, "Know your own maximum first. That is the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero," He turned to the rest of the class and pulled out a measuring device reading "928 meters."
"What's this? It looks fun!"
"We can use our Quirks as much as we want! As expected from the hero course!"
Aizawa was not in agreement with the class's overall mood. "'It looks fun,' huh…" The class stopped chirping and looked at him. "You have three years to become a hero. Will you have an attitude like that the whole time?" He smiled evilly. "All right. Whoever comes in last place in all eight tests will be judged to have no potential… and will be punished with expulsion."
The class was outraged, and for good reason. To expel someone this early in the year, when they haven't even begun hero training, seemed incredibly unfair to them.
"Hey, isn't that kind of extreme?" Nezuko asked. She had joined the rest of his class, but was talking to Kenjiro and their friends primarily.
"Maybe," Mayumi said.
"But as he said," Kyosuke said, "this is a Hero Course."
Aizawa started again. "We're free to do what we want about the circumstances of our students." He pushed his long hair upwards, revealing a rugged, worn out face. "Welcome to UA's hero course!"
"Ah shit," Kenjiro said.
"Here we go," Mayumi said.
…
"Last place will be expelled?! But it's the first day of school! No, even if it wasn't the first day of school, this is too unfair!" Uraraka shouted, in protest.
Aizawa, naturally, was ready to clap back. "Natural disasters, big accidents, and selfish villains. Calamities whose time or place can't be predicted."
The four teens listened as Aizawa continued, "Japan is covered with unfairness. Heroes are the ones who reverse those situations. If you wanted to go talk with your friends at Mickey D's after school, too bad. For the next three years. UA will do all it can to give you one hardship after another. Go beyond. Plus Ultra."
"Well if you were justifying an expulsion, you've already done so," Kenjiro commented. Mayumi smacked his shoulder while Nezuko and Kyosuke looked at him.
"Overcome it with all you've got," Aizawa said. "All right, demonstrations are over. The real thing starts now."
…
The first test to come was the 50 meter dash. The first contestants were Tenya Iida and Tsuyu Asui, their Quirks being Engine and Frog respectively. Of course, since Iida literally has engines in his calves, he easily handled this test. He got 3.04 seconds, and Asui got 5.58 seconds.
When Uraraka had to go, it was against Nezuko Kamado whose Quirk is Oni. Nezuko's Quirk allows her to transform into a demon, but the longer she stays in this form, the more insane she becomes. But she has a dormant form that he's using, her true form makes her grow a horn, slits for pupils, and fangs and increases her strength, speed, and durability to an unbelievable degree. Uraraka's Quirk is Zero Gravity which has the ability to nullify the effect of gravity on anything she touches, she still has a limit, and once that limit is crossed, she becomes incredibly nauseous.
Anyways, Uraraka really didn't stand much of a chance against Nezuko as her increased speed led her to clear the dash in 2.97. Uraraka's Quirk doesn't make her any more physically strong than a Quirkless person, so it was up to her own strength to get a good time. She ended up getting 7.15 seconds, which isn't bad by any means, but just not as fast as kids with more versatile Quirks. It was faster than her junior high times at least.
Next up was Kyosuke and Ashido Mina. Kyosuke's Quirk is Invincible, meaning he has the ability to be invulnerable to anything, the user has the ability to be immune to any diseases and impervious to any attacks, but he has strength and speed that is above peak level. Ashido's Quirk is Acid, it allows her to produce a corrosive liquid from her body. She can control the solubility and viscosity of this corrosive liquid. There is a limit to how long she can produce the corrosive liquid until her skin gradually loses its natural resistance to it. The two got into a running position and when the signal went off, the two ran off. She managed to get there before Kyosuke who got a time of 4.79.
Bakugou and Midoriya were next. Of course, Bakugou handily won this race. He propelled himself forwards using explosions, getting a time of 4.13. For reasons unknown to the rest of the class, Midoriya did not use his Quirk to complete the 50 meter dash. He just ran normally, and got a time of 7.02.
'Why isn't he using his Quirk? Or could it be…' Kenjiro thought as to why Midoriya didn't use his quirk and realized that it could potentially break his bones.
Aizawa called him up to run next. Running alongside him was none other than Mayumi Saegusa who smiled at Kenjiro, making him smile back.
"I'm not gonna hold back," Kenjiro said.
"Me too," Mayumi said.
As the robot signaled for them to start, Mayumi and Kenjiro started to spinted off. The two soon met at the finish line and Kenjiro got a time of 2.54 seconds while Mayumi got a time of 2.89 seconds.
The next test was pretty self-explanatory. It was to use a dynamometer to test grip strength. Of course, Quirks were permitted, so you could use your Quirk to help get a better score. He overheard some talk about a guy with six arms getting a score of 540 kilograms. He later saw that Mayumi got a score of 432 kilograms. When he was called for the strength test, he squeezed the dynamometer and got a score of 512 kilograms. Nezuko got 450 kilograms and Kyosuke got a score of 170 kilograms. Next test was the standing long jump. After seeing a myriad of other students using their Quirks to completely clear the sandbox, Kenjiro and the others did the same, but since Kyosuke's Quirk didn't allow him to have increased strength, he barely cleared the sandbox. Next was repeated side to side steps and the four managed to clear the test.
