Okay, I have decided to rework this story.

I am gonna use this as a kick start to potentially start off several crossovers if you all would like to read them. Same premise as this story, just different holders of the gem.

So, if you guys want to give me ideas on who gets to use the gem, over on pat re on there will be a post specifically for that.

I will have my own preferences with some things, like this story with Hinata getting it. However, if enough people vote for a different girl, even if I don't like her, I will write the story.

I hope I do this story better.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Sasuke vs. Naruto=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Naruto stood upon the statue of Hashirama, across the river from Sasuke, who stood upon Madara's statue.

Both were exhausted, bruised and broken.

One had a brilliant idea.

Naruto accepted what energy Kurama had left, purifying it with his own, running it through his own core and making it more his own and running it through the sage mark.

Sasuke, having gotten impatient, jumped at his best friend.

Naruto followed suit, allowing them to clash in midair. Sasuke took this chance to use his rinne-sharingan to absorb what chakra he could pull from Naruto, only to stop as he noticed the idiot's smirk.

Sasuke and Naruto landed in the center of the river, still in a deadlock. Sasuke stared in confusion, before he felt something weird with his chakra pathways.

Sasuke jumped back from Naruto, only to have Naruto follow and manage to land a punch.

Sasuke looked baffled as he stared at the blond. "What did you do?"

Naruto just smirked. "You can't feel it? How your new chakra is flowing differently than you want it to?"

Sasuke's glare grew fiercer. Naruto spoke up before he could demand answers once more.

"My gift from the old sage was perfect understanding of chakra, while you got an overpowered eye. I know how to manipulate my chakra in ways that no other knew they would ever be able to. I merely coated my chakra with yang energies that you wouldn't be able to mingle with. Which means that I control a part of you."

Sasuke watched in shock as Naruto's eyes shifted, spirals spinning into his pupils, leaving a much stranger site than the rinnegan, before he saw the sharingan tomoe flowing along the spirals and start spinning in the center of his pupils. Altogether, it was more hypnotic than his own eyes though slightly faded.

Sasuke stared in shock as Naruto's eyes pulsed, the nine moons he trapped the tailed beasts within breaking apart.

The beasts, having sensed and through Naruto's bond with them, seen, what was going on, acted fast.

All eight and a half biju, jumped and allowed themselves to be sealed into Naruto.

Naruto gasped at the sudden rush of power, his form bursting into his six paths form, actual horns bursting from his head, his eyes beginning to bleed as they stopped fading and became more solid, flowing slightly faster.

Sasuke gritted his teeth as he felt the chakra trap within his system fizzle out, signaling his freedom from Naruto's hold.

Naruto flexed his eyes as the moon returned to its former color, while he could sense the returning strength of those that were trapped.

Sakura and Kakashi were getting closer now that there were no more large scale jutsu being launched at random intervals, most likely in hopes of healing them from their battle.

Sasuke almost looked like he had snapped, before rushing Naruto again.

Naruto glared back this time as his hair began to lose color. Slapping aside Sasuke's sword with his bare hand, bringing up a foot to stop his kick before he could set up a combo. Sasuke was suddenly punched in the stomach by a fist made from pure chakra that jumped out of Naruto's chest.

Sasuke stared at his friend in shock, having not expected something like this from Naruto.

Before Naruto could turn towards Sasuke to continue the battle, he was slightly distracted by Kakashi and Sakura gasping over his new appearance. Both had shock, while Sakura gave off slight fear and despair.

Naruto could sense that the fear and despair was not towards himself, but for Sasuke. She still had so much love for the boy, and with Naruto standing as he is with the power he was displaying, she had thought that Sasuke didn't survive the fight.

All three were shocked into disbelief when Sasuke appeared behind Naruto with amenotejikara, swapping with a stone. However, what he did after is what shocked them.

Sasuke's eyes began to bleed, as Naruto looked to be getting pulled into a point where Sasuke stabbed his fingers into his back. What appeared to be red gems began to form around the two as Naruto formed one last hand seal.

