The members of the Shinigami Women's Association invite the princess out for a day at the beach, giving her a chance to spend quality time with her children. On their way, a little shopping trip for new swimsuits leads to a certain overprotective father to oversee swimsuit choices. Meanwhile, a few members of the SWA have better ideas. Inspired by the beach episode. Leads up to The Zanpakuto Uprising: Inner Soul.

Daichi led Raiko by the hand, guiding her up the stairs. He pointed to the microphone in the lone light.

"Go on," Daichi said. "It's your big moment. You can do it!"

Raiko walked slowly to the microphone. She tapped on it.

"Your lines!" Daichi called.

"Okay. AHEM!" She snatched up the microphone.

"Previously on Bleach: Across the Dimensions!

"Once there was a princess - other than me - who was sold to the family of the evil Soul King."

"Back when the emperor was in power!" Daichi added.

"Yes, but we're here now. And the king's here now."

"That abomination!" Lafiel yelled from backstage. "He's here?"

"Not yet, Aunt Lafiel. That happens later," Raiko called back. "Okay, back to the script," Raiko said.

"The only kind people to her were the younger prince - he's my dad - and his teacher, Zangetsu, who was the princess' first love.

"The princess was reincarnated many times until we're at mama now, Shirahime Thorne, fifth division taicho and rightful wife of Papa Yuki."

"Sister! The audience may not know who he is!" Daichi called.

"He's my dad! So is Shinjiro!"

"Let me fill in!" Lafiel called. "The rightful wife of Crown Prince Shiroyuki, the next Soul King."

Sierra, fukutaicho of the Shinnouhi Royal Guard walked in. "Xaiogu," she said to Raiko. "I need to fill in the next part."

"Now, audience, let's get a few things straight:

"One, the Soul King is the enemy.

"Two, whoever put that abomination on the throne and whoever keeps him there is the enemy.

"Three, zero division is the enemy and can't be trusted.

"Except of course for us - the Shinnouhi Royal Guard - and Crown Prince Shiroyuki's Guards.

"If you're here for just Ichigo Kurosaki's story, you may be waiting a long time. This is Shinnouhi's story after all. But remember Shinnouhi's words, zero division and the traitors in Soul Society have bad plans for Ichigo. You may want to cheer for Ichigo to become the king, but you don't know the ugliness the truth of it is.

"Shirayukihime Shinnouhi and Crown Prince Shiroyuki want to save us all, so let's pray, hope, or whatever it is you believe, that they'll defeat the king and his forces.

"When Shiroyuki becomes the king, Shinnouhi will be free. She can be with whomever she wants and be reunited with all her children.

"Speaking of which, allow me to introduce - ," She held a hand out to Daichi, "Prince Daichi, twelfth son of Crown Prince Shiroyuki and Shirayukihime Shinnouhi and -," she nodded to Raiko, "Princess Raiko, fourteenth daughter of Crown Prince Shiroyuki and Shirayukihime Shinnouhi."

"Thank you, Sierra," Daichi interrupted. "But, if you keep this up, you'll be stealing the show. Let my sister continue."

"Okay, okay, I'll be in the back with Lafiel. That's Shinnouhi's younger twin sister, by the way. They are identical." She walked off-stage.

"I'm Raiko," Raiko continued. "The physical incarnation of Daichi's zanpakuto, Aoi Raiko. But I'm not really a zanpakuto. Just like Kosetsu. Mama tried to trick the bad man. He knows about me now.

"But I hope today can be fun for mama. We can put our fight with the bad man aside." She paused.

"How did I do, Daichi?" she asked.

"You did good, sister," he said. "Now, let's go. Taping starts in five minutes."

"Where are we going?"

"Well, you're going to Byakuya Kuchiki's house. I'm practicing with Papa Yumi and Papa Kenny."

"Ooh! Will Bya-kun be having a baby with mama?"

"Let's hope so. You're about to find out!"

SOUL SOCIETY - KUCHIKI MANOR

Byakuya Kuchiki tried not to sweat as he led Shirahime around. She had her eyes closed, her hand tightly around his.

"Does this surprise of yours involve getting naked?" she asked.

"Why - why do you ask?" he stammered.

"Generally, a good guess."

"I would never turn down your desire to -."

"I don't recall saying I planned to."

"Right. Anyways, just a little further."

