On the edge of the Solar System, a titanic alien warlord awaits the report of his advanced scout. Armed with the information his ever tricky accomplice provides him, the warlord will be well positioned to rain DEATH down upon the Earth! Anime canon (kinda). Written for the 30th Anniversary of Sailor Moon.

A/N: This is a gift for my friend SinJazz.

Many thanks to my beta for helping me with this fic.

The ship streaked through the spaceways, edging closer to the Sol star system.

The vessel's visage was the dread of a million worlds. Though its outline resembled that of a vulture, the starship did not chase death: it caused it.

Its small crew included some of the most vile malignants the universe had to offer. The first officer was a tall and lean figure. He had long, pencil-like fingers, and a pronounced forehead that, like his thin hair, was chalk white. His robes, in stark contrast, were almost entirely ebony.

The security chief (though his role was hardly necessary) was a massive mound of muscle. He wielded a massive hammer-like weapon that was his constant companion. Beneath his armour, he resembled a yellow tortoise without its shell, though his rough skin also gave the impression of tree bark.

Like the first officer, the engineering chief's skin was white and his robes were black, though even beneath his hood it was obvious he was of an entirely different species. Despite the array of weapons available to him, his preferred armament was a long double ended glaive.

His wife, the operations officer, might have passed for a human woman if not for her height, eternally sickly pallor and the horns that framed her amber eyes and curved upwards to frame the sides of her head.

Each individual's crimes were so severe their status upon the ship was measured by their respective body counts. It was therefore fitting that their captain had murdered more souls than all of them put together, his very name becoming synonymous with death itself.

Even sitting upon a throne of carved meteor rock, he struck an imposing figure. Over eight foot tall, with a broad, hulking physique that was clad in gold and royal blue armour. Only a fool would challenge him in combat; though such challenges did bring a smile to his purple, ridge-chinned face.

Despite his show of titanic majesty and authority, he did not seek to conquer or rule. Her courted death. Death was his one true goal, his glorious purpose. Though countless called him mad, he saw his life's mission as a kindness. Though the survivors of his war upon life might weep at first, in time they would praise his name. Relieved of so many mouths to feed, their worlds would then be free to flourish.

"Report." His deep, almost baritone voice, reverberated through the bridge of the ship.

The first officer telekinetically floated across the bridge, abasing himself at the foot of the throne.

"Our scout says he has completed his reconnaissance of the star system, my lord. He is ready to deliver his findings in person."

The warlord growled his approval. "Good."

Extending a left hand clad in a gleaming golden gauntlet, he tapped a button upon his throne. A raised platform in the corner of the bridge lit up in light blue. A young, human looking male with dark hair materialised upon the platform and stepped down from it.

Under other circumstances he might have looked regal, princely even. His attre sported forest green cloth, black leather, and bronze armour completed by a helmet from which two long horns extended. The effect however was ruined by the half incredulous, half haunted expression upon his face.

Whilst the four crew members shot confused and uncertain glances at one another, their leader remained stoic and unmoved. "It has been a long time, trickster." Ever so slightly, the warlord leaned forwards and fixed the newcomer with a chilling glare. "Remind me… what was your mission again?"

Each crew member shuffled back half an inch.

"To assess the population levels of this star system and the degree of resistance you might face here."

The robotic response did not amuse the warlord.

"That is correct. So…I trust you have a good reason for taking two years to report back to me."

"I do, my lord."

The newcomer was not looking at the warlord. Instead, his empty eyes were staring into blank space.

"Well then," the warlord replied, "I look forward to hearing it." He leaned back, the corner of his mouth twitching slightly, the ghost of a snarl that never came. He clicked another button and shrouded the scout in a crimson light. "This truth field will ensure that even your infamous silver tongue will not beguile us with lies."

