Sierra's pov:

My sister and I were enjoying ourselves but then Aiden came over explaining some things but even I was shocked. Still I was glad Amira had such an important Grisha soulmate since it gave us the VIP special. Yet I looked where mom and dad went seeing it had a sign saying 'Soulmates only' meaning only Grisha soulmates who had met could go together.

Amira could go past there if she finds the General. I thought

Then I noticed Amira looking at something and when I looked I saw it was the General. He was walking past but his eyes were locked with Amira's that she didn't even move. I snapped my fingers infront of her and she blinked before she looked at me. "You ok Ami?" I asked as Amira nod.

It's merely a matter of time.. I thought

Amira's pov:

I led my sister to get a drink and we figured we'd have to pay but as soon as they saw the vip bands on her wrists we were able to get drinks easily. I realized that maybe this wasn't so bad being the General's Grisha soulmate but still I had my doubts. We accepted our drinks then went to sit down. I sipped on mine but as I locked eyes with the General it was this weird feeling over me.

I must have been in like a trance cause my twin sister snapped her figures as I blinked and looked at her. "You ok Ami?" Sierra asked using the nickname she gave me as I nod. "I'm fine." I said

Aiden led Sierra away to show her something but I insisted to sit and relax while enjoying my drink. I was in my thoughts when I noticed someone approaching and looked up seeing the General...my Grisha soulmate by this mark. "The man at the front informed me of you. He failed to mention how stunning you look in that dress." General Kirigan said as I took a sip of my drink wondering if he said that to all Grisha girls. "Thank you General. But I'm waiting for my brother and sister to return." I said trying to keep him at a distance.

"So you're not curious at all? What happens in the soulmate section?" He asked as I didn't want to admit to him that I was curious. I had theories about it. Theories that well soulmates who were not married like my parents used it to hook up. I never questioned what my parents used it for as that was none of my business. "Maybe a little but soulmates only and I told my sister and brother I'd wait here." I said as he seemed curious about me. "Have we met before? Perhaps in the woods?" The General asked

I looked the same as I did then only older and my hair was longer as I looked at him. "I think I'd remember meeting you General, but I have heard stories of you. Fascinating ones about a time you stopped the enemy from killing a group of Tidemakers and inferni." I said as I knew my mother lied to him that my sister and I were not Grisha. I wear is Grisha symbol not by choice but by the choice of the saints. "So tell me Miss.." He didn't know my name which gave me an advantage. "Amira.." I said

He took my hand and kissed the top of it "Would you want to check out the soulmate area? I, have been curious about it myself but until I found my soulmate they would not allow me in." He said as I admit I was curious but my parents were there too. I was about to answer when my siblings came back and I took a sip of my drink as my sister walked over. "Ami?" Sierra said as the General hadn't let my hand go. "General, I see you've met my sister Amira and this is my sister Sierra." Aiden said

General seemed curious as he looked at me but since Sierra didn't have a mark it was clear I was the rare one here. "I see, I was just asking Amira if she wanted to check out the soulmate area. With her being my Grisha soulmate." He said as Aiden seemed to look curious but then looked at me. "Well, this is a good opportunity for you to check it out and see what goes on there. I'm sure that Sierra is curious." Aiden said

"Uh yeah.." Sierra said but we both knew that mom and dad were in there too. I finished my drink as I knew that it was time for me to take a risk. "I don't see a problem with checking it out. Aiden stay with Sierra?" I asked as Aiden nod but then led Sierra away.

Hopefully mom and dad don't see me. I thought

He kept hold of my hand as he led me to the soulmate area, I knew that it was not going to be easy but we both had to show our soulmate mark. I noticed he was only showing my Sun symbol which was fine. Not everyone needed to know I was more than a Sun Summoner as the man called someone and we were led to a room. I noticed the rooms we passed by were filled with soulmates and I heard...noises coming from some of them.

Once we were led to a room he let me walk in before he walked in behind me and the door was closed. I looked at the room seeing there were special things but a couch and then another door. I didn't even want to know what was behind that door at the moment as I noticed the General start to remove his Kefta then his General coat as I seen he was in normal clothes. It seemed shocking to me that this man could be normal in some way?

What have I walked myself into? Perhaps they give something to eat or drink that tempts Grisha soulmates to do such activities? I thought