As Naruto shrunk into himself, Sasuke's arm began to be pulled into Naruto's back. Both boys were

From Naruto's chest, nine rather small biju jumped into existence.

"I told you I wouldn't let you be sealed again."

"Dope, for what it's worth, this peace will last longer without us here to imbalance everything. The five Kage would have fought over us and the biju till our deaths."

The biju each looked slightly uncomfortable at the Uchiha's words. Mostly hating to agree with him, but knew the truth in his words.

Naruto just grunted as the two became slightly distorted as they continued to shrink, the red shell covering them covering more, but shrinking with them all the same.

"So even after losing, you still refuse to trust others."

Sasuke smirked. "There are so few worthy of trusting. History will forever stand as proof of human greed."

Naruto just smirked back. "Well, I guess I will just have to break free of this and kick you ass some more to fix it. Maybe even create time travel to fix history as well."

Just as Sasuke and Naruto were disappearing, Kakashi and Sakura heard Sasuke utter the last thing from either. "You would only go back to make people believe that ramen is a gift from actual gods."

While both wanted to smack the boy, they couldn't help but see the truth in the statement. The last they saw of Naruto or Sasuke, was the blonde's laugh as they were incased by a glowing red gem.

As the boys vanished, being replaced by a single red gem, there was a sudden black hole that appeared under it.

Before either standing shinobi could reach the stone, it vanished into the black hole, never to be seen again.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=This is where the split will happen. The portal will lead to whatever world I need it to lead them to. This world however is the same world, just far into the past=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Naruto and Sasuke appeared in what appeared to be a red void, where Naruto just kicked Sasuke off him.

"We could have created peace. But instead, you choose to screw us both over. So what is this?"

Sasuke just shrugged, his eyes no longer bleeding, but his bloody tears still stained his cheeks. "Well, I found a sealing technique that Orochimaru created, and sealed us in a way that we and the power of the biju couldn't be used by the five Kage. Until you released the biju back into the world."

Naruto shrugged. "I promised them freedom, and they are mostly just harmless, unless they start to focus their power to regain their old limits. They left about ninety-three percent of their power in me when I tried to release them from me. They figured they could regain the power, but I would need all this power to rip you to shreds for pulling this stunt."

Sasuke just shrugged. "Well, I got nothing better to do than teach you that I am no pushover still."

And so it began. The eternal battle between the truly eternal rivals.

Bushy-brow and Bushier-brow sensei would be truly inspired.

Until the two boys got bored of the back and forth after what felt like years of fighting. Which turned into arguing, followed by any form of other styles of competition they could recreate with just themselves.

After about a couple hundred years, they found out they couldn't really be hurt. They obviously felt pain and have on more than one occasion broken the other's bones.

But they never tired or grew hungry. And something that they thought was impossible happened.

They grew bored of fighting. They grew bored of arguing. They grew bored of giving the other the silent treatment. They grew bored of everything.

After spending years upon years of doing one thing than another, with no real method to tell time, or how much has passed, due to the stasis of the realm they were in.

They could only become stronger.

Sasuke eventually learned that when Naruto used that yang power to stop his technique and rescue the biju, he also managed to awaken some of his Otsotsuki heritage.

Not as much as Naruto did, but enough to give him a bit of white in his hair, making his hair look like Naruto dipped him in white paint, as the dope enjoys reminding him.

Atleast he didn't have the horns. Naruto had both, so after Sasuke grew so bored of being broody, he teased Naruto using some innuendos.

His favorite being along the lines of Naruto being hornier… Sasuke could never break his boredom of not being funny.

He did try though.

Both boys, after an immeasurable amount of time, were left almost emotionless. They had grown bored of both sanity and insanity, hateful and joyful, and even each other.

As in Naruto Became like Sasuke and vice versa.

It started out mockingly, and grew into an honest persona swap, before they actually grew bored of it all together.

They even grew bored of being either gender.

Naruto taught Sasuke how to use his first creation, both now having experienced everything.

They have even grown bored enough to experience even forbidden acts. Trying new things to stave off boredom for just a little longer.