After that came the ball throw, except Kenjiro who was exempt from throwing the ball as he already threw the ball. One notable score was when Uraraka got. Upon seeing the score, the entire class said "Infinity?!" in unison.
"That's crazy! She got 'infinity'!" said a blonde boy with a black streak in his hair.
"I know right?!" Mayumi said.
Kenjiro, Mayumi, Kyosuke, and Nezuko looked at the ball sailing away in the air with eyes wide and mouths open.
"Now that's amazing," Nezuko said.
"Don't need to tell us twice," Kyosuke said.
When it came Midoriya's turn to throw the ball, he just kind of stood there for a bit. It looked like he was deep in thought, even though there isn't much to think about when you throw a ball.
"It doesn't look good for Midoriya if he continues like this," Iida said with crossed arms.
Bakugou, annoyed by the notion that Midoriya could wield any power, countered, "Huh?! Of course not. He's a Quirkless small fry, you know."
"Quirkless?! Are you not aware of what he did in the entrance exam?" Iida asked in disbelief.
"Huh?" It seemed like Bakugou had no idea what had happened.
"Yeah, we saw," Kenjiro said. Kyosuke, Mayumi, and Nezuko all nodded in agreement to validate both Iida's and Kenjiro's statement.
After a bit more standing around and doing nothing, Midoriya finally decided that he was going to throw the ball. He wound up for the throw, then finally chucked the ball… although, it was a measly 46 meters. He looked at his hands in disbelief, as if something unbelievable had happened.
"I erased your Quirk." Aizawa said. The rags that were previously wrapped loosely around his neck were now floating around him mysteriously, as well as his black hair. His eyes glowed red as he spoke. "That entrance exam was definitely not rational enough. Even a kid like you was accepted."
Midoriya was shaken. "You erased my Quirk?" He gasped, noticing something about Aizawa. "Those goggles… I see! You can erase other people's Quirks with your Quirk just by looking at them. The Erasure Hero, Eraser Head!"
The class mumbled amongst themselves. Most didn't recognize the name "Eraser Head," but some kids did their research and did in fact recognize the name. Among these kids were the frog-like girl from earlier.
Kenjiro started to look around and soon noticed All Might, who for some reason seemed to be lurking by a corner. He disappeared almost immediately, and I went back to looking at the class.
"From what I can tell, you can't control your Quirk, can you?" Aizawa, with his hands in his pockets, glared into Midoriya. "Do you intend to become incapacitated again and have someone save you?"
Midoriya was defensive. "Th-That's not my intent—"
Before Midoriya could completely finish, Aizawa used his rag looking things to grab Midoriya, pulling the kid closer to him. He looked into Midoriya's eyes angrily.
The two seemed to be talking about something, probably regarding Midoriya's Quirk. It was nearly impossible to make out what they were saying from where Kenjiro and the others stood. All they could gather was that it was something Aizawa didn't want the whole class to hear.
Aizawa finally released Midoriya, "I've returned your Quirk. You have two turns for the ball throw. Hurry up and get it over with."
Midoriya looked very down. He stood in the circle, yet again, preparing to throw the ball. Much like last time, he stood around doing a whole lot of nothing while the rest of the class talked between each other.
Still in the circle, Midoriya was mumbling to himself. After a bit of stalling, he finally decided to make a move. He leaned forward and reeled his arm back, charging up for a powerful throw.
Kenjiro noticed that All Might had returned to the same corner as before, and was watching Midoriya with great interest. The others noticed where Kenjiro was looking, noted this, and began to think. Nothing could immediately come to mind, so Kenjiro was the first to put the thought aside and focused on Midoriya with his friends following suit. I would have time to think about this later.
Midoriya, contrary to what I had believed, had explosive power in his throw. At the very last instance of his throw, he launched the ball with the tip of his index finger fast enough to generate ripples in the air.
Aizawa looked at the device. Midoriya called out to him.
He bit his bottom lip, probably from the excruciating pain of having a busted finger. "Sensei… I can still… move!" He made a fist with his messed up finger as he rested his uninjured hand on his forearm.
The class was shocked at Midoriya's record. Many of them seemed to be incredibly impressed at his record, which broke 700 meters. It was like they forgot everybody else who had higher scores.
"Finally, a hero-like record!" said the brown haired girl, hands in the air.
Kenjiro and his friends were just looking at Midoriya's finger with genuine concern.
Iida stroked his chin, "His finger's swollen! There was the entrance exam, too. He has a strange Quirk."
"It's not very stylish," Aoyama remarked.
While the rest of the class seemed more or less impressed, yet calm, Bakugou was absolutely shitting himself. He couldn't believe it. His eyes were wide open, and his jaw had pretty much hit the ground. Kenjiro saw that and knew something was going on between those two.
Bakugou's shock didn't last for long.
"What's the meaning of this?!" Bakugou demanded as he made a beeline for Midoriya. "HEY! TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON, DEKU, YOU BASTARD!"