A second passed before the newcomer spoke again, his emotionless, automatic tone remaining. "Among the astrological bodies within this star system, only one, that the natives call 'Earth', supports any life. Although… I believe maybe more did in the distant past." The scout paused, as if waiting for a response or reaction. When none came he pressed on. "When I first infiltrated the planet, Earth had only one technologically advanced species with a population of under six billion individuals. They do not however possess a united planetary government and have only sent manned exploration to their nearest orbiting moon."

The warlord's eyes narrowed. The crew, braver now, shot the scout barely disguised looks of disdain.

"You took two years to discover that this star system is barely out of its cradle?" said the operations officer.

Very slowly, the newcomer blinked exactly once. "There were… complications…"

"What sort of complications?" Growled the warlord, his temper bleeding through a mere fraction.

"The planet came under assault from other forces. I needed to wait and see if their invasions were successful as this would have drastically affected my findings."

Slowly, quietly, the warlord let out a controlled breath from his nostrils. "Well…that does change matters. Who were these invaders."

"In totality, there were nine invasion attempts from different organisations."

"Nine!?" the first officer exclaimed. He backed away when his master shot him a warning look.

"Yes, nine," the scout replied blankly. "If it pleases you my lord, I captured visuals to make my report more thorough." Without waiting for a reply, he held out a small silver disc in his hand. The centre of the device lit up and projected a holographic screen into the heart of the bridge.

"The first invasion came from a group who seemed native to the realm itself. They called themselves the Dark Kingdom."

The screen displayed the images of a woman with wild red hair and spikes growing out of her shoulders, flanked by four young human looking men in grey military uniforms.

"Their Great Ruler possessed magic that nearly blotted out the Sun, the name given to this system's central star."

It might have been a trick of the dimmed lights within the bridge, but the warlord's head seemed to twitch.

"That is...impressive. But they were clearly incompetant. Even from this distance, the star, this 'Sun', still shines brightly."

The scout made a strange sound. It was almost like a very small, very nervous, laugh.

"It was not incompetence on their part my lord. They met… opposition…"

"From who?" interjected the operations officer.

"The Sailor Senshi."

The hologram displayed four teenaged human girls in similar uniforms, though distinguished by individual colours of red, blue, green and orange.

"I have heard tales of such warriors native to this galaxy," said the warlord. "They do not seem as… formidable as I imagined though…" He did not bother hiding the scepticism beneath his words.

"Looks can be deceiving, especially when it comes to their leader."

The visual changed again, now depicting a blonde girl with long pigtails topped with twin hair buns.

"Moon Tiara Action!"

She tossed a glowing discus and a zombie-looking creature in a black dress screamed before crumbling into dust.

"A tiara?" scoffed the engineering chief. "Pathetic."

"It was not her only technique," countered the scout.

Sailor Moon's posture changed so that now she held aloft a pink wand topped by a yellow crescent moon.

"Moon Healing Escalation."

A bizarre winged humanoid with boxing gloves roared as a shower of shimmering dust fell upon him.

"Refresh!"

A moment later, a humble and meek man in religious looking garb stood in his place.

The warlord's mouth formed into a thin line. "So her magic could transform even her opponents. It proves nothing, beyond how inept this Dark Kingdom must have been to fall to these children."

"They were not so inept, my lord. Before they fell they succeeded in killing Sailor Moon's comrades."

The hologram cycled through the broken and unmoving bodies of the four girls from before, each of them surrounded by ice and snow.

"Bet that should have made the next invaders' lives easier," interjected the security chief.

"Not quite," replied the scout in a bored tone.

The hologram changed to display Sailor Moon now dressed in a regal white and gold dress and perched upon a platform of ice.

"The Dark Kingdom had almost blotted out the Sun completely when Sailor Moon destroyed their Great Ruler. When she did that she sacrificed her life, but in the process her magic resurrected both her and her comrades."

The warlord imperceptibly blinked. "That is not…unimpressive…"

The scout gave an automatic nod of his head before pressing onwards. "Following the eradication of the Dark Kingdom, came the first invasion from beyond this star system."