It all failed. Though Sasuke eventually admitted to enjoying the acts as either gender for either gender. Naruto however grew bored more quickly when he paired either for male.

Sasuke was bi-sexual, and Naruto was straight. Not important to know, but they were somewhat entertained with teasing material for another chunk of time.

Naruto and Sasuke have officially run out of every form of stopping boredom. They had tried everything they could thin of. And even some they at first didn't want to think of.

So here they were stuck, doing their best to play eye spy again. Neither ever really lost.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=into the outside world=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

The red gem fell out of the black hole, landing in the dirt.

The gem would be found by a bandit, who would lose it to a woman that slit his throat after he forced himself onto her.

And her child would give it to his wife and so on and so on.

Throughout the years, the gem would get around to nearly all types of people. Rich and poor, beautiful and ugly, large and small.

Eventually it would be crafted into a necklace, and upon wearing the necklace, strange things would take place, causing the necklace to gain rumors of curses and blessings.

One man swore he put it on when he was a woman, another child swore they could breath fire when wearing it. Another swore they could see the future.

Another said he saw two gods playing rock, paper, scissors. But he was also eating random mushrooms from the woods, so people were hesitant to believe him.

Most rumors surrounding the necklace were simply ignored by everyone, just assuming they wanted the necklace for themselves and believed they were lying to keep it.

Which leads to its current position, as a family heirloom among a specific line of ladies in the Hyuga clan.

Being used as an heirloom from mother to daughter for six generations, and with the sixth holder having just died not too long ago in childbirth. The necklace was given to her daughter, as a means to remember her by.

Hinata Hyuga had not been asleep for very long when she was jolted awake by an unknown man gagging and quickly binding her arms. Carrying the girl from her room under his arm, trying to be quick as he rushed from the compound and sought to leave the village.

Hinata had not taken her mother's necklace off since her father handed it to her and was even wearing it now.

And with the fear she felt, and the desires in her heart.

Two souls from the stone felt them, and with that conscious awareness, her wish for a hero was granted.

Sankuro was on his way out the Hyuga compound, having noticed the clan head was nearing his exit point, he chose to risk jumping in an off direction.

It would lengthen his trip through Konoha territory, but he would avoid a confrontation with the Hyuga.

Just as he was getting some distance from Hiashi, ignoring the sniffles of his cargo, he was caught off guard by roots grabbing his feet.

He lost his grip on the girl as she rolled forward, away from him and towards the feet of two obvious shinobi. Neither were like anyone he has ever heard of before.

While both stood tall, their clothing appeared to have seen better days. The one on the right had what might have been a cloak, until something appeared to have run a sword down in at several points, and his trousers appearing to have been burnt to his shins.

Neither wore a shirt, nor shoes. The other to the left looked to have been wearing baggy pants tied with tape at the ankles, with the rope that tied them up looking to be painted in rust and had what might have been the bow burnt off.

The young man on the right had pure white hair, horns on his forehead, and three whisker marks on each cheek. The one to his left had black hair that changed white about halfway out.

The men's eyes however, is what caused fear to grip his very soul.

The left one's were two separate eyes, his right being only referenced within the oldest texts, and the right one, only within the nightmares of the oldest shinobi from the warring era before the forming of the village system.

The Rinegan and Mengekyo Sharingan, though he almost missed the tomoe within the rinnegan, if he hadn't taken a second look.

The man to his right, who had picked up and unbound the Hyuga princess, however. His eyes resembled no known text that he had ever heard of.

Both were the same, unlike the first one. Both being swirls that spun into the center, where a three tailed tomoe resided, spinning hypnotically as more tomoe traveled the spiral, only to blend into one of the preexisting tails.

Hinata was just nestled into the cloaked man's chest, as he mumbled sweet words of comfort to her.

Sankuro was just now noticing as he was bound fully in the roots.

Sasuke turned to Naruto as he asked.

"Are we finally free from the seal?"

Naruto, now finally able to look at and examine the seal that bound them for an uncountable length of time, looked very closely at the gem.

"From what I can read here, no. We appear to be bound to it and will only be free when our dear little princess wishes it."

