He walked over to the door checking what it connected to as he smirked slightly but I didn't want to know..not yet anyway. I took a seat on the couch as I knew this was going to be something I probably wouldn't forget. I questioned what I walked into but he seemed to be checking things out. "You ever been to a club before Amira?" He asked as I looked at him. "No, I'm afraid not General. First time coming to a club and I certainly did not think I'd have your mark on my neck." I said though that was a lie because I knew that he was my grisha soulmate since he first arrived at my home.
Suddenly the door came open as someone brought in drinks offering one to both of us as I took it and he took the other then left us. I looked at it wondering what exactly was in this and was every grisha soulmate pair gave it. When he came to join me on the couch he looked at me and seemed to be taking in my features. "You're Amara's daughter, are you not? She lied the day I came to visit saying that her girls were not Grisha." He said as I looked at him wondering what he meant as I took a sip of the drink.
He showed me his wrists that had both my small science on either wrist "Everytime you and I have been in close contact your symbols show up. We don't have a term for your kind of power, one who is not only one small science but two." He said as I looked at the symbols but took a sip of the drink again. "my sister calls it Dual summoning, I'm not the only one in the family who has it but I am the only tidemaker and Sun Summoner." I said as I knew that was the truth and he drank the drink.
"So you're the only one like this..what is the other?" He asked as if he could get answers. I knew my cousin was but then he was not looking for him as I looked at him "Tidemaker and Inferni." I said as I got up to walk around the room having more of the drink. The taste was odd but then I don't drink very often, in fact I'd almost say something was in the drink as I kept drinking it but as I walked around to check the room finally looking where he had seeing the room that had a bed.
Soulmate rooms...used for hooking up? Maybe I shouldn't be here.. I thought
I had drank most of the drink so that thought was a bit late as I noticed I was feeling different. When I turned to walk away from the ring I noticed I met him face to face though he was taller than me by a few inches I was able to still look at him. I even noticed he had drank most of his drink and he was seeming to take in my appearance as he looked at my eyes before my lips.
Placing a hand under my chin he lifted my head a little as he leaned down and I should have innerly panicked but I was distracted by the new feeling within me as he got close that I could feel his breath. "You can stop me.." He whispered as I felt so tempted by him and I closed the gap between our lips.
He kissed me as we both were entranced by the feeling within us that I hadn't even done a whole lot of thinking about what was happening. As we kissed for a few minutes we eventually parted long enough to finish the drinks and set them aside. Once that was done he had his mouth on mine again as we kissed. I felt him lift up the dress I had so he could get a good grip picking me up and setting me on the table as we made out.
His hands were on the back of my dress where it was keeping it on me but he pulled away and I didn't like that he did. "why?" I asked as he seemed to be looking at me. My mind wasn't thinking clearly after that drink and my body felt like it wanted something but what it was I couldn't figure out for sure.
"You're beautiful...but are you sure about this?" He asked as if he was looking for my consent with what was going on. I didn't know what to say at the moment as I looked at him knowing that I could regret this later. I should have probably said no considering I barely knew him but we were soulmates..this may have been our only interaction as my father would never allow me to be with him.
Father would stand in the way of what the saints have deemed to be...and he said no that I'd never be around this man.. I thought
I knew my actions to come in this room with him is what had led me here as I knew I had to answer him. He was waiting for the answer from my mouth that would either make this moment go to another level or we would just reamin as were right now. His lips were close to mine still as he waited for my answer..
"Yes." I said