The screen changed, depicting a couple of green skinned youths, the taller of the pair with blue hair and the shorter with pink.

"And who exactly are these two?"

"I did not discover their names."

"Fine. What was the name of their organisation?"

"They had no organisation per se. They seemed to be acting alone, although they could conjure agents one at a time to help them."

The warlord's demeanour changed, a note of scolding underpinning his words. "I'd hardly call that an 'invasion'."

"Perhaps by typical definitions, but these two did not seek conquest. They intended to harvest energy from this planet to feed the Makai Tree."

The warlord raised an eyebrow, "A what tree?"

"My lord," the security chief interjected, "The Makai Tree is a sentient life form that takes root in a planet and feeds off the life energy of its victims. If left unchecked, it has the potential to drain all life from a planet. My own people feared its infiltration of our world. It is said to be unstoppable should it ever lose control."

"I take it then, that the tree did not lose control on Earth, trickster."

"Actually my lord… it did."

The security chief's jaw dropped.

"The next invasion," continued the scout, ignoring him, "came from the planet Nemesis. They were-"

"The planet what?" interjected the first officer.

"Nemesis. It is a phantom planet in this system. A black moon that changes its position."

"But you said only Earth supports life in this system," said the first officer.

"It does. But this Black Moon Clan hailed from a thousand years in the future where they had colonised Nemesis."

The image of the green alien youths gave way to a handsome, white haired young man who sat upon a throne of his own. He was flanked on his left by four women with a certain resemblance to one another. On his right stood a man in navy blue, a woman in emerald green and another man with flaming ruby red hair. Most of them wore at least one earring with a shard of ebony onyx dangling from it, but all of them had a black crescent moon branded on their foreheads.

"This pretty boy prince doesn't seem like much of a challenge," observed the warlord.

"Indeed my lord, though Prince Demande was merely a puppet for the clan's true master."

A cloaked and hooded figure eclipsed the eight youths.

The warlord cocked an eyebrow again. "And this is?"

"He went by the alias of Wiseman. Though his true identity was that of…Death Phantom."

A silent wave of motion rippled through the bridge.

"The Death Phantom," inquired the engineering chief, almost dropping his glaive. "I thought that entity was a story to scare children?"

"He was no mere story my lord. Though I dare say many children were frightened by him."

The engineering chief let out a derisive huff that did not completely hide his nervousness. "If he invaded the Earth, I'd hate to be the next person to try and take the planet. They'd have the fight of their lives to contend with."

The scout's mouth made a nervous and jerky movement, almost like he'd tried to sneer but the expression had died halfway through.

"Perhaps even Death Phantom might have struggled against the Xenian Flower."

The security chief dropped his warhammer. "The Makai Tree and the Xenian Flower targeted the Earth!?"

He shot a nervous glance at his master, though the purple behemoth merely gave him a dignified nod. At the nod, the security chief began to explain. "It is another plant entity that drains life, though it does so by multiplying its numbers, each individual plant seeking out hosts they can control and feed from."

"In this case, they used a member of the Makai's people as its spearhead host," added the scout. The hologram changed again, displaying a caped man who strongly resembled the green skinned, blue haired youth from the earlier image.

"Then, Death Phantom dealt with the Xenian Flower as it had with the Makai Tree?" asked the warlord.

The scout shook his head. "No. Death Phantom dealt with neither. The Xenian Flower invaded after the Makai Tree left the planet and, before Death Phantom had even secured a foothold. Not that his foothold was long lived."

"Lies!" decried the security chief, "Who could possibly dispatch the Makai Tree, let alone the Xenian Flower and Death Phantom!"

"It was Sailor Moon again," the scout replied bluntly.

This time Sailor Moon wielded a sceptre that ended in a crimson orb.

"Moon Princess Halation!"

