"Daisuke! Daisuke!" The quarter finals begins as Daisuke look at the seat there is a woman who wears a hat and designer outfit with purple color smiling sinisterly as Daisuke stopped his match the condition of the match is a bit of chaos
"How can that woman be here?" Daisuke thought
Flashback
Daisuke is training with his teammates for the soccer matches one day when he was changing it was an odd day where he was the last one in as he change in his changing room he felt like someone bit him on his back neck but as he looked around and continue changing he look around again but there is no one as he leave a dangling carnivorous mouth opens up while putiing on a sinister look
"Hmm maybe I'm imagining…" Daisuke comes out from the room and goes home as usual
End of flashback
"Did Daisuke act strange to all of you?" Ken asked as he and the other chosen childrens are looking at the soccer game
"Hmm… Something strange…" The others wonder
Well…" Takeru said
Flashback
A few days has been past after the preliminary round of the soccer match Takeru and Hikari saw Daisuke on class one day
"Daisuke you look tired today…" Hikari asked
"Yeah been putting up an all nighter…. I can't fail again this mid terms…" Daisuke sighed
"Who are you and what have you done with Daisuke?" Takeru walks in he was the original chosen children along with Hikari and both of their brothers
"Can't I just study without you acting suspicious Mr popular singer." Daisuke looked a bit pissed
"So do you want to get back in the old day shall we take it outside?" Takeru said jokingly
"Ha?! If you want too!" Daisuke and Takeru looked at each other with intense stare and Hikari saw the competitive atmosphere
"Stop it both of you!" Hikari being the middle voice sighed as Both of them laughed it off
"We're just joking around Hikari…" Daisuke said calmly
"Why would we banter off like that and you're not still having a crush with Hikari would you?" Takeru asked
"Of course not it was an elementary crush I haven't even think about it until you brought it up." Daisuke raised his eyebrows
"Want to get some lunch later?" Takeru asked
"Yeah Sure…" Daisuke smiled
During lunch time Daisuke , Hikari and Takeru were now in the canteen taking turns in getting their food
" Hmm… could I have more of the vegetables and no meat please." Daisuke smiled as he gets back to his seat it was mostly tofu and some vegetables
"Daisuke are you on a healthy diet or something?' Takeru asked
"No… I just didn't crave for meat all of a sudden." Daisuke answered as he eats
End of flashback
"That is what you thought weird?" Ken asked
"No that isn't really what's weird actually…" Takeru said as Daisuke suddenly passing every one of his opponent's team in brilliant way until there is a puddle that made him fall off as somehow he doesn't get himself wet
"Everytime that woman is there…. Is it the water or am I merely hallucinating?" Daisuke thought as suddenly his ball is stolen and the other team reach down for a goal that is the decisive moment before the last minute
Daisuke is the first one to go home without briefing to his coach or teammates he was outside where a woman wearing a red blood Veldora hat and outfit to match waits for him
"You're that woman…" Daisuke said but suddenly his head feels heavy
"Didn't I tell you that you will lost." The woman said as she whisper to Daisuke
"Yes…" Daisuke said
"Since I won the bet you wouldn't mind right? Also quit your team while you are ahead." The woman said from the look of his eyes it was empty
"Yes… I will prepare when the time is near…" Daisuke said with monotone voice
"Okay you may continue I feel the chosen children's presence…" The woman said as she snapped her hands where one of his teammates come for him as he look around he can't remember why he was there and he look at his phone as he answers it
"Where are you?!" The sound was from his teammates
"I was outside and going back home…" Daisuke answered
"The coach is mad for you taking off." His teammate said
"Tell the coach I am going to see him on the club and there is also something I want to talk about…" Daisuke sighed
Ken is outside first he is waiting for the others with V-mon
"Is that Daisuke?" Ken asked
"Yes ken it's him." Wormmon said
"Dai!" V-mon shouted
"I forgot V-mon…" Daisuke just noticed as he heard V-mon's sound and saw Ken behind him
"That was a tight match…" Ken said
"Yeah and thank you for tagging V-mon along…" Daisuke smiled
"Where are the others?" He asked
"Well they are in the rest room drinking too much soda." Ken said as Takeru have to wait for hikari and Miyako
Meanwhile
"Why am I the one that is task for this…" Takeru waited for the girls with the other digimons
"Just think of this as your patience training." Gatomon said
"That is right Takeru…" Patamon nodded
"Why didn't they just go when all of you go the cinema?" Hawkmon sighed
"But that soccer match Ken must be thinking what I was thinking." Takeru thought
Back outside
"Daisuke if you had problems we could just talk…" Ken said
"What are you talking about?' Daisuke asked
"You have been acting pretty suspicious lately that match confirms it are you water phobia?" Ken asked
"Not really I can't explain why but everytime I saw puddle or large surface of water lately I didn't know if I hallucinate or not but I saw tentacles trying to grip me." Daisuke said to Ken
"And are you scared of that?" Ken asked
"Not at first it was mind but it happen on random then it becomes actively screwing me off that is why I am avoiding water." Daisuke said
"And about your diet since when did you go veggie?" Ken asked
"Are you my mom or something?! I just want to try something healthy for once is that wrong?" Daisuke asked
"Let's not discuss it and don't tell the others on what we talk about… Also Ken I am quitting the soccer club…" Daisuke said with a smile
"Tell the others I am heading home let's go V…" He sighed