Looking on, the members of the Shinigami Women's Association turned many shades of pink - except Shirahime's kids, her two sisters, and one of her guard members, Sierra.

Raiko hugged her sister Yachiru. "This means mama's having another baby, right?"

Nanao blushed. Kuchiki was so lucky.

Retsu recalled a certain night fondly.

"Well now that Bya-kun stopped calling you a sword, I don't mind," Yachiru said. "Perhaps we should watch to make sure no one interferes."

"A good idea," their Aunt Lafiel encouraged. "Another niece or nephew!"

"Sister can do better than Kuchiki," their Aunt Soi Fon complained.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Rukia asked.

"I don't think your mom wants you to watch that," Rangiku said.

"I really don't want to see that with my brother," Rukia complained.

"Father Mayuri-sama will be so jealous," Nemu said. "I shall tell him to impregnate her next."

"Him?" Rangiku asked.

"Of course," she said. "Mother is happiest with her children. She should have more."

"Oh," Momo fretted, "how am I going to explain to Daichi I just watched his mom get pregnant?"

"Taicho's going to be so jealous," Rangiku admitted. "So will my Ken-bear."

"Ken-bear?" Retsu asked.

"What is the meaning of this?" Byakuya asked.

The group watched as he stumbled upon their pool.

Shirahime opened her eyes.

"A pool?" she asked. "A pool! I didn't bring a bathing suit. Guess I'll just have to take this off."

"Scatter, Senbonzakura."

One thousand little pink blades exploded the pool.

"Were you going to take your clothes off?" Byakuya asked, realizing what she said too late.

"Guess not," she said quickly,

"By all means -."

"No, it's alright."

"Bya-kun is such a meanie!" Yachiru exclaimed. "Our pool!"

The two turned to see the spies.

"Oh, keep going," Raiko said. "Isn't it time to give mama the new baby?"

"What?" Shirahime shrieked.

Not this again.

"Raiko, what has my sister been teaching you?" Shirahime asked.

"Don't look at me," Soi Fon said.

"Not you," Shirahime said.

Her other sister and twin, Lafiel, waved.

"Well, you heard Raiko, Byakuya," Lafiel said. "Baby making time."

"Not in public!" Shirahime exclaimed.

"But you spend lots of quality time in public," Raiko said.

"Um, Raiko darling, it is a kind of quality time you don't spend in public."

"Okay, everybody then," Raiko said, "let's go so it's not so public. Bya-kun be sure to give mama another baby, okay? Chiru-onee-san and I are counting on it!"

"And should you fail to do so," Nemu said, "I am sure father Mayuri-sama will provide. Let us depart."

"I'm actually jealous of men now," Nanao admitted as they departed.

"He said what now?"

The entire eleventh division was now privy to Kenpachi's conversation with Retsu Unohana.

"Idiot really missed an opportunity," Kenpachi said.

"So he did," Unohana agreed.

"Gods . . . moments like this, it really hurts," he said.

Retsu took his hand.

"One day," she said, "that king will be off the throne, and the threat will be gone. When that day comes, you can see her again."

"I know."

"It really hurts her, too, you know. Sometimes I think she throws herself so much into her work - or giving Kuchiki yet another chance - to put all the pain behind her. She still loves you. She would have picked you. She always picked you."

"Sometimes, I just want to -."

"They'll find out. You know that can't happen. It should just make you want to savor their deaths even more."

"Yachiru still thinks we'll have another child together."

"She doesn't quite understand. She kind of understands she's from a different incarnation. It is hard to expect her to understand she is your child together but not - made - together in that way."

"Is Shirahime back - together - again?"

"Almost. And I think she knows it. I think she's nervous about the time she'll actually get pregnant. There is a running gag around here about it, but one day, she'll come in with morning sickness. I can just see it."

"I just wish I would be the cause of it."

"Just don't let it stand in the way of your relationship with Rangiku. I don't think you and I could go back to our old days, but you shouldn't let go of something good."

"If it was the three of us again -."

"Imagine how hard I've been trying to get Shirahime back without that tea."

"You do give her medical exams."

"I don't take advantage - much."

"Maybe Kurotsuchi could make us some more."

"Probably only if we included him. He's like a lost puppy."

"You know, Retsu, I think sometimes he'll be the one to end up with her. Or that bratty Hitsugaya."