A spiral of pink glitter emanated from the tip of the extended sceptre, illuminating twisted and gnarled tree roots.

"Cleansing!" said a disembodied voice.

"S-s-Sailor Moon ended the threat of the Makai Tree..." muttered the security chief.

The hologram morphed, now showing Sailor Moon on her knees and practically naked save the tattered ruby ribbons around her body. Her hands were held up to her chest where a silver crystal gently levitated. The hologram shifted, now focusing upon the lapel of her would-be assailant. There a flower was affixed, a tiny naked woman protruding from its centre. She screamed and disintegrated as the silver light of the crystal hit her.

The hologram shimmered once more, this time depicting Sailor Moon alongside a small pink haired girl who strongly resembled her. The pair were floating in the air, each of them holding a silver crystal aloft and repelling black bolts of energy fired from the cloaked Death Phantom.

The security chief dropped his hammer again, utterly lost for words.

"The next invasion," continued the scout, as if nothing had happened, "came from the Death Busters, residents of the Tau Nebula."

Holograms of a man in a lab coat along with a woman in a low cut red dress and five younger women, each with a black star around their necks, appeared.

"As expected, Sailor Moon got in their way."

Sailor Moon reappeared, spinning a new item like a batton before lifting it into the air.

"Moon Spiral Heart Attack!"

From the red heart shaped end of the weapon shot another heart, this one pink and gargantuan. A purple humanoid with feline features stood helpless before the heart wall as it collided directly into her!

"Lovely!"

"... But…" began the warlord, the creature's deathcry echoing through the control room "...The Tau Nebula is home to…"

The hologram returned to the scientist and his entourage. Except now they were now dwarfed by a massive entity that resembled a planet, albeit with a strange gaping hole akin to a mouth.

"...Pharaoh 90 came to this system…?" Even the warlord could not keep the incredulousness from his voice.

The scout nodded. "Thanks to the legendary Holy Grail."

"The Grail is on Earth!?" the engineering chief exclaimed.

The warlord slammed his fist down. "Ridiculous! Five schoolgirls could never defeat an entity as mighty as Pharaoh 90!"

"Actually, by then there were ten schoolgirls, my lord."

The hologram shifted to display five new Sailor Senshi. Whilst three were older, the other two girls were even younger than Sailor Moon and her initial four comrades.

"And as a matter of fact, it was Sailor Moon alone who defeated the Pharaoh."

Though her weapon and pose was the same as before, Sailor Moon now sported a new outfit, noticeably with a white skirt rather than a blue one and longer ribbons at the back of her uniform.

"Rainbow Moon Heart Ache!"

A rainbow flashed across the display before another poor unfortunate creature collided with the pink heart wall.

"Love-Lovely!"

"As Super Sailor Moon, she seemingly tapped a new level of power that made her quite formid-"

"It doesn't matter!" Snarled the warlord. "You are seriously suggesting that this child not only defeated Pharaoh 90…but did so after he obtained the Holy Grail."

"...Yes…"

Though he controlled himself, the scout's bluntness took the warlord aback. Silently he watched on as another familiar face popped up on the display.

"During the Pharaoh's invasion attempts, Princess Snow Kaguya tried and failed to make the Earth the latest addition to her collection of frozen worlds."

A pale white and blue woman garbed in long white silks illuminated the dark room.

The engineering chief shot a confused look at his wife who was glaring at the scout with a sceptical expression. "I suppose Sailor Moon defeated her too?" the operations officer said mockingly.

"You suppose correctly," came the bored reply.

Their hands linked together, eight Sailor Senshi stood in a circle. Levitating at their centre was Super Sailor Moon, their uniforms glowing whiter than the ice and snow surrounding them.

"Of course. Why not," the operations officer replied sarcastically. "What's next? Sailor Moon triumphs over a… a demonic circus!?"

