Meet Zora, your average teen who was really advance in school and managed to meet everybody's expectations, except her parents. Her parents always expected more from her, which I say a lot. Her parents had to leave for a business trip as they left there 16 year old daughter in the house alone. Let's see what she's up to then.
Zora was peacefully asleep on her queen sized bed. As she slept she was awoken by the sound of shuffling beside her. She squinted her eyes and saw her dog, Namni, a Brittany Spaniel, beside her bed. Zora looks at her with a tired look as she got out of bed and checked the time. It was around 9:56 AM, seemed like a reasonable time to get up. She grabbed her glasses, went to the bathroom to take care of somethings such as brushing her hair and washing her face. She then takes her dog out for a bit.
She then makes her some food, cooked herself some eggs and bacon. She sat down in her chair in the living room and switched though the channels. A show on nick was airing the paw patrol once again and went in Disney just to see miraculous ladybug or whatever it's called.
"Not that many things to watch huh.." Zora mumbled as she felt defeated after skipping through most of the channels. Zora realized that she had a switch she bought herself, so she went to get it and sets it up. She got the switch from a sketchy looking person from a trusted store she always went to for since they sold this stuff for a cheep price. Finally she was able to boot up the switch and what do you know, it has one game on there. Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Zora sat there and tried to see if there was potentially any other games on the switch. None. She looked at the switch with a rather confused expression since there wasn't any other games on the switch. Well this was probably bought from another person who deleted every single game except for this game. She wonders why this game wasn't deleted. Plus it was a digital copy, how bad could you want to return your switch and forget to delete one game.
Zora shrugs as she decides to press play. Then it had to download. With a shocked expression Zora says this. "WHAT!? Hold up, I purchased this switch yesterday how the hell is there already game on here that isn't loaded properly on the switch.." Namni just looked at Zora and looked back at the TV screen. Turns out it was still at midpoint which only made Zora even more concerned. "Okay. It's been like that for a while now.." Zora says as she approaches the switch to unplug it.
As Zora made her way to the switch. She tried to unplug it but instead got a shock. "OW- what the heck!?" Zora yelled as she stepped back. Namni also shock got up to check if her owner was okay. Zora was fine, she just got up and saw that the switch was still at its normal state, still on the loading page. Zora had a puzzled look, was there a ghost in this switch that decided to posses her TV!? Clearly not she hopes.
A few minutes of just staring at the TV, the tv screen turns white which caught the attention of Zora. She wasn't scared of course, she puts on a defensive display trying to protect her dog. "I don't know what the hell you are, but leave me, my dog and my home alone!" Zora shouted. The TV then turns black for a second, then back to white.
"Do not be afraid." The tv says as the words flashed on the screen. "You have been chosen, Zora." Zora looked confused, what the hell was this entity trying to tell her. "You are just a simple earth citizen. Yet, we see your potential." Zora and her dog looked at each other, then back at the screen. "What could you potentially see in me..?" Zora asked. "A potential challenger!" Zora tried to ask another question but then realized she was floating in the air which caught her off guard. "WOAH WOAH- WHAT ARE YOU DOING-!?" Zora screams as her dog howls. "To our world, Zora. Our world."
Suddenly the whole house began to shake as she realized, was this her way to say she's going to the afterlife!? "Oh well, this was fun. Can't believe I'm dying to a tv screen-" Her thoughts were interrupted as all she could see was white. Everything was blurry as she saw a figure, it was a silhouette of something she couldn't put her name on it.
Zora stares at the figure for a bit as she approaches it slowly. "Hey? Are you alive?" She asked as she stood an inch away from the thing. She wasn't to scared, she was more determined to figure out what the hell she was doing here. "Zora.." Zora tilted her head, now it knew her name, great.. "Zora. Is it not?" "Uhm, yes that is my name." They stared at each other for a while. "I shall give you a power. It will help you to succeed in battle."
A ball of light started to float towards her. She felt confused yet intrigued by the light. She touched it and the light beams into her. Then, everything faded black, the voice then said these words, "good luck, Zora."
