I hope your trip has been successful so far. Things here at home are just fine. We had some trouble a little while ago, but it's been taken care of. The Virginian hired someone new a few days ago and we've become good friends already. His name is Randy and he's a couple of years younger than I am. He's from somewhere down South and he's told me that both of his parents are no longer living. He's really nice and kind and he learns fast. He's also very polite and considerate. And he can be funny sometimes, too. I think you'll like him a lot. I never knew anyone quite like him. I can't wait for you to come home. Safe journey home.