Upon hearing "Deku", for a split second, Kenjiro looked at Midoriya who clearly had no intention to fight back and just stood there, frightened.
"Kisama…"
As Bakugou was approaching Midoriya, he felt something on his back and was all of a sudden pulled back as he was now put into a rear-naked choke. Everyone looked at Kenjiro who shot a web line and pulled Bakugou into a rear-naked choke with Kyosuke and Nezuko holding each arm as if they were going to break them. Mayumi simply started at Bakugou with narrow eyes.
"We would rather not hurt people," Mayumi said.
"But if someone is going to go at someone as if they're going to murdener them, then maybe we will," Kyosuke said.
Kenjiro tightened the choke while Nezuko and Kyosuke were bending his arm.
"Let go of me!" Bakugou screamed.
"We'll pass," Kenjiro said. His eyes narrowed as Bakugou started to fade in and out of consciousness from Kenjiro choking him. Mayumi started to notice that Bakugou was not resisting and looked at the other three.
"Let him go, guys," Mayumi said, "we won't be as gentle next time he does this."
The three let go of Bakugou not without Kenjiro shoving the explosive blond, before he could approach Midoriya, Aizawa stepped in.
"You should stop before they come back to do something worse," Aizawa said, referring to Kenjiro and his friends, "and don't be surprised if they gang up on you."
Bakugou clicked his tongue as Midoriya ran to his friends. He looked at Midoriya with a quiet rage as he thought of someone he could squash. But it didn't last long as they all moved on to the physical tests such as the sit-ups, toe touch, and the long distance run.
After they did all the tests, they all surrounded Aizawa.
"Alright, I'll quickly tell you the results," Aizawa said, "the total is simply the marks you got from each test. It's a waste of time to explain verbally so I'll show you the results all at once."
He took out a device and pressed a button to show the test results:

Kenjiro and his friends saw that he was in first place and the others were not in last place. Good, they will not be expelled, but Midoriya… was a different story. Kenjiro felt bad, but it is what it is and he was wishing Midoriya well.
"By the way, I was lying about the expulsion," Aizawa said.
Almost everyone gave the teacher a blank stare as he explained himself.
"It was a rational deception to draw out the upper limits of your Quirks," Aizawa explained.
They all exclaimed with shock as a young girl started to chime in.
"Of course it was a lie," she said, "it should have been obvious if you just thought it through."
"I beg to differ," Kenjiro said, "I think he decided to not expel anyone at the last minute. I did some research, and he expelled a group of students last school year."
The girl got caught up and just nodded in understanding.
"With that, we're done here," Aizawa said, "there are handouts with the curriculum and such in the classroom so when you get back, look over them."
After that Kenjiro sighed as he was the first to walk away and go into the changing rooms.
The school day had ended and Kenjiro was in his apartment, bedroom. Mayumi, Nezuko, and Kyosuke had dinner at his place and they all turned in for the night. He was calling his parents as they picked up the phone.
"Moshi moshi," his mother said.
"Hey Mom…" Kenjiro said, "is Dad around?"
"Yeah," his Mom said, "let me get him."
After a moment, his Dad came over.
"Hey son! Congrats on your first day of school," his father said.
"Thanks," Kenjiro said, "you would be happy to hear that Nezuko, Mayumi, and Kyosuke are in the same class as me."
"But did you make any new friends?" his Mom asked.
"Not yet," Kenjiro said, "but hopefully tomorrow. Tomorrow apparently is going to be more fun than today."
"I see…" his Dad said, "well, have fun tomorrow and good luck! You need to sleep and rest tonight, sounds like UA is going to have something planned for their Hero Students."
"Alright, love you guys," Kenjiro said.
"We love you too," his parents hung up and Kenjiro put his phone down and sighed. He later decided to go on the patio and looked out to the view of Mustafu and saw the tower of UA High.
He later looked at his hands and simply sighed.
'When will they confront me about my powers?' he thought.
"You seemed to be lost in thought," a female voice said.
Kenjiro looked to his left and saw Mayumi standing outside on her patio next door. The two made eye contact and she was the first to smile.
"You seem preoccupied," Mayumi said, "what's going on?"
She motioned for Kenjiro to come to her patio so he crawled on the wall and kind of perched with his back leaning to the wall.
"I uhh," Kenjiro was kind of lost, "don't know… all four of us wanted to go to UA as a dream and we've accomplished that and now I just feel…"
He was motioning his hands as if he was trying to find the correct word to describe his feeling.
"Unsatisfied?"
Kenjiro nodded, "Yeah, unsatisfied."
"Well if it's any consolation, I've been feeling the same way," Mayumi said, "perhaps a new goal for you could be the best hero you could be."
"The best hero I can be…" Kenjiro nodded to the notion, "maybe I can work with that, thanks for that."
"That's what friends are for," Mayumi said, "well I have to get to bed, tomorrow is apparently going to be a big day."
"Good night," Kenjiro said.
She said good night back as he went into his condo and went to bed, now with a new goal, to be the best hero he can be.