"Bye Ken…" V-mo said as Daisuke and V-mon heading home
"What the other suspicion is right then huh?" Wormmon asked
"Y-yeah… But I don't want to make assumption who knows maybe he is going through a phase I mean he had a soccer match where he lost." Ken said as the others comes in
Next Day at the soccer club Daisuke is being talked to the coach
"Why did you leave so suddenly Daisuke?" The coach asked
"Sorry Coach… I didn't think that there is no more to be said I am to blame for the match." Daisuke said
"You will be put on the bench…" The coach said
"If I was out in a bench…" Daisuke looked devastated but then he just smiled
"Then consider this my resignation from the club I was going to quit the club anyway coach thank you for everything." Daisuke bowed as a thank you
"If you want to quit then are you not satisfied only being the bench?" The coach asked
"Not that coach… I have to quit as a part of a bet…" Daisuke sighed
"If I lose before semi finals then I have to quit the soccer club." He sighed as he look at his phone
"Yes… Yes…" Daisuke answers it
"My aunt is outside…" He said but then the soccer team member is in awe A woman in late 30's wearing a red veldora hat and gown like a rich designer calls out for Daisuke…
"Aunt!" Daisuke shouted as his eyes went blank as he went to the woman
"So this is your aunt?" The coach asked as a while later
"Thank you for giving my niece here the team he really wants to go to America so we had a bet I want him to focus more on his happiness but there is a condition if he lost he must quit his club and focus solely on his studies. Before this midterms his grades have gone down…" The woman explained
"So you give this as a reason did his parents know?" The coach asked
"No…. It was a secret deal. His parents aren't always at home that is why he always comes to me…" The woman pat Daisuke's head while he smiled
"So what you are saying is right Daisuke?" The coach asked
"Yes…" Daisuke nodded
"Then I can't stop you…" The coach sighed
"I will be going back home now coach thank you again…" Daisuke said as he leaves
The woman looked at Daisuke while smiling
"Prepare your clothes two days I'll pick you up…" The woman smiled
"Yes…" Daisuke smiled
As Daisuke leaves behind the woman's shadow comes out of it's shadow
"eyesmon follow him…" The woman said as Eyesmon trail Daisuke's shadow
"Soon…. Soon… The Designated time will come." The woman smiled sinisterly
Two Days later….
Daisuke is packing his bags and met with the woman
"Are you ready?" The woman asked
"Yes…" Daisuke with V-mon going along with her from the ouside it looks fine but from his neck it can be seen that the mark that he got way back blooms while V-mon is wondering
"Daisuke where are we going?" V-mon asked
"Just follow…" Daisuke sighed as V-mon wondered and turns into Raidramon with the digi egg of friendship
A few days later…
The bell rings Hikari and Takeru is in class but they have been wondering where Daisuke is he hasn't been to class a few days as they meet up with Iori and Miyako outside of school hours not with Ken
"Where is Ken?" Hikari asked
"Oh he has something to do where is Daisuke?" Miyako asked
"He hasn't been to school for a few days…" Takeru answered
"We are from the motomiya household yesterday his sister said he went away to his friends house but when we said he wasn't with Ken Jun's face went white." Iori said
"I heard he goes out from the soccer club the day after that quarter finals." Miyako heard rumors
"It was true he quit his soccer club for undisputed reason of his own volition but from the scoop I heard from my photography club they saw Daisuke with his aunt…" Hikari said
"Wait an aunt? Their aunt isn't on Odaiba." Miyako felt weirded out
"V-mon is also acting weird being all quiet and not as energetic as before…" Gatomon pointed out
"Just what is with those two… Even when I give him chocolates he didn't bite." Armadillomon said
"Hmmm… actually…" Miyako sighed as she got the call
"Ken where are you?" She answered it was from Ken and answered
"The person you suspect I am following her…" Ken said as he is on a stake out
"Y-yeah he is our supposed leader after all." Miyako said
"What are you doing?" Hikari asked
"Ken had this idea of a stake out following Daisuke's "aunt" ." Miyako explained
"We just have to wait…" Iori said
Meanwhile
Ken is following a woman with red veldora with wormmon
"This place is…" Ken said as he followed her but the detour is frustrating and it was almost night time where it seems to be going around Odaiba before to the outskirts as he arrived he text Miyako to come for him on Odaiba outskirt
As the woman arrived it is seen Daisuke looking looking at the moonless moon
"The time to go back is near…" Daisuke said with a monotone voice as Ken comes out with wormmon
"Daisuke is that you?" Ken asked
"How did you follow us?!" The woman look a bit shock as he saw behind her
"Ken…" Daisuke look monotone at Ken
"The moonless night is perfect…" He smiled as he look back
"The feeling of the ocean can you hear Ken…"Daisuke said to him
"This feeling this awfully familiar felling!" Ken shouted as Daisuke pointed out his D3 to some sort of stone like small beam that look upwards
"The ocean is calling me…" Daisuke just repeats it his gaze is empty as Raidramon seems didn't care sitting down not caring
"I shall eliminate him the more witness that know…" The woman said while raidramon didn't do anything
"Be my guess all I want for is no interruption for my partner after all you're the one that planned this…" Raidramon groans
"Very Well then I, Oleamon will take care of him…" The woman turns into a hideous plant woman
"I just hope everyone gets here on time…" Ken thought as he is ready to face Oleamon with wormmon as a gate is slowly opening while the others are getting Ken's message and goes to where Ken is now.