The scout, the dark rings under his eyes suddenly all too visible, let out a half a groan, half a sigh, as the snow princess disappeared. She was replaced by a wizened, almost insect-like old woman surrounded by a gang of circus performers. Behind her stood an ornate mirror within which was a beautiful and terrible woman with long, black curly hair.

"Behold the Dead Moon Circus, the heralds of Queen Nehalennia, who infiltrated Earth during its last solar eclipse," he droned.

"But…I've heard tales of a Queen of nightmares who lives within a mirror," piped up the first officer. "She is said to have the power to corrupt the very heart of a planet…You are saying Sailor Moon even beat her!?"

Super Sailor Moon reappeared, wielding a pink item with a gold hilt that somewhat resembled a sword. Despite this resemblance, she knelt down and thrust out the weapon almost like a rifle.

"Moon Gorgeous Meditation!"

The hologram seemed to malfunction, generating a kaleidoscope of light that broke into shards of glass. This was followed by what seemed to be a large beach ball yelling in shock.

"Stage Out!"

A shadow on the ground emitted a puff of smoke before blinking out of existence.

"It may well have been Nehalennia," replied the scout. "Or it might have been Queen Badiane." A new image of a proverbial giant in red, beige and black robes stole space within the bridge. "In either case, Sailor Moon did not defeat either of them alone. Sailor Chibi-Moon was integral to their victory on both those occasions."

Super Sailor Moon and one of the two youngest Senshi flew at the giantess, each of them grasping a twin pair of the pink sword-like weapons.

"If it makes you feel any better, Queen Nehalennia was not completely defeated. She returned and nearly killed all the Sailor Senshi. But by then she had to contend with Eternal Sailor Moon's power..."

A Sailor Moon with a more yellow skirt, round pink shoulder-pads and angelic wings appeared.

"Her magic was so powerful that she recreated the nightmare queen's old kingdom and turned her back into a child, giving her the chance to live a new life."

"Enough, trickster!"

All eyes turned to the operations officer. She stomped across the bridge and snatched the scout's disc device.

"Your silver tongue has grown rusty! Or perhaps in your arrogance you thought we'd believe such outlandish lies!" She hurled the disc device away. "My lord, the truth field is obviously malfunc- AH!" The operations officer shrieked and leapt away, cowering behind her husband.

Standing in the corner of the control room was a woman in gleaming golden armour, and sporting a pair of bracelets to match.

"Run! It's The Golden Queen herself! Galaxia!"

Even the warlord's eyes widened in shock as the occupants of the bridge visibly tensed. The scout however was perfectly relaxed. He simply walked out of the crimson truth field and retrieved the disc device, Galaxia's image immediately disappearing.

"The Shadow Galactica," he began nonchalantly upon returning to the field, "invaded mere months ago."

Four women in vaguely similar uniforms, but matching golden bracelets, flanked a gleaming auric throne. One was small and mousey. One wore black leather affixed with bells. Two leaned back to back, their bronze and blue outfits pleasantly contrasting one another. And, in the throne itself, sat Galaxia.

The Golden Queen's image loomed large over the warlord, and her face gave the impression that she was looking down derisively upon him, a smirk upon her face. "Check the truth field!" he barked.

The first officer telekinetically levitated over to a set of controls, though he shrank away from the golden hologram, as if it might burn him. "T-t-the truth field is working perfectly my lord."

The operations officer made a strange guttural noise from the back of her throat. In contrast, the warlord gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.

"Taking this system will indeed be difficult if I am to contend with the infamous Shadow Galactica. It would be best to pull back for the time being. It will take careful planning if we are to achieve our goal in this sector of space. Although, perhaps if… Trickster, just how many of her agents has Galaxia employed in this system?"

"She has employed all four, my lord."

"And how many agents does she have in reserve?"

"None. She only ever needed four agents to begin with."

"Have any of them fallen in combat?"

"Yes my lord. All four in fact."

"...No….No, you can't mean that…Even them!?"