Naruto and Sasuke both looked at one another. Both just now realizing that the only reason they knew their own names, was because they continued to call each other by them.

They recognized the girl and knew who she was.

But they couldn't recall the names of anyone they knew. They spent so much time fighting. First each other, then boredom, and just now realized that they have completely forgotten everything about everyone and everything else.

Naruto felt a connection to the young girl and remembered the love he felt for her.

But he couldn't remember her.

Sasuke just couldn't remember anything throughout the village.

"Well, this sucks."

Hinata looked between the two, and checked on the man that kidnapped her, noticing that he was barely holding it together. He appeared to be having a panic attack. And maybe a heart attack as well.

Hiashi, who had just caught up to them was also not faring much better.

The fear in his eyes as he looked into the eyes of the two men that saved her was able to be seen and understood by even her own innocent mind.

Hinata pulled herself from the gentle teen's grip, Hiashi breathing much easier when she ran over and hugged him.

Hiashi also got a scare when the two boys just melted into red mist that swirled into Hinata's necklace.

"We are going to be visiting the Hokage, to hopefully get some answers."

And as he motioned for some clansmen to take the root bound man to I&T department at Anbu headquarters, he took stock of his daughter's condition, and after taking note of her exhaustion, he decided to set up a meeting with her in the morning.

After tucking his daughter into bed and setting up a guard for the night at her window. Hiashi left off to speak with the Hokage, to speak about what he experienced tonight and set up a meeting for the next day.

He would also have to invite Fugaku to the meeting considering the similarities the boys eyes had to the sharingan.

Alright.

I am posting this as a new fiction so you all can see it, because if I swap the chapters in the old version, it will not inform anyone about it or bring it up as an update.

After I had wrote the previous one, I have always wanted to re write it to have a better description of how things look. I hope I did better.

I also hope you all read these author notes, because I would like some people to answer me.

I chose to out right re-write this story. However, I will be looking to pat re on for opinions on what stories get full re-works, or just some polish and shine.

I have been promoting my pat re on in some author notes on several of my stories.

/supremebandit if you choose to aid me in my time of need. It will mostly be just general support for myself and my family, and it won't really get you anything.

Unless enough people join me there and give me suggestions on things to make for just there.

My stories however, will most likely just wind up here.

So other than just being nice and supporting me financially, there isn't much reason to join me there.

Well, here is a bit of an omake that I wrote up for the scene where the gem falls into the portal.

What if it didn't land in a black hole and just plopped onto the ground.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Omake=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Just as Sasuke and Naruto were disappearing, Kakashi and Sakura heard Sasuke utter the last thing from either. "You would only go back to make people believe that ramen is a gift from actual gods."

While both wanted to smack the boy, they couldn't help but see the truth in the statement. The last they saw of Naruto or Sasuke, was the blonde's laugh as they were incased by a glowing red gem.

Before either could actually go forth and grab it, a fish suddenly popped up and ate it. Both teacher and student were so caught off guard by this, considering the battle should have scared away any animal in the area.

The fish had a rather dumb look about it, its eyes looking in two different directions, as it continued to try and swim away.

Onto dry land.

Sakura looked to Kakashi. "What am I seeing here?"

Kakashi just shrugged as he stepped forward to grab the fish and get the gem from it.

After just one step, a bird swooped by and grabbed the fish.

Kakashi had a twitch in his eye. "Is that karma against Sasuke, or just Naruto's luck? Because, what the fuck just happened?"

Sakura went to jump at the bird to rescue her friends, only for the bird to hit a current wrong and end up low enough for a larger fish to jump up and swallow the bird whole.

Kakashi and Sakura were officially concerned over this, as both began chasing the clusterfuck they were witnessing.

Once was an accident, twice was coincidence. More times was enemy interference.

And with how often the animals coughed up the gem, only for it to be eaten again and escape their grasps even after they got help from other shinobi was just starting to piss everyone off.

They were nowhere near where alligators lived, and weren't dodo birds extinct? Sakura blames the two boy's luck for this.
