Amira's pov:

After that encounter with the General I made sure to avoid him as that was too close of a call but then we had to always stay hidden. I kept my hair up so Sierra could tell if he was nearby and for another eight years we never seen him again. We hadn't even seen our half brother since he'd went to the little palace some time ago.

Mom and Dad said we were old enough to go to the secret Grisha Nightclub and so we did but we dressed nicely for it. Dad bought us new clothes so we could dance pretty and I was excited about it. Sierra was nervous and sadly Nico couldn't go because of it being Grisha only. I hated that but who was I to argue with them?

As we went dad was starting to explain things "They're going to use this stone near your neck, if you've crossed paths with your soulmate his or her mark will appear on your neck girls." Dad said as he showed the one on moms before she covered it with her hair again. I was nervous cause I knew the truth and Dad didn't yet. As we walked in there was a group of humans in the front and that was to make druskelle unaware of things but as we walked to the Grisha section I looked over seeing Sierra looking and noticing a couple making out.

I wonder what that'd be like..to have someone the way mom and dad do. I bet Sierra thinks the same thing. I thought

I took my sister's hand as she looked at me and I smiled at her before we headed toward the spot. A man who was talking to dad was looking at Dad's wrist that had a Tidemaker mark and then mom revealed her soulmate mark with the Sun Summoner mark. "I see..are these your girls? Both Grisha?" The man asked dad as he nod. "Alright girls, this is simple. I'm gonna put this by your neck if you've met your soulmate their power mark will appear if not then you haven't. Have to know if we're having anyone important. Who wants to go first?" The man asked as we looked at each other but Sierra said she would.

I watched as the man did but nothing happened so Sierra hadn't met her soulmate yet. When he looked at me I knew it the truth was inevitable as I walked over. when he put it near my neck and I felt the tingling I heard the man gasp. "Your daughter here is the soulmate to the black General. Gives you guys free reign of the nightclub including vip section." He said

The anger in dad's eyes was undeniable as we walked in but he'd put wristbands on our wrists so I didn't have to take the risk of being here. Once inside Dad pulled me aside "Stay away from him." Dad said as I nod but I was an adult now. Not that I thought he'd be here running 2nd army but I was wrong even the General got breaks.

Our parents went into a section meant specifically for soulmates and so our parents left us alone. So we checked out the area and that's when we ran into our brother. He looked at us at first not recognizing us but then he noticed my necklace...dad's necklace given to him by grandma. "You..You're my sisters" Aiden said as we were shocked and he hugged us. "Oh..you're here but you're not in first or 2nd army..what are your name?" Our brother asked

"I'm Amira and this is Sierra" I said introducing ourselves as he noticed we were wearing vip wristbands. "Uh why are you wearing Vip wristbands?" Aiden asked as I knew why but I just pointed at his outfit. "What are you wearing?" I asked as he looked down. "My kefta, I'm 2nd army which neither one of you are. You got past testers." Aiden said as I shrugged but then I felt it and Sierra looked moving my hair seeing it. "he's here.." Sierra said

Aiden gasped seeing the soulmate mark on me as it was the General's and he realized I got the family in. I shrugged again and I took my sister's hand to walk away and we did.

Aleksander's pov:

The Grisha nightclub was a place I was aware of, most Grisha went there because it was a secret area. I'd brought some 2nd army here just to give them time. When I arrived I felt it on my wrists again as I looked. Seeing the Sun Summoner symbol on one wrist and Tidemaker on the other. My soulmate was here somewhere only where. When the man checked my wrist he noticed I showed the one with the Sun Summoner. "So that's what that girl is..the sun saint. She's here with her twin sister and her parents." The man said as he thought about it "Pretty brunette with blue eyes."

Brunette with blue eyes I thought

I remembered years ago running into those twin girls and they'd ran from me, I thought I'd seen it there on the brunette twin my power mark but she'd ran. Of course since I was the most powerful I also got the vip special so I'd be able to find her. People were all talking when I walked past them but since it didn't matter Grisha ranks here we were around.

It caught my eye when I saw one of my squallers walking through a crowd and I watched the way he moved until he came over to two girls. It was when I saw one was brunette with blue eyes and the other was black haired with blue eyes did I realize that they were related. I knew their father could be anywhere close but I didn't see him.

Still I walked past them as I listened "Amira, the drinks are over there but be mindful of who you talk to. Your soulmate when you meet him is not going to be wanting to share." Aiden said as his sister seemed to be looking around before her eyes landed on me. She seemed shocked that I was there so close but I just kept walking.

The night is still young Amira..we'll meet soon enough. I thought