In answer to the first officer, Eternal Sailor Moon reappeared, spinning a bejewelled tiare.

"Starlight Honey Moon Therapy Kiss!"

The image shifted so that Eternal Sailor Moon now wielded an identical item, albeit with an elongated handle.

"Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss!"

An array of freakish individuals appeared, all wearing items of clothing that, one way or another, resembled the Senshi's uniforms. There was little consistency between any of them, save for the single word they all uttered amidst a flurry of glittering white feathers.

"Beautiful!"

The warlord seemed to relax slightly, leaning forwards and placing the tips of his fingers together.

"It seems the situation is not so hopeless. With her agents defeated, Galaxia will likely intervene herself. If Sailor Moon and her comrades are as powerful as you claim trickster, Galaxia will no doubt be exhausted by the battle. Once she slays our mutual enemies we can strike her unawares and then-"

The warlord's words abruptly halted as the bridge was suddenly bathed in a blinding golden light!

Scrabbling to find the right button, the first officer succeeded in blocking much of the illumination, though the control room was still bright as daylight.

Through the now tinted windows, they all observed millions of glittering crystals floating gently floating across the void of space.

"What…What are those?" said the warlord, trying to sound in control.

"Those are Star Seeds," droned the scout. He alone seemed unmoved by the strange occurrence.

"Star Seeds?" said the operations officer weakly. "But… that's what the Shadow Galactica seek out? What are so many doing here?"

"And why are they travelling in one direction?" Added the security chief.

"It's as if they're being..."

The first officer finished the engineering chief's sentence. "... guided?"

Exempting the scout, everyone on the bridge dropped their jaws at the sight beyond the window.

Flying upon angelic wings of her own was an unclothed woman with long, curley, sunset golden hair framing a beautiful, and very familiar, face. She seemed to be shepherding the Star Seeds but paused for a moment when she spotted the starship. Flying up to the front window she waved and gave them all a warm, friendly smile. It was quite unlike the cocky and derisive smirk of her holographic counterpart.

The bridge was utterly still and silent. It remained so for several minutes even after the woman and her Star Seeds had departed.

"That… That was Galaxia…"

The warlord's stunned words hung rather limply amidst the silence.

"Yes my lord," replied the scout, breathing the words out defeatedly.

The warlord blinked then furrowed his brow. "I don't….I can't…It's impossible for anyone to...How…How…!?"

The scout let out a very deep, very low, sigh.

"...I think you know, my lord…"

One final hologram. A naked young woman with white wings, a silver crystal flower embedded into her chest and blonde pigtails topped with two hair buns.

As the woman gently smiled out from the hologram, the entire bridge crew suddenly looked as exhausted as the scout.

"By my reckoning that would be her two hundredth victory."

Dead eyed and lethargic, the other crew members turned towards the warlord.

Slowly, he recomposed his face into something resembling a stoic expression.

"... After careful consideration I have decided it would be best to avoid this Sola-…Galaxy…It will be among the surviving half when….if….our mission is ever completed."

With that, the warlord and crew turned the ship around and fled as fast as they possibly could.

A/N: Well…this was a wacky fic to write. I was originally going to publish it in January but delayed it because I got busy. It is basically intended to celebrate the triumphant, bad ass aspect of Usagi. I kind of did that already in 'Buu vs. the Blonde', but I feel that story was in part celebrating the goofy awesomeness of her annihilating bad guys with glitter, sparkles and giant pink hearts, whereas this is actually pointing out her immense win count. Who better to use for that than a marvel villain of titanic magnitude.

Also, this fic I guess celebrates Usagi's attacks and weapons too.

Just to let you know I am involved in a discord called 'Moonlight Legends' which is dedicated to sharing all sorts of Sailor Moon fanworks, including other fanfics. If you would like to join so you can share your own work, get help with your current projects or just connect to other fan creators shoot me a PM and I'll send you an invite. All are welcome!
