Prompt #71: Noah gets exposed to a scary movie by someone in the Stabler clan, Olivia is not happy about it

Everybody Gets Scared Right?

Fall was in full bloom and the leaves on the trees were light green and orange. The air was cooler. Stores had the pumpkin spice and caramel out. People either had fall decor or Halloween decor out in their yards.

Olivia and Elliot were busy but they finally made time to meet up for lunch or whatnot. After the brotherhood case, he told Ayanna that he was done with undercover assignments so he can be home more with Eli and his mother, Bernie.

On a rare Saturday, they had the day off, coincidence? I think not. They decided to have a scary movie night.

Olivia was waiting on Noah to finish getting ready.

"Noah, we're gonna be late..."

Noah walks out of his room and into the kitchen/living room.

"Mom, can't be late. They'll start the movie when we get there. Why are you in a hurry?"

"Oh, no reason."

"Sure."

Olivia and Elliot had gotten closer. You see they were slowly easing into a romantic relationship but trying to keep it on the down-low for now until she was ready to disclose.

Kathleen had an inkling that something was going on with her father. One day, she had shown up to bring Bernie her meds and he was there smiling like an idiot at his phone.

"What's up with dad?"

Bernie looked up and watched as her son started typing on the damn device smiling like a damn idiot.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say he's an idiot in love."

"Grandma!"

Olivia and Noah arrive in Long Island in front of Elliot's building. From inside the building, Elliot heard the car door slam shut.

"They're here!"

He was acting the same way he did last Christmas when he thought they were at the door.

They all lined up like they were about to meet someone famous. At first, Eli didn't understand why his brother and sisters were close to her but over time, Kathleen had sat him down and told him that if it wasn't for Olivia, she wouldn't have gotten the help she needed and that she had helped Dickie out as well.

Elliot opened the door when he heard them get closer to the entrance and he smiled.

"Hey!"

Noah smiled softly "Hi, Elliot!"

Elliot smiled back. "Hey so glad you could make it!"

They walk in and he shuts the door behind them. Noah sees Eli and Richard. He goes over to them.

"So, what movie are we watching?"

"Still trying to decide. How about you pick?"

"Alright…mm how about Scream?"

Olivia heard Noah suggest it. "Noah, you sure?"

"Come on mom, it's just a movie. Nothing scary about it.."

Olivia sighs and nods. "Alright..."

So, they get the snacks and drinks ready. Olivia and Elliot were sitting on the couch. Eli and Richard were sitting on the comfortable chairs. The girls were sitting in chairs as well.

Pulling up the streaming platform they type up Scream and pull up the one with Drew Barrymore in it and hit play on the remote.

10 minutes into the movie, Drew's character was outside of the house and she went to turn around to face the doors to find someone staring back at her wearing a mask. She screams which causes an "oomph!" from Elliot's mouth.

"Liv!"

They all look their way to find Olivia in their father's lap. Her face was buried into his solid chest and neck. She turns her head a little.

"What? Everybody gets scared, right?"
