imagine your OTP meeting while taking their children trick-or-treating

"Mummy, hurry!" little Giovanna said, jumping in their living room. "Grandpa said we need to go show him my costume!"

Bella laughed at the energy of her child; she had Charlie wrapped around her little finger ever since she was a baby. Bella was always thankful to have Charlie there to help her, since Giovanna's father had abandoned her when they discovered the pregnancy.

"Calm down, Gio, I'm coming," Bella replied, smiling at the sight of her daughter. "Aren't you just precious?"

Giovanna was dressed like Elsa, from Frozen—her favourite movie, and one Bella hated for how many times she had to watch—and was living her dreams. Bella smiled seeing her daughter so happy.

"Alright, Ice Queen, let's go show Grandpa Charlie how incredible you are, before we go trick or treating!" Bella replied, grabbing her purse and Giovanna's pumpkin bicket. "Are you ready?"

"Yay!" Giovanna said, running towards the door. "But where is your costume, mummy? You can't go out without a costume!"

Bella cursed the fact her daughter could be so precocious some times. Being a young single mother was difficult sometimes, especially in a small town like Forks; people could be so judgmental.

Seeing the way Giovanna was looking at her, Bella decided to cave and throw something together to appease her daughter. Putting on some white leggings, a white dress and some white coat, she could pass over Marshmallow, Elsa's companion.

"I know you prefer Olaf, but Marshmallow was always my favourite," Bella said to her daughter, before opening the door. "Now, let's go show Grandpa our costumes."

They walked across the street and Giovanna rang the doorbell, standing on her toenails in anticipation. Luckily, Charlie didn't let them wait any longer.

"Grandpa! Look! I'm Elsa!" Giovanna turned to show him her costume, and Charlie hummed and awed when necessary. "And mummy is Marshmallow!"

"Don't even start," Bella mumbled, glaring at Charlie, who smirked at her.

"You both look amazing," Charlie said, smiling wider at Giovanna. "But you're prettier, sweetie."

"Thanks a lot, Dad," Bella replied, trying to glare at Charlie, but failing miserably. "We're going trick or treating, do you want to tag along?"

"Nah, I'll hand candy, and reserve some for my beautiful granddaughter," Charlie said, winking at Giovanna who beamed at him. "Will wait for you later."

"Bye grandpa!" Giovanna waved at him, before grabbing her mum's hand and walking to the street. "Come on, mummy!"

Bella laughed at how exasperated her daughter was. Not wanting to be at the receiving end of a four-year-old's rage, they started walking in their neighbourhood. It was mostly old couples and small families who lived around, and Bella was surprised about how many people were walking there.

Giovanna was an angel, obeying her and holding her hand and being polite when asking for candy. Everything was going fine, until they ran into a girl dressed as Anna.

"Mummy, look! My sister! Anna!" Giovanna said, almost running in the direction of the other girl. "Is my sister!"

The little girl dressed up as Elsa also ran towards Giovanna, yelling 'my sister!' and Bella had to smile at the scene in front of her. They were too sweet.

"Elsa! I looked everywhere for you!" the little girl said, hugging Giovanna. "Don't run away from me again!"

"I'll never leave you!" Giovanna replied, hugging the other girl, and Bella's heart melted at the scene.

"Maya! Please, don't go running away from me," a man dressed like Kristoff said, running towards the little girl. "You almost scared me to death."

"But daddy, look! It's my sister, Elsa!" Maya said, pushing Giovanna towards the man. "I was looking everywhere for her."

The man chuckled, while Bella came closer. "I can see that, but don't run, okay? You remember the rules, don't you?"

"Yes, sorry, daddy," Maya mumbled, letting go of Giovanna and hugging her dad's legs.

"Mummy, can Elsa come play? I want Grandpa to know her," Giovanna asked, coming near her.

Bella didn't know what to answer; she looked at Maya's father, who seemed to be looking at her with a smirk. He was a good looking guy, and dressing up as Kristoff was helping his good looks.

"I think you need to ask her father first, Gio," Bella said, coming near the duo. "Hey, I'm Bella and this is Giovanna."

"Nice to meet you two, I'm Paul and this firecracker is Maya," Paul replied, hugging his daughter. "Nice costume."

"Thanks," Bella mumbled, without knowing what to say. "Do you think we can plan a playdate for the girls?"

"I think they'll love it," Paul replied, grabbing his cellphone from his pocket. "Why don't you give me your number and I'll give you a call?"

"And you two can go on a date!" Maya said, startling the two adults. "Grandma said you need to go out, daddy."

Paul blushed and Bella thought it was adorable. "I'm sorry, my daughter doesn't have a filter."

"Don't worry, I think it's sweet." Bella smiled at him, and tried not to blush. "We can always grab a coffee while they play."

Paul looked at her, and slowly, a smirk appeared on his face. "I think we can do it. Want to go trick or treating with us?"

Bella nodded, and they walked the rest of the neighbourhood, talking and watching their daughters having the time of their lives. Next time Giovanna wanted to watch Frozen, Bella would play without complaining.
