Dipper walks out front of the mystery shack in the afternoon but something doesn't feel right to him, he turns around to see all the pine trees gone and all that's left is vast fields, He turns around again to see the mystery shack in ruin, slowing coming undone and falling into a worse state. He feels his heart began to race when he hears footsteps becoming louder and faster, He without thought begins running towards town but trips into a large puddle and begins to sink. He awakes on a shoreline of a small island and hears someone crying, Much to his surprise it was Mabel, and she was pointing to his hands. He gazed at them and noticed something wrong, he had one additional finger on each hand.

Dipper awoke in a cold sweat, "Wow Dipper are you alright?" Mabel asked with a great deal of concern. "I'm alright just a terrible nightmare." He stated "Alright.. well we're home now so we need to get off the bus" she said with a face showing she was still highly concerned. "Wait we are already here?" He asked with bewilderment "Yeah you slept a long time seems like you really needed it" she said absently.

They stepped down from the bus to find themselves back in piedmont after a long summer, it felt like they hadn't been in piedmont forever, but it felt like the summer went by too quickly anyway. They began walking home, "Mabel is everything alright you seem a little.. down" Dipper asked looking worrisome, "Oh uhhh I'm just a little down because I think Waddles misses Gompers, I mean look at that face! It's one of tragedy". Dipper let out an awkward chuckle still concerned, but he thought it would be best not to push on and let her work out whatever was bothering her when she was ready.

There it was, Their small suburban home which they left only a few months ago, but to them their home was still back in the mystery shack back in Gravity Falls. Dipper was especially uneasy, because everything was too peaceful, too quiet, and far too artificial looking, The perfectly trimmed bushes, plants, and grass the evenly placed trees. It felt otherworldly in comparison to what they had, Dipper already began miss the sounds of the pine trees rustling in the wind, the woodpeckers, and most of all the strange creatures roaming at night, It all became weirdly comforting to him.

After a few minutes they rang the doorbell and were greeted by their parents, then they were pulled into a long embrace, That was definitely something they did miss and it helped him look at bright side more. "Mabel do you have a grappling hook under your skirt???" Their mother asked with concern 'uh oh' was all Mabel kind think.
