"Yes, Mother."

"Then after fencing, your nightly jog before bed."

"Of course, Mother."

Tomoe hangs up the cell phone without another word nor remark. The moment she is off screen, Kagami leans her blunette bob-cut haired head back on the red seat of the self driving completely red car.

Sharp brown eyes ache opening, feeling so drained tho she got some sleep. Not as much as she'd enjoy, with nightmares plaguing her busy brain. After all next week is a HUGE fencing competition, no teams even more. Normally, that wouldn't rattle her at all. More scheduled tasks and extra fencing lessons, her mind and body are starting to feel the pain.

Gentle knocking gets her off guard, shocked freckled face meets the smiley bright face of one Marinette Dupain-Cheng. She firmly waves her right hand at the pigtailed blunette, standing to attention.

The red door opens itself, her red sneakered feet land on the concrete. Immediately getting tackled into a morning hug by the bouncy bluebell eyes girl. Stiff but sssllooowwllyy patting her upper back, Kagami waits for Marinette to release the embrace she always insist on.

"Marinette class."

"Oh yeah. But the bell didn't ring yet. I'm early, you're rubbing off on me."

They giggle together, but it's short lived as Marinette's hands grip Kagami's shoulder blades. Just before Kagami can open her mouth, the bakery's daughter stares deeply into her guarded eyes.

"Okay, what's up? Wanna skip class?"

The seriousness in her voice gets Kagami smiling small. After all her mother had just recently let Kagami attend school a month ago. Still skipping felt like heaven right now. Yet if Tomoe discovers that plan, that's the end of school here.

"No, thank you Marinette. Come on, let's go to clas-"

As usual Marinette pulls the protesting blunette away. They crunch down hidden on the side of the stairs. She glares determined into annoyed sharp brown eyes.

"Very well. I'm sleep deprived, Mother would be disappointed if I-"

"Wait a minute Kagami. Is it no sleep at all or nightmares keeping you up?"

Marinette cuts Kagami off (as rare as that is), worry written all over her face at the stronger blunette.

"Nightmares."

She states flatly as if it doesn't effect her. Marinette tilts her head disbelieve completely consuming her face. Yet it quickly morphs to a tiny smile.

"You need a friend, when you have to fight off the bad dreams. What doll do you want me to create? I can have it done before tonight-"

"Cat Noir, please Marinette."

Kagami smiles a bit more joyously at Marinette's shocked face. Let alone that Kagami cut her off per their usual.

"You got it, my strong fencer. One Cat Noir doll coming your way."