Thorne (Shihoin), Shirahime: Current fifth division taicho. As the reincarnation of Shirayukihime no Tenjou, a member of the royal family, she possesses great spiritual power even though she is still human. Unlike other shinigami, she has two zanpakutos. In her current life, she is engaged to Crown Prince Shiroyuki despite any feelings she may have for others. She is mother via Shirayukihime of Yachiru's previous incarnation. Throughout her lifetimes, she had twelve sons and fourteen daughters with Crown Prince Shiroyuki. Her known living children acknowledge at least one second father. They are Yachiru Kusajishi (with Kenpachi Zaraki), Daichi Thorne Takeya (with Yumichika "Yumi" Ayasegawa), and Raiko Thorne Takeya (with Shinjiro Kita). She considers Kosetsu her eldest child. She considers Nemu Kurotsuchi her daughter. She is the daughter of Kisuke Urahara and Yoruichi Shihoin and Lafiel Urahara's elder identical twin sister. Soi Fon is her honorary sister. Zanpakuto: Kosetsu Ryu and Yukihime (no Tenjou).

Ayasegawa, Yumichika: Fifth seat of the eleventh division. Shirahime's former lover who is now in "the doghouse" due to his previous treatment of her. Father of Daichi.

Hinamori, Momo: Fifth division fukutaicho. She is unsure of her feelings for Daichi Takeya.

Hitsugaya, Toshiro: Tenth division taicho who is in love with Shirahime. Despite appearance, he is an adult, though he hides it. Shirahime already knew about this secret.

Kita, Shinjiro: Fifth seat of the fifth division. Shirahime's best friend and Raiko's father.

Kuchiki, Byakuya: Sixth division taicho. Has an on-again-off-again relationship with Shirahime.

Kurotsuchi, Mayuri: Twelfth division taicho. Creator of Nemu and Lafiel.

Kusajishi, Yachiru: The present incarnation of Shirayukihime no Tenjou's daughter, Princess Hikari. She considers Kenpachi Zaraki her father and Shirahime her mother. Crown Prince Shiroyuki named her his heir. Likes to play with Shirahime's zanpakuto Kosetsu Ryu.

Shihoin, Yoruichi: Reincarnation of Shirayukime's mother. Exiled shinigami. Close to her daughters and grandchildren.

Sierra: Fukutaicho of the Shinnouhi Royal Guard. She is determined to become Daichi's wife.

Soi Fon: Second division taicho. Honorary sister of Shirahime Thorne and Lafiel Urahara.

Takeya, Daichi Thorne: Shirahime's son and elder twin brother of Raiko. Has growing feelings for Momo Hinamori. He is unsure of his feelings for Sierra who declared she would become his wife. Zanpakuto: Aoi Raiko.

Takeya, Raiko Thorne: The incarnation of Daichi's zanpakuto, Aoi Raiko. Actually his younger twin sister, though some believe she is just a zanpakuto spirit.

Unohana, Retsu: Fourth division taicho. Thanks to a twelfth division experiment, she once spent the night with Shirahime and Kenpachi. Tries to have a romantic relationship with Shirahime, even though the princess only likes men.

Urahara, Kisuke: Reincarnation of Shirayukihime's father. Exiled shinigami. A protective parent.

Urahara, Lafiel: Third seat of the second division. A mod soul that failed to separate Shirahime's human and shinigami selves. At Shirahime's insistence, Mayuri Kurotsuchi created a body for her like Nemu's. She is considered Shirahime's identical younger twin sister and adopted the name of her father, Kisuke Urahara.

Zaraki, Kenpachi: Eleventh division taicho, father to Yachiru and father figure to Shirahime's other children. He is the reincarnation of Shirahime Thorne's human fiancé. Once engaged to Shirahime during their time in Soul Society. Shirahime broke up with him after zero division kidnapped her, sparking suspicion behind why she really broke up with him. Now in a relationship with Rangiku Matsumoto.

Zanpakuto:

Aoi Raiko: Daichi's zanpakuto.

Kosetsu Ryu: Kosetsu Ryu and Yukihime are Shirahime's zanpakutos. Forms: with zanpakuto: snow dragon; independent of zanpakuto: small ice dragon. Yachiru likes to play with him.

Yukihime: Yukihime and Kosetsu are Shirahime's zanpakutos. She is the incarnation of Shirayukihime's powers.
